Warptera was one of 101 Chemies that were sealed into Ride Chemy Cards.

Warptera's card was left in the Ouroboros Realm while Hopper1 and Steamliner were sent by Fuga Kudo to find the person chosen by fate. Warptera was unsealed from its Ride Chemy Card and was now on the loose.[Gotcha! Hopper1!]
