Takaya Yamaguchi (山口 貴也, Yamaguchi Takaya) is a Japanese actor and model who portrays Rintaro Shindo/Kamen Rider Blades in Kamen Rider Saber.
Biography[]
Yamaguchi was scouted by Stardust Promotion while he was still in middle school, but declined at the time. After graduating from college, he re-accepted Stardust Promotion's offer and debuted as a model.
Personal life[]
- Yamaguchi was three when the Heisei era began, and watched Kamen Rider Kuuga, Agito, and Ryuki.[1] His favorite Riders are Kamen Rider G3 and Kamen Rider Knight.[2]
- Yamaguchi created Rintaro's transformation pose with Blades' suit actor Eitoku and stated that it was inspired by Kamen Rider Knight's usage of the Darkvisor. [3]
- Yamaguchi has been a huge fan of Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, the theme song performers for Saber, since he was a student as their songs got him through hard and difficult times.[4]
