Notes[]

  • This series contains many references to other anime/tokusatsu shows:
    • The large text Great Teacher Atropos that appears in the trailer when Atropos is shown, is a reference to title of Great Teacher Onizuka with the first three letters of the title GTO being the common abbreviation of the show smilar to Great Teacher Atropos.
    • Atropos' phrase "The appearance of a child, the brains of an adult" (見た目は子供、頭脳は大人, Mitame wa kodomo, zunou wa otona), and "There is always only one truth! " (真実はいつもひとつ!, Shinjitsu wa itsumo hitotsu!) used to introduce herself in a brief part of the episode is a reference to Conan Edogawa's famous quotes from Detective Conan. While her quote "Next episode will have service, service" (次回もサービスサービス, Jikai mo Sābisu, Sābisu) used for next episode preview is a reference to Neon Genesis Evangelion, most known for Misato Katsuragi's decisive line in the next episode preview. Kajiki interrupt Atropos before she could continue the quote.

    • The book title that Minato is constantly reading is "The Fog Is Coming, Again" (霧が来る、再び, Kiri ga kuru, futatabi), the former part of the title is directly taken from the episode 22 of Ultraman TigaIcon-crosswiki, The Fog Is Coming.
