A sponsor spot refers to the short sequence which occurs after the opening sequence of an episode of a Kamen Rider Series, and at the end of the episode after the preview for the next episode. Sponsor spots have become common during the Heisei era.

Generally, the opening sponsor spot consists of clips from the episode, while the closing sponsor shot consists of clips from the next episode. However, in the periods when the show is promoting a Kamen Rider movie, along with clips from the movie being used in the opening credits, the sponsor spot shows clips from the movie as well.

Since Kamen Rider Decade, home video releases started including versions of the sponsor spots altered to remove the announcer voice and any overlays while leaving the underlying clips intact. Prior to this point, they were completely excluded from home releases.

The sponsor spots of Kamen Rider Ex-Aid in the later episodes are unique such that the clips shown are incorporated into the episode's plot through one way or another.

The core sponsor of the series is Bandai, which makes the merchandise for the franchise and as of 2007, owns a 50% stake of Ishimori Productions. Other consistent sponsors are Marudai Foods, McDonald’s from 2010 to the present, and Honda which provides the vehicles for the shows.
