This article is about a Rider in Kamen Rider Geats. |
Yukie Yaginuma (八木沼 雪絵, Yaginuma Yukie) is a young woman who participated in the Desire Grand Prix as Kamen Rider Letter (仮面ライダーレター, Kamen Raidā Retā).
History
Conspiracy Arc
Yukie Yaginuma was chosen by Tsumuri as a Kamen Rider in the Third Onscreen Desire Grand Prix. She wrote on her Desire Card to lose 10 kilograms and marry her favorite idol. In the first round, she teamed up with Michinaga Azuma and Ittetsu Tanba to protect their flag from the Kaizoku Jyamato.
She was frightened by the Jyamato, choosing to hide from the battle instead. Despite being encouraged to fight for her desires, Yukie still opted to run away during the game's second phase, causing her to be shot down and beaten up by the Jyamato. Her Rider Core ID was shattered and Yukie was eliminated from the game.
Post-Mortem
After her death, Yukie's Rider Core ID was later collected by Archimedel and fed to premature Jyamato. Yukie would later be revived offscreen by Keiwa Sakurai, though the former's whereabouts remain unknown.[Genesis III: The Jet-Black Shogun] However, after Ace undoes Keiwa's wish and resets the world, Yukie along with the other revived DGP participants were promptly brought back to being dead. [Genesis VII: Where Wishes Go]
Personality
Yukie appeared to be cowardly and easily scared during the game, choosing to hide and stay away from the battle instead. Even after some encouragement to fight for her desire, she still chooses to run away from the battle, resulting in her demise.
Yukie also dresses in gothic lolita fashion.[1]

Entry Form consists of the following parts:
- Letter Head (レターヘッド, Retā Heddo): The head.
- Letter Crest Gear (レタークレストギア, Retā Kuresuto Gia): Letter's head-mounted device. It expands the player's head functions and protects the head with lightweight yet extremely strong composite armor. With a shape that symbolizes the Rider's crest on the ID Core, it also functions as a visual aid to increase Letter's visibility.
- Letter Horn (レターホーン, Retā Hōn): Letter's horns. The hard horns increase the head's defensive power and serve as a starting point for counterattacks.
- Letter Eye (レターアイ, Retā Ai): Letter's compound eyes. The visual information obtained here is transmitted via an internal display, protecting the player's eyes from intense light such as explosions that suddenly occur during a game.
- Audit Signal (オーディットシグナル, Ōditto Shigunaru): Letter's inspection device. By constantly monitoring the Kamen Rider's condition, it diagnoses the continuity of transformation based on operating efficiency, damage, etc., and cancels the transformation if necessary.
- Blank Crusher (ブランククラッシャー, Buranku Kurasshā): Letter's mouth section. The voice chat function enables clear conversations even with loud noise, allowing communication between Kamen Riders during cooperative play, etc.
- Desire Basic (デザイアベーシック, Dezaia Bēshikku): The suit-type gaming device. Using energy supplied from the Desire Driver, it raises the output of the player's physical abilities.
- Progressive Arm (プログレッシブアーム, Puroguresshibu Āmu): Entry Form's arms. They produce enough power to defeat the Jyamato by increasing the player's arm strength. Furthermore, various functions can be added by attaching expansion equipment.
- Entry Glove (エントリーグローブ, Entorī Gurōbu): Entry Form's gloves. They can be configured for high sensitivity to perform more delicate work than can be done with bare hands. They can also be customized with the features of various Raise Buckles.
- Progressive Leg (プログレッシブレッグ, Puroguresshibu Reggu): Entry Form's legs. They increase the player's leg strength to raise the game's survival rate. Furthermore, various functions can be added by attaching expansion equipment.

Behind the Scenes
Portrayals
Yukie Yaginuma is portrayed by Michi Ota (大田 路, Ōta Michi). As Kamen Rider Letter, her suit actress is Mutsumi Igarashi (五十嵐 睦美, Igarashi Mutsumi).
Etymology
- The Yagi (八木 ) in Yaginuma's family name is a homophone of the Japanese word for goat (ヤギ, Yagi), reflecting her Rider theme.
- Letter's name could be reference to the nursery rhyme "Yagi-san Yuubin" (やぎさんゆうびん ), in which two goats continuously eat letters sent to each other.
Notes
- Letter's helmet is repainted from Kamen Rider Mary, with the fur covering on the helmet removed. Because of this, there is evidentially a crack in the back of her helmet.
