Yasushi Kudo (工藤 康, Kudō Yasushi) was a corrupt lawyer and former contract holder of the Kangaroo Deadman. He later joined the Deadmans and became the Sabertiger Deadman (サーベルタイガー・デッドマン, Sāberutaigā Deddoman) before being absorbed by Giff.

Background[]
Yasushi Kudo was a mediocre attorney who was struggling due to not winning cases. As a result, he turned to the Deadmans, who gave him the Kangaroo Proto Vistamp. Kudo then began using the Kangaroo Deadman to intimidate witnesses so they would not show up in court, resulting in a lack of evidence to convict Kudo's clients.
The Deadmans Crisis[]
When Kudo defends the perpetrator of a car accident in a retrial, the victim's sister asks Ikki Igarashi to investigate. Ikki confronts Kudo in his office, and Vice confirms that he has the Kangaroo Proto Vistamp in a safe. However, Kudo refuses to open it and insists that Ikki has no evidence of any wrongdoing. Later, as the judge is about to deliver the verdict, Ikki storms into the courtroom and shows a video of Kudo intimidating a witness with the Kangaroo Deadman. The footage was acquired by Vice observing the time of their meeting earlier in Kudo's office, then Ikki stamping the witness' cellphone beforehand so Vice could possess it. Out of anger, Kudo summons the Kangaroo Deadman, which battles Kamen Rider Revice. When the Deadman is destroyed, Kudo gives the Vistamp to the judge. The judge, who is revealed to be a member of the Deadmans, lies to Ikki, telling him that the victim of the accident took it. However, Ikki figures out their scheme with the help of Vice and confronts both men in Kudo's office. After Ikki subdues the judge, Kudo gives up his Vistamp. When Ikki asks why he cheated, Kudo responds that hard work doesn't pay off.

Kudo was imprisoned in Fenix Skybase for rehabilitation. Due to having high potential as a sacrifice, he is freed by Amahiko Haitani and the Chameleon Deadman and leaves along with them and Aguilera. After having the details of the Gifftex selection ritual is explained to him, Kudo agrees to be a sacrifice if he can first get his revenge on Ikki. He is given the Sabertiger Proto Vistamp by Orteca and heads to Happy Spa. Upon arriving, he roughly grabs Genta Igarashi and asks where Ikki is. After finding him in the bath area, he transforms into the Sabertiger Deadman Phase 2 and fights Kamen Rider Revice. During the fight, Kudo reiterates what he said about hard work not paying off and explains that is why he turned to the Deadmans. When Ikki assumes that he was greedy, Kudo rebuffs him and says that he did it simply to win, explaining that he worked hard to become a lawyer but always lost in court. He then calls Ikki an egoist and accuses him of interfering in people's lives without thinking of the consequences. Ikki is affected by his words and begins to falter, but is reassured by Vice. With renewed confidence, Kamen Rider Revi defeats the Sabertiger Deadman and Kudo is retrieved by Orteca.
Back at Deadmans Base, Haitani, Kudo, and the Chameleon Deadman undergo the selection ritual and successfully become Gifftex. Kudo later takes part in the ritual to sacrifice Aguilera in order to revive Giff. However, the Kamen Riders invaded the base and intervened, putting a stop to the Deadmans' operations. When the Igarashi siblings employed a Triple Rider Kick on the Sabertiger Deadman and Planarian Deadman, both Kudo and Amahiko Haitani became particles of light and were absorbed by Giff due to his ties with the ritual.
Personality[]
Yasushi Kudo feels humiliated after being defeated by Ikki and subsequently imprisoned, during his time in prison he developed an enormous hatred for Ikki Igarashi and vowed revenge on him.
After being freed by the Deadmans, he decided to become a Gifftex and serve as a sacrifice to awaken Giff, however, before that he wants to destroy everything Ikki loves.

The Sabertiger Deadman and its host have been united by a higher contract. The host has gained immense power in exchange for the risk of not being able to return to human form. He has two sharp fangs that extend to both hands as well as a keen and agile fighting style. In addition, it is possible to bewilder the target using the huge eyeball in the oral cavity, which disturbs the attack trajectory of the opponent. Initially, Kudo fused with his inner devil indefinitely to transform into the Sabertiger Deadman Phase 2 (サーベルタイガー・デッドマン フェーズ2, Sāberutaigā Deddoman Fēzu 2). After becoming a Gifftex, Kudo could use the Sabertiger Proto Vistamp to transform into the Sabertiger Deadman Phase 3 (サーベルタイガー・デッドマン フェーズ3, Sāberutaigā Deddoman Fēzu 3) and return to his human form at will.

- Enhanced Speed: The Sabertiger Deadman can move at blindingly fast speeds, allowing him to destroy numerous projectiles in midair.

- Giff: Although he doesn't know what Giff's goals are, Yasushi decided to volunteer to serve as a sacrifice for Giff's awakening.
- Orteca: Mainly responsible for giving him both the Kangaroo and Sabertiger Proto Vistamps.
- Chameleon Deadman: Thanks to the Chameleon Deadman, the Deadmans were able to break into the Fenix base and liberate him from prison.
- Kangaroo Deadman: Yasushi Kudo's original Deadman. He used the Deadman to threaten others and win in court. After the Kangaroo Proto Vistamp was taken by Fenix, Yasushi lost the ability to summon it.
Enemies[]
- Ikki Igarashi: His biggest enemy, who was responsible for his arrest. Yasushi feels humiliated by Ikki and will try to make sure Ikki take back his words spoken to him during his first defeat. Ikki told Yasushi that hard work triumphs over everything, something Yasushi completely disagreed with. In Yasushi's view, Ikki is an egoist who pretends to be a hero while not empathizing with anyone and minding trying to redeem the villains he defeats.

- Kudo using the Kangaroo Vistamp to rig his courtroom cases is a literal play on “kangaroo court”, a legal term for an unfair and biased selection of judge and/or jurors specifically made to attack or rig a verdict for or against the accused.
- Kudo is the first contract holder of two different Deadmen.
- The Sabertiger Deadman's legs are reused from the Phase 2 Kong Deadman, and the hands are reused from the Phase 2 Cheetah Deadman.
