Tatsuhiko Tabuchi (田淵 竜彦, Tabuchi Tatsuhiko) is a former Fenix and current Blue Bird captain who is an old classmate and friend of Hiromi Kadota.

History

Background

Tatsuhiko Tabuchi enrolled into Fenix and underwent its cadet training program with Chigusa Yamagiri and Hiromi Kadota, where the three trained under Yujiro Wakabayashi. After graduation, Tatsuhiko eventually worked his way up and earned the rank of Captain.

As a Captain

Sometime after Yujiro's death, Tatsuhiko visited his grave with Hiromi and Chigusa, and later yelled at Hiromi for being unable to protect Yujiro and not realizing that the Chameleon Deadman had impersonated him.

Later, Tatsuhiko is told by Ikki Igarashi that he had learned of Chigusa's undercover status from Chigusa herself. Not knowing or understanding why Chigusa would tell Ikki that, Tatsuhiko ignored it and told Ikki that he would handle it. Afterwards, Tatsuhiko and Hiromi await their meeting with Chigusa. However Hiromi is suspicious of the events that had occurred and suspected Tatsuhiko for treason. They are then ambushed by Chigusa and realize it was a trap to lure Hiromi there for his Demons Driver. As Tatsuhiko is attacked and held hostage by both Chigusa and Orteca, Ikki and Vice arrive and rescue him.

After Ikki revealed his reasoning as to why he knew Chigusa was a traitor, Hiromi apologized to Tatsuhiko for suspecting him in the first place. Tatsuhiko confessed that it was his way of trying to protect Hiromi and stop him from using the Demons Driver as he knew what its side-effects were. Tatsuhiko is later taken away by a stretcher by other Fenix operatives.

Sometime after Hideo Akaishi made himself known to the world as Giff's servant, Tatsuhiko worked with Hiromi to evacuate the rehabilitation patients at Fenix before the Fenix Skybase crashed. Sometime after Giff was defeated, Tatsuhiko joined Blue Bird.
