Weakness Is Strength!? The Invincible Jeanne! (弱さは強さ!?無敵のジャンヌ!, Yowasa wa Tsuyosa!? Muteki no Jan'nu!) is the twelfth episode of Kamen Rider Revice. It features the debut of Kamen Rider Jeanne and her partner Lovekov.
Synopsis[]
Sakura's pride, in which she believed in for so long, has just been shattered. Just after her brothers became determined to put a stop to Seiko's transgressions, the Driver Sakura was given doesn't activate. Ikki is injured while trying to protect Sakura, and although Daiji blames her for being so reckless, Ikki uses this opportunity to get closer to Sakura. Shocked and hurt by Daiji's words, Sakura lashes out without listening to what Ikki has to say. Just what is missing from Sakura in order for her to transform? But there's no time to find out, as Amahiko Haitani, the man manipulating Seiko's emotions, attacks the city once again using the Planarian Vistamp.
Plot[]
As Sakura laments over her broken pride, George is immediately taken back on the sudden appearance of a Driver that he is seemingly familiar with. Ikki gets back on his feet and helps Daiji finish the fight with the Deadman, and Dr. Haitani simply laughs it off hoping to make another. When Daiji picks up the leftover Vistamp, it shatters and a second Planarian Deadman appears, taking Seiko with it. Later, Daiji berates Sakura for screwing up the fight and asks her to surrender her Driver, yet Sakura refuses saying she needs it to become "invincible" because she wants to help her two brothers. When Sakura tries to leave, Vice detects a inner demon coming out of her.
Daiji returns to the Fenix Skybase to apologize for Sakura's actions, but George wants to know why she had a Driver that he clearly destroyed. With Yujiro attemping to putting everyone back on focus, Dr. Haitani formally joins the Deadmans and demonstrates his ability to mass-replicate his Vistamp, a feat that Hiromi is able to deduce. Yujiro then orders everyone to track down Dr. Haitani.
At home, Genta and Yukimi notice Ikki's lack of apparent appetite, which he later admits that he has been worried about Sakura and later goes out to find her. Meanwhile as Sakura is contemplating, she is approached by Aguilera who continues to try to recruit Sakura into the Deadmans after witnessing her failed transformation. She promises happiness, one that came from when she first joined as an infant and gets angry when Sakura tries to invalidate that. As she leaves, she leaves Sakura to wonder how much power is needed in the weight of words.
The Planarian Deadman attacks again and Fenix is dispatched to deal with the larger-than-usual incident. Telling Daiji that he wanted to be the hero that never came in his childhood, Hiromi and him transform into battle. Sakura sits atop at their childhood playground and is met with Ikki who tells her how dangerous actual combat is. As Sakura still wants to help her loved ones, Ikki tells her that she has to be strong, not say that she is. As Ikki leaves, he tells her to drop her tough act and returns to the battlefield to help Daiji after Hiromi gets knocked out.
Sakura returns to her Karate dojo and attempts to transform again, later realizing on-the-spot after several failed attemps that she's always been weak and begins to sob. From that moment, her inner demon began to materialize. Coming to a realization, she joins everyone on the battlefield and apologies to her brothers for not realizing it earlier. With her newfound resolve, she successfully transforms into Kamen Rider Jeanne, surprising everyone. Mid-battle, her inner demon Lovekov materializes and Vice is tasked with protecting her. Jeanne makes quick work of the Giff Juniors and performs her Cobra Stamping Smash on Seiko, voiding her contract. As Sakura de-transforms, she spots Dr. Haitani from afar, recognizing him as the doctor who helped Seiko before. As Seiko is taken away by Fenix, Sakura tells her not to give up, as Ryo hasn't. That evening, Sakura formally joins her brothers as fellow Kamen Riders while Vice and Lovekov bond.
