The World of Possibilities (可能性の世界, Kanōsei no Sekai)[1] is an alternate timeline in which a version of Gaim and Baron battle each other for the Forbidden Fruit.
History[]
This timeline was observed by both Mai Takatsukasa, who became the Woman of the Beginning towards the end of the series, and the consciousness of the Helheim Forest, "DJ Sagara". After Mai was "killed" by Ryoma Sengoku and awoke as a god, she interfered with the timeline by visiting Kouta, Kaito, and Mitsuzane on the days they had first transformed in an attempt to circumvent their tragic fates (Kouta and Kaito becoming Overlords, and Mitsuzane's dark path). However by doing so, her powers destabilized and sent her into this particular timeline, becoming unable to return to her own timeline until a victor had been decided between Gaim and Baron in both timelines.
