The Transformation Belt Ziku-Driver (変身ベルト ジクウドライバー, Henshin Beruto Jikū Doraibā, lit. "Spacetime Driver") is the transformation device used by Kamen Rider Zi-O, Kamen Rider Geiz, Kamen Rider Tsukuyomi, Kamen Rider Barlckxs, Kamen Rider Zonjis and Kamen Rider Zamonas. It uses Ridewatches as its primary collectible device.
Design[]
The Ziku-Driver is composed of the following parts:
- D '9 Slot (D‘9スロット, D‘9 Surotto): The right-hand slot for inserting transformation Ridewatches.
- D '3 Slot (D‘3スロット, D‘3 Surotto): The left-hand slot for inserting Ridewatches to access Rider Armors.
- Ride On Ruser (ライドオンリューザー, Raido On Ryūzā): The button which unlocks the Ziku Circular and the approval key of each Ridewatch that was inserted.
- Ziku Circular (ジクウサーキュラー, Jikū Sākyurā): The main unit of the Ziku Driver. By rotating it 360 degrees, it spreads and loads the data of the Ridewatches set into the slots at both ends into concentric circles and transfers it to the Ziku Matrix. The energy generated by its rotary motion that is accelerated and amplified for use in transformation and finishers.
- Ziku Matrix (ジクウマトリクス, Jikū Matorikusu): The theoretical realization device of the Ziku Driver located behind the Ziku Circular. It realizes the data of the inserted Ridewatches, transmitted by the Ziku Circular, as equipment and armor.
- Sight Window (ザイトウインドー, Zaito Uindō): The display of the Ziku Driver. In addition to the time coordinates of Ridewatches, the Rider's current form is also displayed.

To transform, the user inserts the Ridewatch into the D '9 Slot before pressing the Ride On Ruser and rotating the Ziku Circular 360 degrees. To assume a Rider Armor form, the user inserts a second Ridewatch into the D '3 Slot and performs the same procedure.
The Decade Ridewatch accesses additional forms through inserting another Ridewatch into it, without needing to rotate the Ziku Circular. Upgraded forms either use a Ridewatch that takes up both slots, or have a secondary Ridewatch inserted in the D '3 Slot while still using the base form Ridewatch.
As the Ziku-Driver is the more widely used driver in the series, there have been variations of transformation effects used and shown:
- Sougo Tokiwa summons a giant analog clock as he transforms, it spinning and pointing at 10:00 and 2:00 to make up the antennae, the katakana appearing as multiple watch bands form around him. His counterparts have different effects:
- His Mirror World counterpart uses a mirrored clock to transform.
- Sougo B uses a flying kiss from Misa to transform, as he summons a giant heart that spins.
- Sougo D transforms as the phrase "Yoroshiku" (よろしく) appears.
- Sougo E uses his Teddy Bear to tranform, it turning into particles that form the suit.
- Geiz Myokoin summons a giant digital watch that appears behind him, the hiragana showing up after he spun the driver, as watch bands surround him to form the suit.
- Tsukuyomi summons a stylized analog clock, which appears behind her as golden watch bands surround her and form the suit as the hands point at 12:00 and 2:00 as the katakana form from the clock.
- Jogen transforms into Kamen Rider Zamonas in a fashion similar to the Amazon Riders. As the clock appears behind him, a burst of fire erupts off him as it forms the suit, the katakana forming on his helmet.
- Kagen transforms into Kamen Rider Zonjis by combining the effects of Kamen Rider Shin, Kamen Rider ZO, and Kamen Rider J. He summons his watch, which has multiple red jewels embedded, and as he spins the driver, he begins to glow similar to ZO as the suit is form on him, the clock hands forming at 11:00 and 1:00, the katakana forming onto his helmet.
- The users ofKamen Rider Barlckxs transforms in a similar fashion to Kamen Rider Black and Black RX. They summons a clock, which resembles the Sunriser, and as they transform, the effect is similar to Black RX.
When using a RideArmor, the armor will appear with different summoning effects depending on the Rider used:
- BuildArmor appears in a giant FullBottle.
- Ex-AidArmor appears in a giant Gashat.
- GhostArmor appears in a giant Eyecon.
- BibillArmor is a variation that is summoned from a blue Ghost insignia.
- DriveArmor appears in a giant Type Speed tire.
- GaimArmor appears in a similar fashion to the Arms, appearing above the user.
- WizardArmor is formed from a Magic Circle that appears above the user.
- FourzeArmor appears in an Astroswitch.
- OOOArmor comes in a set of three mechanical animals that make up Tatoba Combo, a red hawk, yellow tiger, and a green grasshopper.
- WArmor summons two support robotsin the shapes of the Gaia Memories that form the armor.
- DecadeArmor appears from multiple Ride cads that summon and forms the armor similar to Decade's transformations.
- FaizArmor appears from a giant Faiz Phone.
- KuugaArmor appears from the Rider Insignia rather than an item.
When using upgraded forms, the transformation effects differ from the regular effects:
- Zi-O:
- Zi-OII summons two clocks side-by-side, the large hands pointing to 12:00, while the right side hand points at 9:00, while the left side points at 3:00.
- Zi-OTrinity turns Geiz and Woz into watch-like bands that go onto Zi-O's arms, as his face slides onto his chest, while gold bands surround and form onto the body, the katakana forming the visor on the blank helmet.
- GrandZi-O summons a golden clock tower as it begins to rain golden coins, then the statues of the 20 Heisei Riders appear on his sides, then as it begin, the suit turns golden as the statues become smaller and form onto different parts of the suit. as the Zi-O statue forms on the forehad, the katakna form the visor with golden highlights.
- Zi-O Ohma Form summons a giant statue of Ohma Zi-O as golden bands form around him and creating the suit, the Zi-O Ridewatch planted onto his forehead.
- Geiz:
- GeizRevive summons a bulky and mechanical hourglass as bulky watchbands surround him. The coloring also differs from the two forms: Goretsu has orange coloring while Shippu has blue coloring.
- GeizMajesty summons golden bands similar to Trinity, as multiple Ridewatches of Secondary Rides appear. As the driver is spun, the bands form a circle that goes over Geiz, forming the suit as the Ridewatches stick to different parts of the body, like GrandZi-O, as a red cape forms.

Ziku-Driver Buckle (ジクウドライバーバックル, Jikū Doraibā Bakkuru): Allows any of the Geats Riders to access Zi-O Form. It is based on Kamen Rider Zi-O and his transformation belt, the Ziku-Driver.
Behind the Scenes[]
Portrayal[]
The prose segments of the Ziku-Driver's announcements are voiced by Rikiya Koyama (小山 力也, Koyama Rikiya), who also voiced Ohma Zi-O and previously voiced Paradox Roidmude in Kamen Rider Drive: Surprise Future, Kamen Rider Bujin Gaim in Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider Gaim & Wizard: The Fateful Sengoku Movie Battle, and physically portrayed Kasumi no Joe in Kamen Rider Black RX.
The vocal segments of the Ziku-Driver's announcements are voiced by Yohei Onishi (大西 洋平, Ōnishi Yōhei).
Notes[]
- While the Ziku-Driver is mainly based on the word for "space-time" (時空, Jikū), it can follow Zi-O's secondary theming of Japanese lettering with the Japanese word for "lettering" (字句, Jiku).
- As the DX Ziku-Driver utilizes the same pin system as the DX Build Driver, it is possible to activate its different displays by using DX Fullbottles.
- The Ziku-Driver is based on wrist watches.
- After a Rider transforms using the Ziku-Driver the screen on the Driver shows the year of the Rider whose power they are using or of their own power this might represent a clock going ahead or back in time.
- In-show, the year stays visible on the Driver, however in the DX Driver, the year simply disappears after.
- The battery slot cover of the DX toy has the katakana for "belt" (ベルト, Beruto) on it.
- While this makes sense for Zi-O's katakana motif, it would clash against Geiz's Hiragana motif (i.e. the katakana for "belt" should be written in all hiragana (べると )).
- This might have been due to the fact that the Driver that Geiz uses was stolen from Ohma Zi-O in the future timeline, as revealed during the thirteenth episode of Zi-O. [Ghost Hunter 2018]
- While this makes sense for Zi-O's katakana motif, it would clash against Geiz's Hiragana motif (i.e. the katakana for "belt" should be written in all hiragana (べると )).
- In the Korean release of the Ziku-Driver, it is renamed Time-Driver .
- The Ziku-Driver is the first Transformation Belt to announce itself upon being worn. Toy-wise, the belt announces itself upon start.
