What Created MetsubouJinrai? (ナニが滅亡迅雷を創ったのか？, Nani ga MetsubōJinrai o Tsukutta no ka?) is the 35.5th episode of Kamen Rider Zero-One. It is a special episode that formally marks the end of the HIDEN Manufacturing arc that started at Episode 30. It features the debut of the Ark's messenger As, and the Ark-One Progrisekey.

Synopsis

The Humagear Azu, claiming to be the secretary of the Ark, has suddenly appeared at MetsubouJinrai.net's ruined headquarters! Her appearance is similar to that of the Secretary-Type Humagear Izu, but the module on her head is glowing red! Azu starts by saying "I will now commence a Singularity test", and goes on to say that all four members of MetsubouJinrai.net are needed in order to completely restore the Ark! After everything has all been said and done, Azu reveals a particular Progrisekey and shows it to the terrorists...!

• While this episode is still mainly a recap episode, this is the first to feature any newly filmed scenes following the show's hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In place, a series of recap episodes were produced and aired to fill broadcast time.
  • No more than two actors are on-screen in each scene throughout this episode. This is due to the strict pandemic guidelines being placed during filming, which were initiated not long after Japan lifted its state of emergency protocol.
  • This is also the only episode not definitely feature Aruto, as his only appearance outside of flashbacks is via a simulation the Ark created to find Jin's Singularity Point.
• Kamen Rider Zero-One is the second series after Kamen Rider Kuuga to have a "half" episode, with Kuuga's being Episode 46.5.
