This article is about a former Rider in Kamen Rider Geats. |
Toru Imai (今井 透, Imai Tōru) was Michinaga Azuma's best friend who was a participant in a previous Desire Grand Prix as Kamen Rider Togetchi (仮面ライダートゲッチ, Kamen Raidā Togetchi).
He was later impersonated by the Knight Jyamato (ナイトジャマト, Naito Jamato) during the Jyamato Grand Prix, who took Toru's personality, memories, and appearance for his own.
History[]
Background[]
Toru Imai was the best friend of Michinaga Azuma. During his time in high school, he and Michinaga often got into street fights before their 'Boss' got them jobs as construction workers. One of these fights also leads to him gaining a scar on his hand.
He was later selected to participate in the Desire Grand Prix, and desired to build a landmark in his hometown. In one of the rounds, Toru was assaulted by two unknown Kamen Riders after his Zombie Buckle, before being fatally wounded by two Pawn Jyamato. Toru was held by Michinaga in his arms before he was eliminated in the game.

His Rider Core ID was later collected by Archimedel and fed to premature Jyamato, one that would grow and gain Toru's memories and personality.
Toru would later be revived offscreen by Keiwa Sakurai, though the former's whereabouts remain unknown.[Genesis III: The Jet-Black Shogun]
Personality[]
Although much is not known about Toru, he is shown to be a confident and positive man, desiring to build a huge landmark in his hometown. As noted by Michinaga Azuma, Toru is also afraid of heights, though Toru stated that he would get over it.
