Terror of the Carnivorous Fauna!! (人喰い植物 バショウガンの恐怖!!, Hitokui Shokubutsu Bashōgan no Kyōfu!!) is the thirty-ninth episode of Kamen Rider V3.

Synopsis[]

Archbishop Wing plans to use the poison of the inhuman Plantaingan, combined with 30,000 volts of electricity, to create miniaturized people preserved for use in creating cyborgs. The mutant kidnaps a young boy's sister and Kazami Shiro must fight in order to save her. Plantaingan attacks Rider Scouts HQ to liquidate a captured Destron Soldier and threatens Tachibana Tobee and Company. Can V3 liberate them from the tendrils of death?

Notes[]

  • This episode aired on NET alongside episode 26 of Kikaider 01, Deathmatch of the South Era!! Zadam: ESP Demonstration.
  • This episode has some similarities with the original series episode, The Man-Eating Sarracenian:
    • The carnivorous plant monster disguises itself as a normal plant in the park.
    • The carnivorous plant monster kidnaps an orphan boy and his sister using a vine whip and is missing from its original place.
    • The Rider is given a precious toy by the orphan boy as a promise to find his sister.
    • The orphan boy's sister witnesses an experiment on someone by an evil organization where the victim is killed when they tried to turned him into a cyborg.
    • The plant monster kills the combatants who are interrogated and captured by the Rider.
    • After the monster is defeated and the orphan boy's sister returned, the Rider returned the orphan boy's toy, but in this episode, the toy is not broken.
  • In 1000, the Movie, and the Combatmen, commemorating Kamen Rider 999th episode, this episode was marked red instead of black, in In Sendo's room. This is because it is recognized a great day for Shocker.
