Yuki Shirai (白井 ゆき, Shirai Yuki) is the director and editor in-chief of Biblio Utopia Publishing and Mei Sudo's boss. She was transformed into the Yeti Megid (イエティ・メギド, Ieti Megido) by Legeiel.

History

Yuki has been the superior of Mei, who sometimes has Mei to rush the publishment of Touma's novels. When Yuki suddenly able to see the Wonder World directly, she was being target by Legiel, inserting an empty Alter Ride Book in her body and forcibly become the Yeti Megid. While the Yeti Megid has been causing incidents of freezing people into ice. Touma has tried to stop Megid, but hesitates to slash it due to the existence of Yuki, while even stopping Yuri to finish the Megid. When the new Alter Ride Book is about to finish, which will cause Yuki to disappear forever, Touma finally takes the moment to destroy the book, releasing Yuki from the Megid. Touma and Yuri finally joins force to destroy the Megid, only knowing that Yuri is able to separate the host and the Megid with ease afterwards.

After the incident, Yuki has return to Touma's book store to ask about her unbelievable experience, but her memories related was then erased by Yuri.

When the world was erased by Storius, Yuki's existence is also erased and does not return even when Touma restored the world, but with Touma finishing the new novel, Yuki has successfully return.

Unlike other Megid, the Yeti Megid was created from a specially created blank Alter Ride Book being embedded in a human. Over time, the person's life force is used to develop the Alter Ride Book, and when it is completed, the host will disappear. However, if the Alter Ride Book is immediately destroyed after its completion, the human and Megid will be separated, allowing the Megid to be safely defeated.

Abilities

• Ice Breath: The Yeti Megid can generate and breathe out icy wind from its mouth that freezes everything in its path.
• Heat Stealing: The Yeti Megid can steal heat from the surrounding area, causing a local cooling effect. It can also freeze a person by directly touching them with its hand.

Portrayal

Yuki Shirai is portrayed by Hitomi Hasebe (長谷部 瞳, Hasabe Hitomi), who previously portrayed Mizuki Koishikawa in Ultraman Max and Lumina Igaguri in Ultraman Geed. As Yeti Megid, he’s voiced by Wataru Hatano (羽多野 渉, Hatano Wataru).

Etymology

• Same as the other Yuki Shirai, her name is pun on Snow White (白雪, Shirayuki).
• Yeti Megid is based on mythical creature of the same name.
