An example of a fansub

A fansub (ファンサブ, fan sabu) is a fan-made production of translated text subtitles synchronized with foreign audio-dialogue in a television episode or film. Fansubs exist due to the inaccessibility of home video releases of foreign properties in certain parts of the world, thus fans sometimes resort to obtaining it through other means due to the lack of legal alternatives. Fansubbing has been around for decades, as Japanese home video collections of shows were limited, expensive, and often inaccessible to foreign fans. In the 1980s and 1990s, it was primarily done with VCR equipment, but technological advancements since then now allow it to be done solely through the internet and online software, also attributing to the better ease of obtaining said material.

Many entries in the Kamen Rider Series, such as episodes and films, have been fan-subbed by various groups so that anyone is able to enjoy them. This page will serve as a list of the fansub groups, and links to their sites.

Please keep in mind that it is against FANDOM policies to link directly to torrents, downloads, or uploads to copyrighted material unless made official from sources such as Crunchyroll, Toei's Youtube channel, etc.

For Wiki documentation purposes, we use fansubs out of a necessity to obtain information from content within the episodes and films through screen-captures. If or when an official release does occur in your country, please consider supporting it by streaming or purchasing it to facilitate a future incentive for licensees to obtain more content.
