Taiga Hanaya

Template:Characterinfo Taiga Hanaya (花家 大我, Hanaya Taiga) is Kamen Rider Snipe (仮面ライダースナイプ, Kamen Raidā Sunaipu), a tertiary Rider who will appear in Kamen Rider Ex-Aid. He is an unlicensed doctor who collects Gashats for an unknown purpose. Also known as the "Doctor of Darkness" (闇のドクター, Yami no Dokutā).

Shooting Gamer LV1

Shooting Gamer LV1 (シューティングゲーマーレベル1, Shūtingu Gēmā Reberu Wan, lit. "Shooting Gamer Level One") is Snipe's default super deformed form, activated by inserting the BangBang Shooting Gashat into the Gamer Driver. This form is used into enter a Bugster-infected human and extract the monster from the host.

Shooting Gamer LV2 (シューティングゲーマーレベル2, Shūtingu Gēmā Reberu Tsū, lit. "Shooting Gamer Level Two") is Snipe's primary sniper form, activated by inserting the BangBang Shooting Gashat and pulling the lever on the Gamer Driver. This form is based on FPS (first-person shooter) games.

Portrayal

• Taiga Hanaya is portrayed by Ukyo Matsumoto (松本 享恭, Matsumoto Ukyō). As Kamen Rider Snipe, his suit actor is Satoshi Fujita (藤田 慧, Fujita Satoshi) in LV1 and Eitoku (永徳, Eitoku) in LV2.

Notes

• Snipe has the letters STG on his helmet, this is a reference to an abbreviated term for Shoot em' up games aka Shmups. This also alludes to his Level 3 form as it is themed after airplanes/ships from air/space combat shoot 'em ups such as Gradius.
• Taiga's white highlights in his hair resembles that of Black Jack, a famous fictional doctor from a manga of the same name written by Osamu Tezuka. Much like the character, Taiga is an unlicensed doctor.
  • Being an unlicensed doctor, he is also similar to Kaoru Kino from Kamen Rider Agito.
