Tsukuyomi (ツクヨミ, Tsukuyomi) is a ZX-like white metallic follower who serves the golden god Susanoo, among the three gods who promoted the creation of humankind on the ancient Earth.
History[]
Formerly JUDO's comrade, he awakened to his affection for humans and decided to protect humanity, betraying JUDO and Amaterasu. After that, he destroyed Amaterasu and imprisoned JUDO in Prison of Nothingness by sacrificing his own body. Tsukuyomi can't help himself because he doesn't have a physical body (after trying all of his efforts to sealing JUDO, can only use telepathy when in contact with Ryo/ZX and used vision projections in Prison of Nothingness), but also provides indirect support, such as activate the Magical Portal when ZX returns from the moon. He wishes for the freedom and peace of mankind, and is quietly watching over it.
Notes[]
- Along with Susanoo and Amaterasu, his 'Rider' name "Tsukuyomi" is based on the Japanese mythological deity of the same name.
- In the manga, Tsukuyomi is also known as the ancestral existence of humankind.
- According to JUDO's evidence, the Space-time Magical Portal used by BADAN was originally Tsukuyomi's ability.
