Towards Our Dream (オレとワタシの夢に向かって, Ore to Watashi no Yume ni Mukatte)[1] is the fortieth episode of Kamen Rider Zero-One. It features the debut of Kamen Rider Zero-Two.
Synopsis[]
Satellite There, the intelligence behind Zero-One, has been taken over and the Zero-One driver has been stolen by the Ark! Having been driven into a corner, even Jin who had made it his mission to take down the Ark now feels hopeless. But Aruto hasn’t given up. He proposes a new Kamen Rider concept and sets out to implement it. However, Kamen Rider Ark-Zero appears before Aruto’s eyes and ruthlessly strikes Aruto with a fatal blow…

- While filming scenes where Is cries, Noa Tsurushima embraced method acting to capture the emotional depth of Is mourning Aruto. This worked too well and the entire crew had to take a break because Tsurushima couldn't stop crying.[2]
- Kamen Rider Zero-Two marks the first time a Final Form debuted in the 40s episode range without prior appearances of any kind.
- Although Kamen Rider Kuuga Ultimate Form debuted in episode 48, the form had been teased through Yusuke's visions in episodes 35 & 47.
- In the previous season, Kamen Rider GrandZi-O had a brief cameo at the beginning of episode 39, before its full transformation in 40.
- In Aruto notes, there were several concept names for Zero-Two, each being an homage to a previous Rider:
