- "What I want, is the bad ending."
- ―Zitt to Keiwa Sakurai[src]
Zitt (ジット, Jitto)[1] was a Game Master (ゲームマスター, Gēmu Masutā) and Suel's right-hand man sent from the future to oversee the bad endings and transformed into Kamen Rider Regad (仮面ライダーリガド, Kamen Raidā Rigado).
History
Background
Zitt was a creation exclusively designed by Suel. He was selected to become the latest Game Master for the Desire Grand Prix following the Grand End.
Genesis Arc
Zitt arrived from the future on behalf of his superior, Suel to hunt down and eliminate Geats and retrieve their rogue navigator Tsumuri to repurpose her as the coveted Goddess of Genesis. Samas, newly appointed as the DGP's producer, cautioned Zitt to Ace Ukiyo’s formidable ability to manipulate reality. Undeterred, Zitt believed their combined strength could counterbalance Ace's and declared that it was Tsumuri's destiny to ascend as the subsequent Goddess of Genesis. To bolster their forces, Zitt and Samas rendezvoused with allies Beroba and Kekera and handed them the Black Raise Riser Cards, boasting of their superior 'premium powers'.
As the tension-fraught Parasite Game unfolded, Zitt confronted Ace and Tsumuri within the city in an attempt to apprehend her. He engaged both Ace and Win Hareruya, who had arrived to assist, and overwhelmed them with his physical prowess. With Tsumuri close to embracing her divine potential, Zitt warned the duo of the looming challenge to safeguard her.
Parallel intrigues unraveled as Keiwa Sakurai's temporary alliance with Zitt came to light, the latter harboring a wish to resurrect his sister Sara Sakurai in exchange for delivering Tsumuri to Zitt. However, as Tsumuri's divine awakening neared completion, Zitt took the drastic step of imprisoning her, effectively replacing the late Mitsume as the Goddess. However, Keiwa's ambition led to unforeseen events, allowing Win to infiltrate Zitt's stronghold and liberate Tsumuri, but at the result of being viciously incapacitated by Zitt himself.
Unprecedentedly, Ace recreated reality once more, but that inadvertently provided Zitt a new advantage in the form of Tsumuri's teardrop, allowing him to clone her and create an individual known as Black Tsumuri. As Beroba and Kekera discover, she is able to grant wishes at a deadly cost.
In the heart of the Desire Temple, specifically in the chamber dedicated to the God of Genesis, an intense standoff unfolded. Zitt, wearing a Zillion Driver came face to face with Ace, who was bound by the Shackles of Genesis following his ascension into godhood, courtesy of the "Power of Genesis" he liberated from Tsumuri, and had begun to petrify. Zitt became increasingly irritated with Ace's defiance and attempted to hasten the process using the Zillion Driver while he condemned Ace's unsanctioned command over the powers of Genesis. However Ace, resilient and unyielding, rebuked Zitt's comments and, inspired by Keiwa's conviction and heroism, claimed the divine power that is rightfully his. Ace, returning to his original form, breaks free of his bonds and stood tall against Zitt, who transforms in retaliation into Kamen Rider Regad.
After an intense duel that resulted in Zitt's defeat, he ruminated on the futility of his existence before being unceremoniously disassembled into information and incorporated into Suel, who revealed that Zitt was his design.
Personality
Zitt is a cold, calm, and highly professional man. Adopting a no-nonsense attitude, he does not care for saving the world or ensuring the audience's entertainment, only having an interest in bringing about dystopia and "bad endings" to the games he runs. Highly focusing on his objectives, he directly engages in the field himself in order to get the job done as efficiently and quickly as possible.
Despite his serious demeanor, Zitt seems to enjoy observing certain things, as evidenced by the one-handed binoculars he carries and uses to look at things he finds interesting. When he turned Tsumuri into the new Goddess of Genesis, he showed a certain smile, indicating he enjoys completing his tasks.
After Keiwa has his wish granted, he reveals his true persona to Keiwa. He may grant the participant's wish, but he has no intention to make sure that wish leads the wisher to have a happy life. He loves the "bad endings" to everyone's life and laughs at Keiwa's failure to make a better description of his wish, which resulted in the second death of his family. This in turn makes him not that different from his creator Suel.
Abilities
- Master Martial Artist: Zitt was a skilled fighter who was able to fight several skilled combatants such as Win Hareruya and Ace Ukiyo, managing to defeat the former in several occasions and even took down Keiwa (who at that point has become so arrogant after obtaining the Bujin Sword Buckle) when he begins to threaten him to revive his family again. However, even if he transformed into Regad, he was unable to defeat Ace as GeatsIX.
- Master Manipulator: Due to Zitt's origins of being a creation of Suel he inherits his creators' manipulative mind, as shown when he along with the help of Kakera and Beroba manipulated Keiwa into becoming their enforcer by promising him to revive his family even though he knows that would backfire. Even forcing him to try and kill Ace after the consequences of Keiwa's wish reveals itself, all the while knowing that Keiwa has zero chance against him.
- Durability: Zitt was able to withstand a punch dealt from Win, and even injured the latter's hand via the recoil.
