Tomoyuki Dan (檀 臣幸, Dan Tomoyuki) was a Japanese actor who portrayed Shinkuro Isaka/Weather Dopant in Kamen Rider W. He was also a voice actor, having voiced roles in anime such as Cronicle Asher in Mobile Suit Victory Gundam and Kisame Hoshigaki in the Naruto series.
Dan passed away in 2013 from a relapse of aortic dissection.
Biography[]
Dan attended Kwansei Gakuin University and planned to major in Economics, but dropped out to pursue acting.
Death[]
On October 10, 2013, Dan died in his home in Tokyo from a relapse of aortic dissection at the age of 51.[1] Up until that point, he had not had any complications in his physical condition. In response to his sudden death, many of his co-stars and staff expressed their condolences, while Dan's funeral was held at Saisho-ji Temple in Shinjuku.[2]
