The Terrifying Cobra Man (恐怖コブラ男, Kyōfu Kobura Otoko), is the ninth episode of the original Kamen Rider series. It is the first part of the Cobra Man arc.
Synopsis[]
During a robbery Cobra Man loses his special fangs which enable his deadliest weapon. Since they would take months to replace, he goes after the guard dog that stole them.
Plot[]
At a Shocker base a Shocker Combatmen brings Cobra Man his fangs. The Great Leader's plan was to use Cobra man's powerful venom to steal all the gold in the world, their first target was Japan's Gold depository.
A security guard named Kondou that guards the gold depository, that also lives their retires for the night. Cobra Man managed to infiltrate the gold depository but was interrupted by Damii, the pet dog of Kondou's son.
Takeshi goes to Snack Amigo to take about the involvement of Shocker with the break-in at the gold depository, Ruriko gives Takeshi a pendent with a good luck charm inside.
Kondou goes back to his room to find it ransacked, he comes face to face with Cobra Man. Cobra Man demands to be told were the dog that stole his fangs are, Kondou tells Cobra Man that the dog is dead.
Kondou's son Takehiko was praying at Damii's grave, afterword he was abducted by Cobra Man. Takeshi heard the son's cries for and turned into Kamen Rider, Rider fallowed Shock to an abandoned building where he battled Cobra Man.
Rider used his superior hearing abilities to fallow Cobra Man back to his base, where he was questioning Takehiko about the location of his missing fangs. Cobra Man was interrupted when was alerted to the arrival of the Kamen Rider.
Rider arrives at Cobra Man base and battle Shocker, Cobra Man took Takehiko hostage and forced Rider to surrender. Tobee used the tracing device that had a hidden inside the pendent Takeshi received from Ruriko.
Rider is retrained in a Shockers base and being prepped to undergo brain remodeling; Cobra Man enters with Takehiko in tow and reports the child know nothing about his missing fangs.
Tobee busted into Shockers base and freed Takehiko, the pair escapes the base with Takehiko as the base self-destructs. Rider hands Takeshiko to Tobee as he battles their pursuers.
Rider batted Cobra Man and defeated him with his Rider Kick. Rider leaves a bocca of flowers at Damii grave, retrieving Cobra Mans fangs, He leaves before being spotted by Takeshiko who leaves his own bocca for Damii.
