Yasuyuki Maekawa (前川泰之, Maekawa Yasuyuki) is a Japanese actor and former fashion model who portrayed Soichi Isurugi and Evolto's disguise as Soichi in Kamen Rider Build.
Biography[]
He began his entertainment career in 1993 where he was a fashion model for magazines. He had participated in many shows around the world such as New York, Paris, Tokyo, and Italy.
In 2005, he announced he had retired from modeling and took on an acting career, appearing in his first role in a drama series called Yume de Aimashou, where he played a CEO of an IT company.
In 2007, he made his film debut in Ore wa, Kimi no tameni koso Shini ni iku. Since then he has appeared in several dozens of films and television drams over the years.
In 2016, he portrayed Shinra in Ultraman Orb: The Origin Saga.
In 2017, he joined the cast of Kamen Rider Build. In 2018, he also appeared as a guest cast in the Japanese remake of Good Doctor.

- Maekawa has been married since 2007. He has two children, a daughter born in 2007 and a son born in 2011.
- Maekawa's watched both Kamen Rider (Skyrider) and Kamen Rider Stronger as a child.

- Maekawa was secretly notified of Soichi's true nature as Evolto very early into production, so he acted to portray that until the show had reached to that point. Additionally, Maekawa stated that his transformation pose for Evol is meant to emphasize Evolto's dominance over the universe.[1]
