The Shinigami Chameleon (死神カメレオン, Shinigami Kamereon), is the sixth episode of the original Kamen Rider series.

Synopsis[]

Former navy lieutenant-commander Sunada is attacked by the Shinigami Chameleon. His aim is a submarine model in Sunada's possession that has secrets relating to a Nazi treasure concealed inside.

Plot[]

Shinigami Chameleon sneaks into the Sunada art Gallery and surprises Sunada Tatsuo, a former Major in the Japanese Navy by painting the German Swastika on the wall.

Shinigami demanded to know where the hidden Nazi secrets are. Shocker knows that only Sunada is the only one left who knows where it is, he Threatening to kill both him and his daughter if he talks.

Shinigami strangles the man unconcise and walks outside while invisible. Three of Rider friends see a stubbing man and try's help him only to be push back by an invisibly force, they are shocked to see two shadows coming from the man.

They burst into the Snack Amigo find Takeshi and Tobee, telling what they say. Tobee was in disbelief while Takeshi went to check it out, he could hear Shinigami dragging Sunada away.

Sunada's daughter Yumi is making his father a gift on her hospital bed, when Shinigami barges into the room with Sunada and Shocker Combatmen. Sunada wakes up and Shinigami tells the Combatmen to torment Yumi entail Sunada speaks.

Sunada was given a choice between his daughter's life or the Nazi secret, it was hidden inside a submarine model near Yumi's bed. Takeshi arrives seizing the model and defeating the Combatmen, Shinigami escapes with Sunada it tow.

Takeshi comforts Yumi and promises to get her father back. at Snack Amigo Takeshi and Tobee were going over the model, they find a hidden map of the upper stream of the Tama River.

Takeshi fallowed that map to a dam construction side, a blast from the side reveled a cave opening. the workers went into the cave but were scared off, Takeshi entered the cave and came out with an iron box with the Nazi Swastika emblem.

As Takeshi was wondering the link between the Nazi's and Shocker, he was pincer attacked. Shinigami watched on as Rider defeated the Combatmen while looking for Rider's weakness.

Shocker scientists go over the capabilities of the Rider to determine his weakness, they determine that his weakness is to stop the pinwheel dynamo. Along with imprisoning him in a meter wide room.

Takeshi takes the iron box to Jouna University and leaves it with his friend Professor Abe Naoki. Takeshi and Ruriko tries to take a taxi, but they fall into a trap the driver was actuality Shinigami in disguise.

Takeshi and Ruriko were tied up and left of train tracks, Takeshi frees himself and rescues Rurik from the speeding train. Tobee and Shirou they would remain at Jouna University to guard the iron box.

Shirou gets jumped by Shinigami, Tobee tried to defend the iron box from Shinigami but failed. Takeshi disguised himself as one of combat men and infiltrates their base at Lake Biwa.

The Great Leader calls Professor Heinrich to open the box, Heinrich explain that that the only way to open the box is with the same electromagnetic wave that emitted by the box.

The Great Leader tells Shinigami that he also brought Takeshi Hongo, the Kamen Rider into their base. It ends with Takeshi falling down a tunnel while transforming into a Kamen Rider.
