Sougo Tokiwa (常磐ソウゴ, Tokiwa Sōgo), alternatively spelt Sogo Tokiwa, is the main protagonist of Kamen Rider Zi-O. He is an 18-year-old (19 as of Episode 34) high school student (graduated as of Episode 29) who is inspired to become a great king through kindness by becoming Kamen Rider Zi-O (仮面ライダージオウ, Kamen Raidā Jiō). Throughout the series, Geiz Myokoin, Tsukuyomi, and Black Woz arrive from 50 years in the future in an attempt to guide Sougo away from his apocalyptic destiny of becoming Ohma Zi-O, while facing other temporal obstacles in their way.

In Zi-O VS Decade, he is nicknamed Sougo A (ソウゴ A, Sōgo Eī) to differentiate himself from his counterparts.

History

Sougo Tokiwa was born on April 28, 2000, as the only son of Sotaro and Namie Tokiwa. At some point in his childhood, Sougo was riding a bike at a park with his parents. He proclaims to them that he would become a king, with his teenaged-self looking back at this event during the Quartzer incident.

On April 24, 2009, just 4 days before his ninth birthday, Sougo and his parents were involved in an bus accident caused by Swartz, who teleports the children to safety before the bus explodes inside a tunnel, killing the adults. Sougo and the children awoke in an alternate timeline where a city was under attack by several Dai Mazines. Sougo attempted to save Hiryu Kakogawa from a Dai Mazine using his unconscious temporal abilities, not knowing he was being assisted nearby by his original counterpart. Realizing the potential in Sougo, Swartz modified his memories, which Sougo would recall his memory as a dream. After being returned to the bus crash site, Sougo (and Hiryu) would be admitted into a hospital where he would eventually move in with his grand-uncle, Junichiro Tokiwa after his discharge.

Since the incident, Sougo has had a strong belief that he could become a king, much to the chagrin of those around him. According to his uncle, this was so serious that Sougo did not have friends growing up, and was lonely for most of his childhood. During his elementary school years, he became quick friends with Tsutomu Tsuzumiya due to their seemingly "absurd" dreams together. At one point, Sougo was playing at a park; however, he had gotten hurt and no one helped him. An unnamed high schooler who he would later affectionally call "Miss Sailor" came and bandaged him up before offering to play with him. Later as they departed, Sougo became infatuated with her after she called him a cute boy.

During his teens, he attended Hikarigamori High School, excelling in history but poor in physics.

The Birth of Zi-O

One day, Sougo found a mysterious watch-like item that was on the seat of his bicycle, but left it elsewhere. While bicycling down a small street, he was visted by a Woz, a hooded man holding a grimoire, warning him to avoid the "red robot" before mysteriously disappearing. He does encounter the red robot shortly after, being hunted down by Geiz Myokoin, only to be saved by Tsukuyomi. Sougo was taken across different points in time with the Time Mazine and discovered his future of becoming the evil demonic king who will reign over the future, Ohma Zi-O. Despite returning to the present, Sougo decided to not forsake his dreams of becoming king and sought to become Kamen Rider Zi-O to avert his future and become the "greatest and kindest demon king" instead.

While travelling through time with Tsukuyomi, he was accidentally displaced in an alternate 2017 where he met Sento Kiryu (Build) and Ryuga Banjo (Cross-Z). However, when Sougo encounters Another Build attacking in the present, he travels back in time with Geiz and team-up with Build and Cross-Z to take down Another Build using the Build Ridewatch given to the Sento from the present. Although they succeeded defeating Another Build, the actual Kamen Rider Build's history was erased. Since then, Geiz and Tsukuyomi moved in with him in order to keep an eye on him.

Sougo attempted to get to know Geiz and Tsukuyomi while they were in 2018, with him easily getting along with Tsukuyomi but has a hostile relationship with Geiz, due to the harsh conditions of living in Ohma Zi-O's reign. After an encounter with Another Ex-Aid, the trio go to a hospital to figure out the Another Rider's "unsolveable" game and had help with the doctor Hiiro Kagami. After an encounter with Emu Hojo, Sougo traveled to the past and took down the Another Ex-Aid from 2016 using the Ex-Aid Ridewatch.

When learning several high school girls are missing, Sougo, Tsukuyomi, and Geiz infiltrate Amanogawa High School to invesigate the missing girls and finds Another Fourze attacking a girl. After meeting with the Kamen Rider Club where the club's interim advisor, Chuta Ohsugi passes Sougo the Fourze Ridewatch, Sougo uses it to take down Another Fourze, only to find out that he had another form underneath, that of Another Faiz.

With Another Fourze also possessing the powers of Another Faiz, Takumi Inui appears to stop Masato Kusaka and help Sougo investigate the case of dissappearing Libra female high school students. As they continue searching for answers behind the mystery of Another Fourze/Faiz's target Karin Yamabuki, they discover a connection with the Ryusei School. Sougo sends Geiz in 2003 to beat Another Faiz and defeat the Another Rider once and for all. At the current time, Sougo also manages to defeat Another Fourze.

During a magic show, Sougo encounters the idenity of Another Wizard, Hayase, and starts to feel compassionate towards him, despite Geiz's objections. Sougo began to recognize the Another Rider hosts were simply victims of circumstance who wanted to right their wrongs and believed deep down Hayase wasn't really a bad guy. After defeating Another Wizard, Sougo helped Hayase with his personal issues by connecting him with his past self.

Back in present day 2018, Kuroto Dan, the head of the Dan Foundation, established his own country, dubbing himself 'King Kuroto Dan', after accepting a deal from Heure in eight years ago to become Another OOO. While Geiz goes to investigate the year 2016, Sougo decides to go a different route and a member of Kuroto's army. Later on, Sougo met Eiji Hino, the Kamen Rider OOO in the previous timeline, who had become a politician and was imprisoned by Kuroto. Eiji gave Sougo the OOO Ridewatch and used it to defeat Another OOO.

While Sougo was facing Another Gaim in 2013 to save Geiz from the Helheim Forest, he managed to take him down. However, Kouta Kazuraba pulled him into an alternate dimension and asked if it was right to depend on his own power to save his friend, before sending Sougo back to three days earlier. When the Sougo from the present and Sougo from three days later finally met, they concocted a plan to defeat the Another Gaim by defeating the one in 2013 and the other in 2018 using the Gaim Ridewatches.

While Sougo went into the city, he encounters Another Ghost and gets mistaken by Takeru Tenkuji as a ghost. After nearly losing his soul to Another Ghost, Takeru managed to prevent this by seperating his boyd and soul. Sougo was invisible to everyone except Takeru, who had the Ghost Ridewatch. After giving it to Sougo, he arrives in the year 2013 to defeat Another Ghost. It was that time when Sougo and his allies started to encounter Tsukasa Kadoya, a mysterious third-party who seeks to observe Sougo Tokiwa's growing power.

The next morning, Geiz tried to convince him to stop being a Rider, but Sougo retorts the advice and starts eating. Later, the Dai Mazines started to attack the city, with Sougo recognizing them from his nightmares hence why he wanted to become king to stop all that. One of Ohma Zi-O's servants, Kasshine, arrives from the future and is tasked with killing Geiz and Tsukuyomi to "protect" Sougo. After fighting Kamen Rider Decade, Sougo is flown into the future by an Aurora Curtain and lands in 2068 with Tsukuyomi. There he realizes how bad the future really is and finally meets his future self, Ohma Zi-O, for the first time. Sougo was angered he would commit such atrocities in the future and tried to fight him, but due to his novice nature, fails to even land a mark on Ohma Zi-O.

After being brought back to 2018, Sougo gave up on being Zi-O to stop the future from happening. Eventually, Geiz convinced him that he could still change his fate, despite the risk of Ohma Zi-O's timeline occurring, and reassured him that if he started to stray towards that path, he would stop him before he went too far. Sougo then accepted his fate, becoming Zi-O once again as Decade Ex-Aid Form, destroying Kasshine and helping Geiz destroy Heure and Ora's Time Mazines. However, the decision to temporarily give up the Ziku-Driver managed to diverge the timeline to new outcomes.

The Unwritten Future

After the new year had begun, Sougo dreamt of a ninja named Rentaro Kagura who became Kamen Rider Shinobi in 2022. However unbeknownst to him, this dream actually materialized Rentaro Kagura to the real world where Rentaro later became Another Shinobi. Sougo and his team head out to investigate it, only to also encounter a second Woz, referred to as White Woz, who antagonizes Zi-O and is completely loyal to Geiz. After defeating Another Shinobi for them, he reveals that because Sougo temporarily gave his powers up, it created a new timeline where Ohma Zi-O did not exist, and from there came him. Sougo later decides to go confront Rentaro himself and encourages him to believe in his future self. However White Woz appears and creates the Shinobi Miridewatch, using it to vanquish Another Shinobi. Sougo held a strong belief that Rentaro will rediscover that power in the future.

When Sougo and Geiz head out to investigate an attack instigated by an Another Quiz, who was attacking people at a science laboratory, the two transform to fight the Another Rider, but are suddenly told stop fighting it by Mondo Douan who become Kamen Rider Quiz of 2040. His arrival was due to White Woz's interference in order to make Geiz the savior of the future and deprive Kamen Rider Quiz of his powers. After paticipating in the fight against Another Quiz, Sougo then helps Mondo with some closure with his father.

Sougo and Geiz later find themselves pursuing the elusive Another Rider, Another Ryuga. The group discovered this Another Rider was targeting readers of the defunct ORE Journal news site. Following this lead, the team directed them to Shinji Kido, the original Kamen Rider Ryuki, where they discovered clues about the nature of Another Ryuga. The day after devising strategy, Sougo's uncle, Junichiro, presents Sougo with an unusual Ridewatch, which Black Woz had commissioned him to fix some time ago. Black Woz explains to Sougo that the Ridewatch was originally intended to be used by him on Oma's Day, but White Woz's present interference prompted him to make it available sooner. When Another Ryuga resurfaced, Sougo arrived in time to save Geiz from the monster. When using the new Ridewatch fails, Sougo is transported to the Mirror World along with Another Ryuga while trying to apprehend him. There, he encountered his Mirror World counterpart and a fight ensues.

The birth of Kamen Rider Zi-O II

"Heads and tails... The past and the future... Light and darkness... A Watch that rules over the two worlds!"

Sougo and his Mirror World counterpart fight in their transformed state where Mirror Sougo accused him of being a hypocrite for his views before sending him back to his reality in defeat. Following the encounter, Sougo sought out the advice of Shinji Kido, who survived his own encounter with Dark Shinji. Sougo confronted his Mirror World counterpart once more and accepts that he may have foretold to become Ohma Zi-O despite his best efforts, but more importantly, he came to understand the importance of accepting one's self. Mirror Sougo offers his real world self a Ridewatch, which Sougo realizes was the missing component to the one Black Woz gave him earlier. Once combined, Sougo acquires the completed Zi-O Ridewatch II as Mirror Sougo merges with him and unlocks the power to reverse time. Using this newfound power, Sougo saves Geiz before transforming into Zi-O II and defeating Another Ryuga. Despite the outcome, Tsukuyomi becomes concerned that the power Sougo has acquired is similar to that of Ohma Zi-O. Fearing he may inevitably become Ohma Zi-O despite the efforts, she debates whether Sougo should to be eliminated while Geiz remains conflicted on the matter.

Sougo is at risk of being unable to graduate unless he passes his final exams. He starts to focus and study hard but he dozes off and starts to dream again. In his dream, he visits the year 2121 where humans and machines in conflict and Rento Makina is a kind robot that protects humans as Kamen Rider Kikai. After Sougo is awoken up Another Kikai had appeared but there appears to be no host. Although they managed to deal with Another Kikai and help Rintaro in his timeline, it is revealed Sougo's dreams were prophetic and it is enough to manifest elements of those dream to reality. Sougo managed to scrape by and complete his examinations, giving him the chance to graduate high school.

Tsukuyomi becomes even more concern that Sougo will become evil, given his control over time is getting stronger. In the the present, Sougo meets Hiryu Kakogawa, the second survior of the bus accident he was involved in, and transformed into Another Zi-O. While Another Zi-O attacked the previous Another Rider hosts to gather what was left of their powers, Hiryu blames Sougo for the bus accident that killed his parents and wants to settle things with him. However, due to Tsukuyomi's apparent death for failing to kill young Sougo, Geiz found the resolve to become Kamen Rider GeizRevive in order to take down Sougo Tokiwa once and for all.

As Another Zi-O gathered an army of Another Riders hellbent on killing Sougo, Sougo reunited with Geiz and told him that he still aspired to be friends with him despite Geiz still worried over the former's future as Ohma Zi-O. When Hiryu tried to harm Sougo, Geiz rushed in to protect him and adknowledged him as a comrade. Zi-O and Geiz fought together side by side to take down Another Zi-O and his Another Rider army. After Hiryu is defeated, Sougo encourages him to continue and live for the present instead of clinging to the past. Tsukuyomi would return to the present, putting Sougo and Geiz's animosity to rest.

Sougo unites with Geiz and Black Woz to become Kamen Rider Zi-OTrinity

White Woz recruited Daiki Kaito to steal the GeizRevive Ridewatch and the Zi-O Ridewatch II. Furthermore, he created Another Blade to draw out two Jokers, Kamen Riders Blade and Chalice, and restarting the Battle Fight that would destroy the world. Sougo learns that Black Woz used to be a member of the Resistance until he betrayed them for Ohma Zi-O. He encourages Woz and Geiz to cooperate instead of being confrontational, believing their future can be change. With Another Blade being the sole "Joker", Sougo manages to convince White Woz into helping the heroes, to which the latter responds by giving them the Zi-OTrinity Ridewatch, created from the unity of Zi-O, Geiz, and Woz. The three transform into Zi-OTrinity and destroy Another Blade, sealing Blade and Chalice's power inside Ridewatches, which Sougo was allowed to keep. He is later visited by a message of Ohma Zi-O to gather the remaining Ridewatches if he needed more power to become king.

Road To The King

As Swartz creates Another Agito, Sougo learns Tsukuyomi had been developing temporal abilities. The original Kamen Rider Agito, Shoichi Tsugami, returns from France to aid the heroes in fighting the horde of Another Agitos. After Another Agito took away Shouichi's power to become Kamen Rider Agito itself, Sougo as Zi-OTrinity managed to take it back and return it to the original owwner. Shouichi also asumes his own Trinity Form. The two, however, are able to destroy all the Another Agitos. Shouichi gives the Agito Ridewatch to Sougo, wishing him luck on his path to become King. The two part ways as Shouchi returns to France.

Sougo's birthday is drawing near, Zi-O and Geiz have a fight with Another Hibiki, and they are helped by Kamen Rider Todoroki, Tomizo Todayama. The two later meets a man named |Kyosuke Kiriya, who claimed to be Hibiki. Kyosuke forces everyone to to take a training course to acquire Hibiki's power. It is later revealed that Another Hibiki is a student of Kyosuke and that he has never really taken on the mantle of Hibiki. Sougo, who happened to know Tsutomu Tsuzumiya, encouraged Kyosuke to be honest with his student which allowed the latter to become Kamen Rider Hibiki and save Tsutomu. Kyosuke gives Sougo the Hibiki Ridewatch afterwards, saying that he will become an Oni in his own way, reconciling with his student.

After Yuko Kitajima broke out of prison and on a rampage as Another Kiva, Sougo believed she was "Miss Sailor" who was his first crush since childhood. Yuko plays along with Sougo's assumption, but Jiro sees through this, and advises Sougo against being associated with her, giving him the Kiva Ridewatch in the process. At the same time, a threat from outer space, Kamen Rider Ginga, shows up on Earth and proceeds to threaten the world. Zi-O along with Geiz and Woz defeated him with the aid of Another Kiva. However upon learning of Yuko's true colors, he hesistated in fighting her, which Woz took the chance to do so as Kamen Rider Woz GingaFinaly. After the battle, Sougo comes to Yuko, trying to comfort her, but she is killed in by Ora much to his despair. THe next day, after Sougo helps a woman fix her bike, he realizes she is "Miss Sailor", not Yuko.

A meteor strikes the city, carrying with it a great number of Worms. Sougo meets Kamen Rider Gatack, Arata Kagami, and work together to fight the Worms. He encounters the appearance of Another Kabuto, So Yaguruma, aided by the mimic of Shun Kageyama. Although they set a trap on Another Kabuto and Punchhopper, more meteorites are about to collide with Earth. Sougo and Woz were able to fly into space using the Fourze and Ginga Ridewatches to destroy the metorites while Geiz fought with Kagami, having transformed into Kamen Rider Kabuto, defeat Another Kabuto and Punchhopper. After the crisis was averted, Kagami passes on Sougo the Kabuto Ridewatch later, saying he will need it to fulfill his dream of becoming king.

Sougo meets the Taros as the DenLiner is wrecked and seeking recruit Junichiro to repair the time train. When Sougo fought Another Den-O, who arrived to steal the train for himself, he is interupted by Kamen Rider Zeronos, Yuto Sakurai. Yuto attempts to defeat Sougo to prevent him from becoming Ohma Zi-O. While Another Den-O managed to take the DenLiner, Momotaros hands Sougo the Den-O Ridewatch, the final of the twenty Ridewatches he needed to obtain. However, he took it back after learning from Yuto about Sougo's fate, much to the latter's disappointment.

The Riders travel to the year 2017 to find Another Den-O, who is shown wreaking havoc at a hospital. After seeing Sougo's kindness and strength, Momotaros decides to give him the Den-O Ridewatch, confident that he won't abuse its power. All the twenty Heisei Ridewatches have been obtained, resulting in the creation of the GrandZi-O Ridewatch. Sougo uses this newfound power to defeat Another Den-O. Zeronos also acknowledges Sougo's kindness, and helps him with the battle. Momotaros notes that Sougo is a good man, though he thinks he is not as good as Ryotaro Nogami.

The Greatest And Kindest Demon King

Zi-O II vs Another Zi-O II

After acquiring the power of GrandZi-O, Sougo is summoned into 2068 by Ohma Zi-O, who wants to see how far his young self has grown. Although GrandZi-O managed to put up an almost even fight against the demon king, Sougo failed to obtain the Drive Ridewatch in the proper way. However the timeline would drastically change and Sougo was forcibly returned to the year 2019, seeing that Hiryu Kakogawa had resurfaced as Another Zi-O II and ruling the world with an iron fist. In this altered reality, Geiz and Tsukuyomi had forgotten about him and Woz also turned against him for Hiryu. However, Tsukasa Kadoya motivated him and reminded that he always desired to be king, not just because of his friends. Sougo decides to find a way to fix the situation with Tsukasa.

Sougo revisited the altered Geiz and Tsukuyomi and tried to persuade them that he was on their side. Although Geiz was skeptical, after Sougo fought against Another Zi-O II, he was convinced that they were on the same side. Swartz then arrives and asks Hiryu to capture Tsukuyomi. Geiz takes Sougo to a rooftop and he asks about their relationship in Sougo's timeline. Sougo happily explains that their relationship is lot alike they are now, but after many fights, Sougo came to consider Geiz as a comrade.

Tsukuyomi eventually escaped from Hiryu's captivity and Woz revealed he was simply feigning his alliance with Another Zi-O II. After some help with Ora and Heure, Sougo came with Geiz, Woz, and Tsukasa to Hiryu's castle and bring about his end. Hiryu summons an army of Another Riders to fight the heroes. This time, Sougo is able to win against Another Zi-O II and uses the All Twenty Time Break to finish him off, returning the world to normal. During the fight, however, Swartz is able to steal the powers of Kamen Rider Decade. Diend takes the Another Zi-O II Ridewatch as his treasure and walks away.

Sougo invited Heure and Ora to come and stay with him at 9 5 DO, despite that Geiz does not trust them. While Heure is still insecure and unsure of himself at first, Sougo gives him the encouragement to change for the better. When Kamen Rider Aqua, Michal Minato, arrived from the future claiming to take Geiz and Tsukuyomi back to their timelines. However, the threat of Another Drive came afoot and despite lacking the Drive Ridewatch, Sougo was confident in defeating it. However, Swartz arrived appears before them and transforms into Another Decade, summoning Dark Riders to fight Zi-O and Geiz, with Another Decade being the victor. Woz arrived and was able to save them from further harm.

Sougo later discovered the true nature of Swartz's powers to summon Dark Riders, by trapping victims into their own personal realities known as Another Worlds that contrast what really happens in real life, allowing him to bring forth deceased Riders like Kamen Rider Eternal, Katsumi Daido, and the original Kamen Rider Woz, White Woz. Later, Sougo witnesses Ora betray and murder Heure. He rushed to the young Time Jacker as he passed away in his arms. When Another Drive laughed and mocked his death, this infurated Sougo to the point of angrily beating down the Another Rider. After the battle is over, Sougo mourned the loss of his former enemy turned friend.

Sougo later learns that Geiz is trapped by Swartz into an Another World, and the Another World version of White Woz has revived, he works together with White Woz in his plan to free Geiz and the rest of Swartz's victims. He managed to destroy the realities by transforming into Zi-OTrinity, forcibly summoning Geiz and Woz back to his world and simultaneously eliminating some of the Dark Riders and White Woz himself. Sougo engages Swartz but learns he is responsible for the bus crash that killed his parents, all to let Sougo collect the power of Kamen Riders for himself to take. Swartz as Another Decade became too powerful that even Ora and Kamen Rider Aqua were killed just after attempting to stop the Time Jacker.

After defeating Sougo, Swartz taunts him by giving him three scenarios. If Sougo kills Swartz, Tsukuyomi will be gone as well and their timelines will disappear. If Sougo surrenders, Swartz will take all of his powers and rule the world. The third option is to let the original history take course and become Ohma Zi-O. Suddenly, elements related with the previous Heisei Riders, like the Sky Wall and Futo Tower, started to appear out of nowhere. As more monsters started spawning over the city, Sougo and Tsukuyomi decide to go with Tsukasa to reinvestigate Tsukuyomi's timeline again. This is where he discover Swartz's true plans, to gather all the twenty Rider powers from the different dimensions which will merge into one whole Earth.

Zi-OTrinity fights Ohma Zi-O for the last time

As more monsters started to surface, Sougo agrees to Tsukasa's plan to destroy the world but save all the people within it. He also revealed his idenity to his uncle, apologizes for telling him very late. This touches Junichiro, who says Sougo acts like a true king. Sougo travels to the year 2068 to confront Ohma Zi-O one final time. By transforming into Zi-OTrinity, he managed to briefly overwhelm his future self. Although the young and elder Sougos didn't intend to kill the other, Sougo asks his future self what exactly is Ohma Zi-O's power like, learning that it has the power to destroy space and time itself, a power that someone like Swartz can never dream to have. The future Sougo wishes to see the present Sougo's next move, as he sends Sougo back to the present day. During his trip to 2068, he secretly slipped a blank Ridewatch in Tsukuyomi's pocket and upon returning back to 2019, Sougo told her to transform with the Ridewatch to become Kamen Rider Tsukuyomi. However, in a surprise turn of events, Tsukuyomi betrays everyone and sides with Swartz instead.

After sharing a final meal with his uncle Junichiro, Sougo arrived in the final battle with the GrandZi-O Ridewatch restored by the repaired previous Watches that Junichiro had fixed. As Kamen Rider GrandZi-O engaged Another Decade and his army of villains, he was knocked out of transformation and Geiz immediately shielded him from Swartz's attack. In his dying breath, tells Sougo to become an Ohma Zi-O who is the "greatest and kindest" demon king like they aspired to have. Now sporting the Ohma Zi-O Driver, an enraged Sougo transformed into Kamen Rider Ohma Zi-O for the first time, later ordering Woz to rejoice his advent. Another Decade became overwhelmed with Ohma Zi-O and had underestimated the massive power due to Sougo possessing the powers of every Kamen Rider in existence. Swartz tries to escape but is stopped by Tsukuyomi, who didn't really turn against her friends. After seeing Tsukuyomi killed by Another Decade, this pushed Ohma Zi-O to finally end Swartz, and a surge of temporal energy sweeps through the area, making the other monsters vanish, ending the Time Jacker's scheme for good.

Although Sougo had saved the world, he chosed not the rule it as he is intent to destroy the timeline he is in. Sougo visits his future self in a vision and states that while he has accomplished his goal of becoming a King, he cannot reign supreme without his friends. With future Sougo's blessing, Sougo chose to use Ohma Zi-O's power to recreate and rewrite the world's history, erasing Ohma Zi-O from the timeline and restoring the world back into twenty Earths.

New Timeline

After resetting the timeline, Sougo returns back to his normal life in September 2018. After having breakfast with Junichiro, he heads straight to school. In this new timeline, the people involved in the original events are shown to be alive and well, as well as having no memory of the original events. Geiz and Tsukuyomi become Sougo's classmates, along with Heure and Ora. As everyone rushed to school, Woz appears and believes Sougo Tokiwa and his friends will have a new story as they rush to school in joy.

Erased Futures

Ohma Zi-O's Timeline

On April 7, 2019, Sougo evolved into Kamen Rider Ohma Zi-O from his base form during the events of Oma's Day. Using this newfound power, he destroyed the world using the Dai Mazines, eventually wiping out at least 50% of the Earth's population, and began his rule over the planet, becoming the revered "Demon King".

GeizRevive's Timeline

In this timeline, Geiz defeated Ohma Zi-O and became known as the world's savior, later evolving into GeizRevive, creating a peaceful timeline and according to White Woz, "like time itself has stopped". This timeline is likely erased after the fated duel between Zi-O and Geiz that took place in Oma's Day was averted.

Prophesied Vision

In a version of Oma's Day, seen by Sougo through the use of the Zi-O Ridewatch II, he sees a future of a fated duel between Zi-O II and Geiz to declare which future will be secured. While the dream did not reveal the outcome of the fated battle, it was likely erased after Oma's Day had passed and such battle didn't happen.

Kamen Rider Build: Be The One

At some point in his history, Kamen Rider Zi-O joined a battlefield where the first eighteen Heisei Riders engaged in a battle against their numerous adversaries. As Kamen Rider Build, Sento Kiryu, was inadvertently transported to their world by the White Pandora Panel, Zi-O arrived in his Time Mazine and stated he already had Build's Ridewatch, transforming to Kamen Rider Zi-O BuildArmor and wiped out all the monsters while the prior Riders were caught in the crossfire. Reverting to his default form, he introducing himself to Sento as Kamen Rider Zi-O, proclaiming himself as the demonic king with the powers of all Kamen Riders, while acknowledging that he was going by the word of others.

Kamen Rider Heisei Generations FOREVER

Sougo and Geiz fighting Tid's mooks

A powerful Time Jacker named Tid appears and creates two powerful warriors, Another Double and Another Den-O and orders them to pursue a young boy named Shingo. While Sougo attempts to protect him, he meets a young Kamen Rider fan named Ataru, who demoralizes the existence of the Kamen Riders. Wondering what does he mean, him and Sento try to uncover the truth. The Kamen Riders are in fact only TV show characters and are not real, getting back to his world, Woz and Sougo acknowledged what happened and try to go back to this world to save Shingo from Tid. With the mystery uncovered, Sougo and Sento head to the Kurogatake Mountains where they must face their true enemy, Another Kuuga. The twenty Heisei Kamen Riders reunite for a last Heisei battle together and Shingo is returned to his time, in 2000.

Following the Another Zi-O crisis, Sougo and Geiz came across the mysterious emergance of Another Ryuki, who began to harm innocent people for reasons they have yet to understand. After being aided by Kamen Rider Ryuki, Sougo reunites with Shinji Kido and the latter passes on the Ryuki Ridewatch to him, which allowed Sougo and Geiz to finally defeat Another Ryuki, then Kamen Rider Odin for good.

Kamen Rider Zi-O: Over Quartzer

In an alternate timeline, Sougo comes face-to-face with Quartzer, who intend to wipe Kamen Rider Drive from history and a conspiracy behind his kingship. It is in this timeline where he will formally receive the Drive & Mach Watches, encounter his original counterpart, and obtain Kamen Rider Zi-O OhmaForm.

Kamen Rider Zi-O: Final Stage

NOTE: The following events take place in an alternate timeline after the events of Over Quartzer

Following the end of the Quartzer crisis, Sougo comes into conflict with Hiryu Kakogawa once more, who initally assumed the form of Kamen Rider Barlckxs and later Another Ohma Zi-O. While trying to collect the Showa Era Riders' Ridewatches, Hiryu revealed his goal to wipe the Heisei and Reiwa Eras and restore the Showa Era to rule it. As more Another Riders were gathered, Sougo joined with Geiz, Woz, and Tsukuyomi to put a stop to Hiryu's goals. He also fights together with Ohma Zi-O to against Another Ohma Zi-O, putting an end to Hiryu's third flight.

Kamen Rider: Reiwa The First Generation

Continued after Ohma Zi-O's reverting the Rider timelines back to normal, the Time Jacker Finis managed to alter Kamen Rider Zero-One's timeline, forcing Sougo and his allies to regain their sealed memories and summoned in Zero-One's altered world where it is overrun by Humagears. Sougo works together Aruto Hiden to figure out the cause and discovers that it was part of Finis' plan to draw him out and take part of his powers. He also provided Aruto some guidance after it was revealed that his Humagear father, Soreo Hiden, seemingly participated in creating technologies of destruction, motivating Aruto to confront his father. While confronting Finis as Another 1, he reunites Zero-One to defeat the Time Jacker once and for all. After Zero-One's timeline is restored, Sougo battled Aruto and sealed his memories, as well as his, from any memory of the following events.

Kamen Rider Zi-O NEXT TIME: Geiz, Majesty

Continued after Ohma Zi-O's reverting the Rider timelines back to normal, Sougo appeared to have a normal life with his friends Keito "Geiz" Myokoin and Alpina Tsukuyomi. Despite having no memories of the previous timeline, Sougo still aspired to become king. Despite butting heads with Geiz like they did in the previous timeline, the both of them remained the bestest of friends and Sougo tried to motivate him to find a purpose in the future. Sougo was saddened after learning that he would become a cruel and evil demon king in the future, but found happiness after Woz revealed he was actually a "great and kind" demon king instead. Being granted the Zi-O Ridewatch and GrandZi-O Ridewatches, Sougo became Kamen Rider Zi-O and became amazed with the power of being a king.

Rider Time: Kamen Rider Zi-O VS Decade

When Hikarigamori High School was brought into an alternate dimension, Sougo and his fellow classmates were trapped in this new realm which is surrounded by Elementary Inves. Since that time, Sougo also attracted the atention of Heure, who desired to hand him a love letter. Sougo wanted to improve student conditions by organizing a festival, which became a flop due to little interest beside only one student visiting. When the Inves began to attack the students, Sougo transformed into Kamen Rider Zi-O to protect him, only to encounter two more Zi-Os much to his surprise.

He greets himself to his alternate counterparts, a Sougo Tokiwa from Hanazomo Academy and a Sougo Tokiwa from Misawa High School, respectively referred to as Sougo B and Sougo C, while the Sougo from Hikarigamori High School was referred as Sougo A. According to Woz, a mysterious force is combining different worlds with different Sougo Tokiwas into one. The three Sougos began to run for class president as a step to become king, with Sougo B and Sougo C managing to gain the popular votes. Sougo A also began to help Swartz cook the meat from the Inves at night. The next day, Sougo A and Sougo C engaged in combat, Sougo A was seemingly killed by Sougo C in battle and a Sougo Tokiwa with a teddy bear and a delinquent Sougo Tokiwa arrived.

However, it turned out both Sougos switched places and Sougo A had been impersonating Sougo C the entire time, just to avoid being followed by Heure. However, what they didn't account for is Sougo C's death, who had actually been killed by Tsukasa Kadoya. The delinquent Sougo and the Sougo with a teddy bear, each referred as Sougo D and Sougo E, joined the race for class president but Sougo D was eventually killed by Decade. Tsukasa continues to target the other Sougo Tokiwas to draw out the "true" Sougo, now in the form of a child and kill Sougo E and Heure. Souga A fought "True Sougo" as he transformed into Ohma Zi-O, and used the power of the Saber Ridewatch to become Kamen Rider Zi-O DecadeArmor Saber Form. Despite the gap between Sougo A's new power against Ohma Zi-O, he was able to defeat him after "True Sougo" was momentarily blindsided. After the battle was over, Sougo and his friends returned back to his normal universe. With Sougo B as the other surviving counterpart, they parted ways in good terms. Sougo, Geiz, and Tsukuyomi returned back to their normal lives in Hikarigamori High School.

Sougo appeared in Superhero Senki, aiding the Zenkaigers and the Taros.

Personality

Sougo is described as an ambitious young man with a strong desire to be king. This desire stems from a recurring dream he has had since his childhood, where a man in black, who would later be revealed to be Swartz, had encouraged him into becoming one in order to save the world. Because of his eccentric dream, Sougo did not have a lot of friends growing up, with his sole companion being a toy robot, a fact that Junichiro would confide later with Tsukuyomi, saying both she and Geiz were the first closest friends he ever had. Sougo also exhibits fanatical admiration towards the presence of regal figures (i.e.: Kuroto Dan) and ordinary people who possess benevolent king-like qualities (i.e.: Eiji Hino), as he believes he can learn from individuals who have succeeded in their ascension and also understand what is needed for one to be a benevolent ruler, resulting in him becoming one step closer to accomplishing his own ambitions.

His views for kingship changed once he discovered the existence of his tyrannical alternate future self, and temporarily abandoned his quest for kingship. However with support from Geiz, Sougo began displaying emotional and psychological resilience when facing such moral dilemmas; even when confronted by the Mirror World manifestation of his own dark side, Sougo persevered and adapted, and was able to come to terms with his inner darkness and decided to risk it all in finding out if he truly does become the evil tyrant he was destined to be. Despite so, Sougo is still someone who is sensitive towards people who tell him that he will or recommend that he become an evil demon king, despite him on several occasions voicing out his intentions to become the very opposite.

Sougo is a peaceful and genuinely kind man at heart who confidently feels obligated to show compassion and empathy even towards people who have committed horrible deeds, such as Yuko Kitajima, Heure, and Ora, as he feels it is a quality that kings should possess. He will gladly put himself in danger in order to cease a conflict, a trait even Tsukuyomi does not fully understand. He is also very trustful towards others, and had no doubt that Geiz would use the Wizard Ridewatch and defeat Another Wizard in 2012.

Sougo also showed an inability to come out with his feelings, hiding the fact that he genuinely felt lonely after Geiz and Tsukuyomi left and continued insisting he was fine. It wasn't until Junichiro built up the courage to actually scold him over this, advising him to just come out with his feelings. This encouraged Sougo to admit his loneliness to both Geiz and Tsukuyomi and asked them to return to 9 5 DO.

Despite his peaceful nature, it doesn't mean that Sougo never shows anger. The first example was right after he discovered the result of the future he caused and witnessed the man he feared to become, and attacked Ohma Zi-O to no avail. After Heure was killed by Ora, and his death was mocked by Another Drive, it left Sougo in a rage and he mercilessly attacked and killed Another Drive. Following Swartz informing of three impossible choices to stop him, Sougo couldn't do anything but scream Swartz's name in grief and anger. That anger and rage took a turn for the worse after Geiz's death, who shielded him from Another Decade's attack. Combined with Tsukuyomi's supposed betrayal and the fact his life was manipulated by Swartz this whole time, Sougo then accepted the power of Ohma Zi-O and defeated Swartz with no hesitation. Despite his transformation into Ohma Zi-O, Sougo was able to not let his grief corrupt him, leading him to not go on the path of villainy like his future self did, but instead restore the multiverse back to normal, hence living up to his ambition of becoming the "greatest, kindest demon king".

Because of his optimistic approaches, Sougo adds the verbal tic "Feels like it" (気がする, Kigasuru) at the end of most of his sentences.

Legend Rider Catchphrases

Occasionally when Sougo dons a new RiderArmor, he will say the original Rider's catchphrase, albeit somewhat altered:

• Build: The laws of victory have been set! (Sougo moves his hand back and forth after finishing, annoying Sento)
• Ex-Aid: With no continues, I feel like I can clear this game! (Sougo adds his verbal tic in)
• Ghost: I'm gonna try letting my life burn bright! (The original phrase is "My life will burn bright!")
• Gaim: Hanamichi, on Parade! (the original phrase is "Hanamichi, on stage")
• Fourze: I'm going to Space! (In the original script, Sougo adds a Wa (は, Wa), which changes the original meaning of the phrase.)
• OOO: Seiya! (Sougo only says this at the end of Scanning Time Break)
• Double: Now, tell me your sins! (The original phrase is "Now, count up your sins!")

Powers and Abilities

Powers

• Reality Alteration: Like Tsukasa Kadoya before him, Sougo's very presence causes the various Rider worlds in the multiverse to merge with one another due to Swartz granting him space-time manipulation abilities. Even after Sougo rewrote the timeline, this ability still persisted and resulted in the temporary merger between the World of Zi-O and the World of Zero-One.
• Time Manipulation: Upon acquiring the Zi-O Ridewatch II, it bestowed several abilities directly onto Sougo, allowing him to manipulate time as he wishes. All of these abilities were further augmented following his evolution Ohma Zi-O.
  • Temporal Rewind: Sougo can reverse time, allowing him to redo events he has personally experienced with his own eyes and change the future. So far, he has utilized the ability twice in order to undo the deaths of Geiz and Tsukuyomi. While Sougo has been shown to have only reversed events once, it's unknown if he can reverse it a second time in the case he fails to succeed in changing the timeline the first time. Since realizing the dangers of altering the very fabric of time, Sougo has since stopped using this ability.
  • Prophetic Dreaming: Sougo's dreams of the future causes him to subconsciously integrate them into the timeline, as evident of the events that transpire in present day while he is dreaming. While Sougo cannot control the contents of his dreams, he can however change his present day decisions in order to completely stop or delay the prophesied event from happening, as such when his dreams of the fated duel between him and Geiz on Oma's Day was averted completely.
    • Rider Creation: Through this ability, any (new) Rider that Sougo creates through his dreams are permanently integrated into the timeline, and cannot be tampered with using other temporal means. His usages of this ability created Rentaro Kagura in 2022 and Rento Makina in 2121. However the side-effect of this ability is that it creates an Another Rider version of themselves during the year Sougo had the dream.
  • Retrocognition: Sougo was able to look into Yuko Kitajima's memories, though he isn't able to fully come to terms with this ability as of now. ^{[2008: First Love, Wake Up!]}
  • Temporal Freezing: Through miraculous means, Sougo Tokiwa once shared the Time Jackers' ability to freeze time. The only known usage of this ability when he was eight, summoning a series of pink katakana that slowed down time, saving Hiryu Kakogawa from the falling debris. Although, SOUGO being shown to have only disintegrated a Dai Mazine, this is a natural ability that the young Sougo possessed previously. ^{[Our Goal 2019]}
  • Timeline Formatting: After evolving into Ohma Zi-O, Sougo gained the ability to destroy and create the timeline as per his own wishes. While Oma Zi-O never used this ability, Sougo did so to live a peaceful life with his friends. ^{[2019: Apocalypse]}
• Teleportation: Sougo after evolving into GrandZi-O gained the ability to teleport himself, which is helpful to him as defense against several attacks. ^{[2019: Tsukuyomi Confidential]} This ability cannot be traced by the future sight ability belonging to both Zi-O II and Another Zi-O II.

Abilities

• Skilled Combatant: Throughout the course of his journey, Sougo has improved his combat skills considerably, rising from the ranks of an amateur combatant to a formidable warrior, who could contend with more seasoned warriors such as Geiz in a relatively short period of time. In regards to his fighting habits, Sougo is a resourceful and competent fighter who relies heavily upon his huge arsenal of Rider Armors and weapons. While not a fully technical fighter, Sougo approaches a fight in a composed manner and remains calm and level-headed under fire. He is a focused and cunning strategist who can adapt to most situations with innovative strategies.
• Skilled Historian: According to Tsukuyomi, Sougo excels in history, although Sougo can stumble on remembering some historical figures as Mondo Douan has shown to be more adept in this field than him.
• Expert Manipulator: Sougo has a talent for understanding how people would behave and subsequently exploiting people around him to do his bidding like how he tricked both Geiz and Tsukuyomi into watching Another Wizard's magic show with him and how he took advantage of Woz to make him cooperate with him and Geiz. Geiz considered his manipulative capabilities to be a serious threat and an indicator of his potential to become an evil demon king.

Weaknesses

• Poor Academic Performance: According to Tsukuyomi, Sougo is helpless in science and curricular subjects in school. This is indicated when he first used the BuildArmor, and instead of proper equations, it simply listed sentences stating that he 'didn't know' or 'something I learned in grade school'. However, Sougo does manage to pass his exams with an 82/100 and avoid dropping out. Despite having snored through his actual studying, Sougo is able to graduate.
• Poor Gaming Skills: When Sougo plays Mighty Action X, he fails several times. This is also indicated when he uses Kamen Rider Ex-Aid based attacks with his RideHeisaber and his Critical Time Break finisher with Ex-AidArmor, failing to land a perfect on any of those attacks, implying that Sougo is weak when using any of the Gamer Riders' powers.
• Future Sight Exploitation: Zi-O II's future sight can be exploited by opponents moving super-speed by attacking him fast enough to stop him from counterattacking on time, such as GeizRevive Shippu and Kamen Rider PunchHopper. Currently this has only been done by Geiz, since Zi-O II had managed to counter PunchHopper.
• Another Zi-O: While Sougo is able to coexist alongside his Another Rider counterpart, they both also become liable against one another. While Sougo is the only one able to defeat Another Zi-O due to having the corresponding Rider power, Another Zi-O can do the same to Sougo as well under the same circumstances, with death imminent to Sougo since he's a Rider.
  • Another Zi-O II: With Hiryu's evolution to Another Zi-O II, it allows him to alter history. While Sougo will receive some protection to this if it was his past that was altered, it will severely jeopardize both his and Ohma Zi-O's existence sooner or later by some means.

Former Weaknesses

• Kamen Rider Drive: GrandZi-O could not completely control Drive's powers at full capacity due to him not having faithfully acquired the Drive Ridewatch through his usual means, and was easily countered by Ohma Zi-O. This weakness was ultimately solved when Sougo himself evolved into Ohma Zi-O and gained the powers of all Kamen Riders rightfully.

Kamen Rider Zi-O

Kamen Rider Zi-O transforms by inserting the Zi-O Ridewatch into the right-hand side of the Ziku-Driver and spinning the Driver 360 degrees. He accesses Rider Armor (ライダーアーマー, Raidā Āmā) forms based on Kamen Riders by inserting Ridewatches into the left-hand side of the Ziku-Driver.

Zi-O can execute a finishing attack known as the Time Break (タイムブレーク, Taimu Burēku) by pressing the Ride-On Starter on their Rider Ridewatch and rotating the Ziku-Driver. Time Breaks performed in a Rider Armor are named after the respective Rider's special move with "Time Break" after it.

Kamen Rider Zi-O's ending theme is entitled "Zi-O, Toki no Ōja".

His base form's visor reads "Rider" (ライダー, Raidā), while the logo on his forehead reads "Kamen" (カメン, "Kamen") in katakana. Zi-O's personal weapon in his base form is the Zikan Girade.

Zi-O consists of the following parts:

• Caliber A (キャリバーＡ, Kyaribā A) - Zi-O's helmet. 'A' stands for Analog.
  • Clock Blade A (クロックブレードA, Kurokku Burēdo A) - The clock hands on the Caliber A. It is a data collection device. The long hand, Baryon Hand M (Barion Hando M, バリオンハンドM) predicts temporal information, such as enemy timing, while the shorthand, Meson Hand H (メソンハンドH, Meson Hando H) measures spatial information, such as the distance between Zi-O and the enemy as well as landing points of finishers.
  • O Signal (オウシグナル, Ou Shigunaru) - The circular section where the two Clock Blades meet. It feeds gathered information to Zi-O, derives optimum solutions to problems, and adjust internal systems of Zi-O.
  • Indication Eye (インジケーションアイ, Injikēshon Ai) - The visor which spells out "Rider". Sensors with a 270° viewing angle are built into the compound eye.
  • Kamen Dial (カメンダイアル, Kamen Daiaru, lit. 'Mask Dial') - Zi-O's faceplate. It invokes an analog clock face and is made using a multilayer structure composed of the special metal alloy Graphenium (グラフェニウム, Gurafeniumu). The Kamen Dial is described by the TV Asahi website to have a beautiful white luster finish.
  • Crash Bezel (クラッシュベゼル, Kurasshu Bezeru) - The metal frame surrounding the face. It is composed of Graphenium.
  • Core Ryūzu (コアリューズ, Koa Ryūzu, lit. 'Core Crown') - The 'button' on Zi-O's left cheek. It is an information management unit that stores combat data.

Its visor spells out "Build" (ビルド, Birudo), and its shoulder pads are modeled after empty Fullbottles.

In this form, he wields the Drill Crusher Crusher (ドリルクラッシャークラッシャー, Doriru Kurasshā Kurasshā), themed after Drill Crusher and the Fullbottle Shoulders allow him to harness the abilities of the Rabbit and Tank Halfbodies.

Its visor spells out "Ex-Aid" (エグゼイド, Eguzeido) and its shoulder pads are modeled after the Rider Gashats.

In this form, Zi-O wields the Gashacon Breaker Breakers (ガシャコンブレイカーブレイカー, Gashakon Bureikā Bureikā), which allows Zi-O to crush opponents with a piledriver and heavy mass attacks. Also, whenever Zi-O smashes the enemy with them, they'll project the katakana for Hit (ヒット, Hitto) upon impact. He can also create the Chocolate Blocks from Mighty Action X for increased jump height.

The Ex-Aid Armor also contains the following parts:

• Ex-Aid Ability Plate (エグゼイドアビリティプレート, Eguzeido Abiriti Purēto) - The thigh armor of the Ex-AidArmor. It has an installed Gain Raiser (ゲインライザー, Gein Raizā) program built-in which allows Zi-O to copy Kamen Rider Ex-Aid's abilities, raising attack and defense power.

Compared to his base form in terms of stats, Zi-O is able to hit harder but has less agility than BuildArmor.

This form's finisher is the Critical Time Break (クリティカルタイムブレーク, Kuritikaru Taimu Burēku): After a prelude appears, Zi-O tosses the prelude screen to the air before pounding the ground with the Gashacon Breaker Breakers to send the enemy flying. Zi-O then tosses the fake prelude screen's bar and rushes through the katakana that make "Critical Time Break" for a flurry of punches that project the attack name's kana within each hit. This attack is similar to Ex-Aid Action Gamer Level 2's Mighty Critical Strike.

FourzeArmor (フォーゼアーマー, Fōze Āmā) is Zi-O's Kamen Rider Fourze-based form accessed by using the Fourze Ridewatch in the left-hand side of the Ziku-Driver, invoking Fourze's Basestates. Its visor spells out "Fourze" (フォーゼ, Fōze) and its shoulder pads are modeled after the Rocket Module.

In this form, not only does Zi-O gain the powers of Kamen Rider Fourze, but his armor has a rocket mode for enhanced flight, and for a special ramming attack. As a side-effect of using this form, he will announce a personal name for his finishing attack, much like Fourze does.

The armor also has an internal oxygen supply, allowing Sougo to survive within the vacuum of outer space.

The Fourze Armor bears the following parts:

• Fourze Head Gear (フォーゼヘッドギア, Fōze Heddo Gia) - FourzeArmor's helmet.
  • Shell Top Gear (シェルトップギア, Sheru Toppu Gia) - Forehead armor of Fourze Head Gear. It is made from the ultra-rigid metal astorium (アストリウム, asutoriumu), the same materials used in Kamen Rider Fourze's Modules, which protects the wearer's head from any shock, and reduce damage.
  • Observation Spike (オブザベーションスパイク, Obuzabēshon Supaiku) - Sensors of Fourze Head Gear located on the 'wings'. Reads the external environment for data, such as geomagnetism, and the state of the surrounding atmosphere.
  • Monolithic Carbon Indication Eye (モノリシックカーボンバイザー, Monorishikku Kābon Baizā Injikēshon Ai) - The visor of the FourzeArmor, sensors with a viewing angle of 270° have been installed within the compound eye. It shows the current state of Zi-O. The wearer's vision is protected from intense sunlight and electromagnetic waves found in outer space thanks to the visor incorporating a super hard carbon light shield.
• Limit Breaster (リミットブレスター, Rimitto Buresutā) - The center chest plate. It is a central circuit that fits the full capabilities of Kamen Rider Fourze. It controls each unit, aiding Zi-O during battle.
• Fairing Flappers (フェアリングフラッパー, Fearingu Furappā) - The shoulder armor which takes a form resembling Fourze's Rocket Module. In rocket mode, it becomes a fairing, and by generating a resistance damping field, it drastically improves flight speed in the atmosphere and protects the wearer from the impact such as acoustics, frictional heat during gravity and gravitational acceleration.
• Booster Module (ブースターモジュール, Būsutā Mojūru) - Sub propeller and attitude control device mounted on both forearms of the Kamen Rider Zi-O's FourzeArmor. In addition to enabling vertical takeoff and landing by explosive thrust force and flexible thrust deflection through the arm, it gives the kick a destructive power like a drill by producing high-speed rotation. Also, it is possible to remote control by itself in a short time.
  • Spear Head Bite (スピアヘッドバイト, Supia Heddo Baito) - The tips of FourzeArmor's Booster Modules. Because it is composed of super durable Graphenium Bite units, it can be used as striking units.
• Basement Plate (ベースメントプレート, Bēsumento Purēto) - The thigh armor of the FourzeArmor. During rocket mode attacks, an arm that attaches the Basement Plate to the Mobilito Engines on the legs lift up the engines, allowing transformation to rocket mode.
• Mobilito Engine (モビリットエンジン, Mobiritto Enjin) - The main engines of FourzeArmor. The orbital titanium cylinder frame has a built-in cosmic engine unit that is small but exhibits high thrust, and it is operated with a pair of 4 units on the back and 2 on the back.

Compared to his previous Rider Armors, FourzeArmor endows Zi-O with increased punching power at the cost of his agility and kicking power, but this is made up by his ability to utilize his rocket mode allowing him to fly.

Its visor spells out "OOO" (オーズ, Ōzu), its chest reads "Taka" (タカ, "Taka"), "Tora" (トラ, "Tora"), and "Batta" (バッタ, "Batta"), while its shoulder pads are modeled after the Tora arms.

In this form, Zi-O gains the powers of Kamen Rider OOO, those being an enhanced sense of direction. thanks to the Taka Indication Eye (タカインジケーションアイ, Taka Injikēshon Ai, lit. 'Hawk Indication Eye'), a Tora Claw Z (トラクローZ, Tora Kurō Z, lit. 'Tiger Claw Z') claw-like gauntlet, and enhanced jumping thanks to the Batta Springers (バッタスプリンガー, Batta Supuringā, lit. 'Grasshopper Springers'). As a side-effect of using this form, he will announce "Seiya!" when performing a finishing attack, much like OOO does.

• OOO Head Gear M (オーズヘッドギアM, Ōzu Heddo Gia M) - OOOArmor's helmet.
  • Taka Indication Eye (タカインジケーションアイ, Taka Injikēshon Ai, lit. 'Hawk Indication Eye') - The visor of the OOOArmor, sensors with a viewing angle of 270° have been installed within the compound eye. It utilizes a highly sensitive visual sensor, allowing Zi-O to see up to 8km ahead, as well as see objects as small as 0.02mm clearly in high definition. The Taka Indication Eye is so powerful that even in the dark Zi-O can see enemies 3km away.
  • Sailing Taka Shield (セーリングタカシールド, Sēringu Taka Shīrudo, lit. 'Sailing Hawk Shield') - The red hawk wing-like side crests decorating OOOArmor's head. It incorporates an anti-gravity UG Plate (UGプレート, UG Purēto), allowing the Sailing Hawk Shield to fly during Armor Time transformation. Because it does not need lift under its wings to fly, the wings are mainly used as sharp cutting tools and defensive armor.
  • Tail Blocker (テイルブロッカー, Teiru Burokkā) - OOO Head Gear's breathing apparatus located on the Sailing Taka Shield's 'tail'/mouth-plate. An air filtration function is installed, blocking toxins and all types of poisonous gasses, allowing Zi-O to breathe normally during battle.
• Tora Top Shoulder (トラトップショルダー, Tora Toppu Shorudā, lit. 'Tiger Top Shoulder') - OOOArmor's right side shoulder. Due to the Supple Stranger (サプルストレンジャー, Sapuru Sutorenjā) units installed inside, muscular strength, reaction speed, and flexibility is enhanced, allowing for more aggressive attacks. Additionally, the Tora Head (トラヘッド, Tora Heddo, lit. 'Tiger Head') search unit is equipped with various sensors that scan the battlefield for any useful information, which it then converts into electrical signals and acts upon said signals.
• Tora Bottom Shoulder (トラボトムショルダー, Tora Botomu Shorudā, lit. 'Tiger Bottom Shoulder') - OOOArmor's left side shoulder. Due to the Supple Stranger units installed inside, muscular strength, reaction speed, and flexibility is enhanced, allowing for more aggressive attacks. Additionally, it contains a posture controlling device in the Tread Tail (トレッドテイル, Toreddo Teiru), which automatically corrects body posture in battles to prevent stumbling.
• Scanning Breaster (スキャニングブレスター, Sukyaningu Buresutā) - OOO Armor's chestplate. It contains a central circuit unit that replicates Kamen Rider OOO's powers. With it, OOOArmor can combine three different powers together to maximise synergy (シナジー, Shinajī) during battle.
• Tora Arm Plate (トラアームプレート, Tora Āmu Purēto, lit. 'Tiger Arm Plate') - OOOArmor's gauntlets. By utilizing a monocoque outer shell plate on top of a gyro axis mechanism, impacts can be taken without much damage to the user's forearm. Furthermore, the installed Tora Claw Z (トラクローZ, Tora Kurō Z, lit. 'Tiger Claw Z') unit on the right Tora Arm Plate can easily cut through building walls made of reinforced concrete.
• Batta Springers (バッタスプリンガー, Batta Supuringā, lit. 'Grasshopper Springers') - Grey sections resembling grasshopper legs attached to Zi-O OOOArmor's waist, upper and lower legs. It is a device set that vastly increases jumping power, and is able to achieve this by utilizing highly elastic Resilin Rubber (レジリンラバー, Rejirin Rabā) in its construction. It absorbs and diverts impact shocks when jumping, allowing the user to continually jump without discomfort.
• Batta Leg Plates (バッタレッグプレート, Batta Reggu Purēto, lit. 'Grasshopper Leg Plates') - OOOArmor's leg plates. It improves leaping capabilities by utilizing servomechanisms to enhance jumping force.

This form's finisher is the Scanning Time Break (スキャニングタイムブレーク, Sukyaningu Taimu Burēku).: Zi-O performs a variation of OOO's Tatoba Kick, leaps to the air as three giant medal-like projections (In which the medals have "Taka" (タカ), "Tora" (トラ), and "Batta" (バッタ) written on them) appear in front of him. Zi-O then performs OOO's Tatoba Kick with the three medals converging into one. The image on the converged medal is similar to OOOArmor's chest-plate. When the enemy explodes, the flame color are Tatoba Combo's red, yellow and green colors.

  • Front Blade (フロントブレード, Furonto Burēdo) - The samurai crest in front of the helmet. It provides additional protection to the eyebrows and frontal lobe.
  • Reversal Indication Eye (リバーサルインジケーションアイ, Ribāsaru Injikēshon Ai) - Gaim Head Gear M's visor that spells out 'Gaim' in katakana. Sensors with a 270° viewing angle are built into the compound eye.
  • Reversal Arms (リバーサルアーム, Ribāsaru Āmu) - The 'ear crests' located on the sides of the ears, it absorbs any further damage taken by the Gaim Head Gear M.
  • Multi Dai Armor (マルチダイアーマー, Maruchi Dai Āmā) - The orange sections of the Gaim Head Gear M. It is composed of multiple metal sheets superimposed on top of each other, raising defense. By using electromagnetic force, the metal sheets can escape pressure akin to a cushion, greatly increasing durability.
  • War Frame (ウォーフレーム, Uō Furēmu) - The frame that surrounds and supports Gaim Head Gear M. It is so strong that even if it's slit by a sharp blade, no scratches will be left.
• Squash Breaster (スカッシュブレスター, Sukasshu Buresutā) - GaimArmor's chest plate that resembles Kamen Rider Gaim Orange Arms' face. Gives Zi-O excellent swordsmanship, and allows him to utilize up to six swords at the time.
• Lockseed Shoulders (ロックシードショルダー, Rokkushīdo Shorudā) - The shoulder armor which takes the form of Lockseeds. It contains a beacon that receives a signal from the Gaim Ridewatch when it activates. The inbuilt Seed Core (シードコア, Shīdo Koa) energy source then creates a space-time interference in order for the GaimArmor to appear above Zi-O before lowering down, allowing transformation into GaimArmor.
  • Dai Dai Gouraiwan (ダイダイゴウライワン, Dai Dai Gouraiwan) - The upper-back sections attached to the GaimArmor, it resembles Gaim Orange Arm's shoulder armor with Daidaimarus attached. Supportive AI is installed on this section, predicting wearer's movements and acting in conjunction, acting as extra arms that can slash enemies.
  • Dai Dai Sleeve (ダイダイスリーブ, Dai Dai Surību) - The lower sections of the Lockseed Shoulders, it is composed of multiple metal sheets superimposed on top of each other, raising the defense power. By using electromagnetic force, the metal sheets can escape pressure akin to a cushion, greatly increasing durability. Additionally, they act as holsters that can store two Daidaimaru Z (大橙丸Z, lit. 'Great Orange Circle Z') swords, Daidaimaru replicas, in them.
• Glass Slide (グラススライド, Gurasu Suraido) - The skirt armor. It is composed and acts the same way as the Dai Dai Sleeve. The 'Reversal Arms' on it absorbs and reduces side damage.
• Dai Dai Gouraitai (ダイダイゴウライタイ, Dai Dai Gouraitai) - The lower legs. Protects lower legs and increases leg strength, allowing Zi-O to withstand recoil from high altitude falling and kicking. Holds a set of Daidaimaru Z's on each.

This form's finisher is the Squash Time Break (スカッシュタイムブレーク, Sukasshu Taimu Burēku): This finisher has two variations.

• Zi-O slashes the enemy with the Daidaimaru Zs before trapping them in an badly drawn orange sphere.
• Zi-O slashes the enemy with the Daidaimaru Zs, causing him to split into mulpitle pieces and explode.
• Zi-O slashes the enemy with the Daidaimaru Zs two times, followed by an X-shaped slash with both blades, causing him to explode.

WArmor (ダブルアーマー, Daburu Āmā, pronounced "Double Armor") is Zi-O's Kamen Rider Double-based form accessed by using the Double Ridewatch in the left-hand side of the Ziku-Driver, invoking Double's CycloneJoker. Its visor spells out "Double" (ダブル, Daburu), and its shoulder pads are modeled after the Cyclone and Joker Gaia Memories.

In this form, Zi-O gains W's Aerokinesis, and hand-to-hand fighting styles. As a side-effect of using this form, Zi-O gains Shotaro's habit of flicking his left wrist before entering battle, or executing finishers.

The WArmor bears the following parts:

• W Head Gear M (ダブルヘッドギアM, Daburu Heddo Gia M) - The helmet. Pronounced as "Double Head Gear M".
  • W Feeler Clock Blade A (ダブルフィーラークロックブレードA, Daburu Fīrā Kurokku Burēdo A) - The clock hand antenna. While it collects spatial and temporal information like the normal Clock Blade A does, it also allows Zi-O to perceive wind movement, increasing sensitivity to a point that it is almost as if there was a secondary pair of eyes at the back of the head.
  • Gaia Finder Indication Eye (ガイアファインダーインジケーションアイ, Gaia Faindā Injikēshon Ai) - The visor of the WArmor, sensors with a viewing angle of 270° have been installed within the compound eye. By adding a W Finder (ダブルファインダー, Daburu Faindā) feature, visibility is assured even in unfavorable wind conditions (i.e. windstorms).
  • Gaia Nose (ガイアノーズ, Gaia Nōzu) - The inbuilt olfactory sensor. It can detect smells and scents one million times more effectively than normal humans.
  • Gaia Frame (ガイアフレーム, Gaia Furēmu) - The frame surrounding the head. It is extremely strong due to its construction involving the stacking of multiple dense armor plates on top of each other.
• Maximum Breaster (マキシマムブレスター, Makishimamu Buresutā) - The chest plate. It contains a central circuit that allows Zi-O to utilize Kamen Rider Double's abilities, such as high fighting ability and wind-like agility.
• Gaia Memory Shoulders (ガイアメモリショルダー, Gaia Memori Shorudā) - The shoulders. They resemble Gaia Memories. The green Right Cyclone (ライトサイクロン, Raito Saikuron) shoulder can control surrounding winds by changing the local barometric pressure, while the dark purple Left Joker (レフトジョーカー, Refuto Jōkā) shoulder has the ability to raise the user's movement ability. On top of all these abilities, the Gaia Memory Shoulders can detach from the main body during deathblows, with each shoulder becoming an autonomous humanoid entity called Memory Droids (メモリドロイド, Memori Doroido).
  • Cyclone Stabiplate (サイクロンスタビプレート, Saikuron Sutabipurēto) - The green attitude control device hanging down from the Right Cyclone shoulder. It stabilizes the whole body's posture when in midair or in strong gusts of wind.
  • Joker Stabiplate (ジョーカースタビプレート, Jōkā Sutabipurēto) - The dark purple attitude control device hanging down from the Left Joker shoulder. It stabilizes the whole body's posture during combat.

This form's finisher is the Maximum Time Break (マキシマムタイムブレーク, Makishimamu Taimu Burēku): Zi-O performs a variation of Double's Joker Extreme, with the Rider Armor assuming humanoid forms representing Double's halves, with all three converging on the target in a rider kick similar to the Triple Extreme.

• Mighty Breaster (マイティブレスター, Maiti Buresutā) - The chest plate. It contains a central circuit that replicates the full abilities of Kamen Rider Kuuga. During battles, it has the ability to cope with all situations and transmit information to each armor part.
• Blocker Shoulder (ブロッカーショルダー, Burokkā Shorudā) - The shoulder armor. The structure is similar to that of an insect's exoskeleton and is extremely durable and elastic.
• Lower Stabi Plate (ロワースタビプレート, Rowā Sutabi Purēto) - The abdomen armor. Supports the torso structurally and protects it from impact.
• Arm Band Plate M (アームバンドプレートM, Āmu Bando Purēto M) - The forearm armor. Offensive and defensive strength is enhanced via a strong and shock-insensitive monocoque shell plate. It incorporates a linear servo axis to enhance joint movement. The Arm Band Plate M is equipped with a golden control ring that amplifies the wearer's movement ability and senses.

GhostArmor (ゴーストアーマー, Gōsuto Āmā) is Zi-O's Kamen Rider Ghost-based form accessed by inserting the Ghost Ridewatch into the left-hand side of the Ziku-Driver, invoking Ghost's Ore Damashii. Its visor spells out "Ghost" (ゴースト, Gōsuto) and its shoulder pads are modeled after Eyecons.

In this form, Zi-O has the abilities of Kamen Rider Ghost, such as becoming invisible and intangible, and is capable of levitation at will. Through the Eyecon Shoulders, he can summon Parka Ghosts as reinforcements. Compared to his base form, Zi-O GhostArmor's stats are heightened, being stronger and faster.

GhostArmor bears the following parts:

• Ghost Head Gear R (ゴーストヘッドギアＲ, Gōsuto Heddo Gia R) - Ghost Armor's helmet.
  • Wisp Horn (ウィスプホーン, Wisupu Hōn) - The horn located on Zi-O's forehead. It detects enemies within a 5 km radius and alerts Zi-O to them. Because of its sharpness, it can also double as a headbutting weapon.
  • Indication Eye (インジケーションアイ, Injikēshon Ai) - Zi-O's visor which spells out 'Ghost'. Sensors with a 300° viewing angle are installed within the compound eye.
  • Pantheon Reflector Frame (パンテオンリフレクターフレーム, Panteon Rifurekutā Furēmu) - The frame of Ghost Head Gear R, it is covered with special particles that block energy attacks.
• Eyecon Shoulders (眼魂ショルダー, Aikon Shorudā) - The shoulders of the Ghost Armor which take the form of Eyecons. It has the ability to summon Parka Ghosts to backup Zi-O. It is unknown if these Parka Ghosts are actual souls or mere copies.
• Omega Breaster (オメガブレスター, Omega Buresutā) - The chest plate of the Ghost Armor. It has a function that allows Zi-O to levitate and permeate through substances.
• Ghost Ability Plate (ゴーストアビリティプレート, Gōsuto Abiriti Purēto) - The thigh armor of the Ghost Armor, it gives Zi-O the ability to float objects in the air.

The DecadeArmor consists of the following parts:

• Decade Head Gear M (ディケイドヘッドギアM, Dikeido Heddo Gia M) - DecadeArmor’s helmet.
  • Meson Hand H (メソンハンドH, Meson Hando H) - The short hand sensor to the left side of the Decade Head Gear M. It collects spatial information such as Zi-O’s distance to enemies, landing point of attacks and appropriate relative position of Rider Armors.
  • Baryon Hand M (バリオンハンドM, Barion Hando M) - The long hand sensor to the right side of the Decade Head Gear M. It collects temporal information such as rate of enemy attacks and predictability of enemy movement.
  • Dimension Face (ディメンションフェイス, Dimenshon Feisu) - Decade Head Gear’s VR unit that resembles a Rider Card. By reproducing the face of a Kamen Rider’s face in 2D, it is possible to replicate its respective Rider’s powers as if it were 3D.
  • Divine Frame (ディヴァインフレーム, Divu~ain Furēmu) - The silver border that outlines the Dimension Face. Although it is light as pumice, it can withstand up to 50 tons of impact.
  • Head Groove (ヘッドグルーブ, Heddo Gurūbu) - The black grooves on the Divine Frame. By placing each groove at regular intervals across the Divine Frame, the Dimension Face’s power is dispersed throughout the DecadeArmor.
  • Core Ryūzu (コアリューズ, Koa Ryūzu, lit. ‘Core Crown’) - The 'button' on Decade Head Gear M’s left cheek. It is an information management unit that stores combat data.
• Attack Breaster (アタックブレスター, Atakku Buresutā) - DecadeArmor’s chest. It contains a central circuit that can replicate Kamen Rider Decade’s abilities. The Attack Breaster can archive the data of all Kamen Riders, allowing Zi-O to master their abilities.
• Code Indicator (コードインディケーター, Kōdo Indikētā) - The cross-shaped barcoded sections. The right shoulder displays the name of the base Kamen Rider used for that form, while the chest to the left shoulder displays the name of the form.
• Divine Upper Plate M (ディヴァインアッパープレートM, Divuain Appā Purēto M) - The combined chest-shoulder armor. Although it is light as pumice, it can withstand up to 50 tons of impact.
• Mid Band Liner M (ミッドバンドライナーM, Middo Bando Rainā M) - The silver band that runs vertically across the DecadeArmor’s torso, it connects the Ziku Driver to the head, converting energy made by the Driver into bioenergy.
• Ride Shape Suit (ライドシェイプスーツ, Raido Sheipu Sūtsu) - The DecadeArmor’s undersuit. By freely manipulating the bonding sequence of the Six Element (シックスエレメント, Shikkusu Eremento) particles encapsulated within the Ride Shape Suit’s fabric, it can change DecadeArmor’s performance into that of another Kamen Rider’s suit.
• Divine Arm Plate M (ディヴァインアームプレートM, Divu~ain Āmu Purēto M) - The upper and lower arm armor sections. It consists of 10 layers of laminated armor plating, and during transformation into other Rider powers, the lower 8 layers temporarily change to the same performance of the base Kamen Rider by receiving material and data from the Ride Shape Suit. At the same time, the 2 upper layers are purged.
• Beat Plate Knuckles (ビートプレートナックル, Bīto Purēto Nakkuru) - The DecadeArmor’s thick globular knuckles. It is structured so that each finger node is covered with strong armor, maintaining very high defense power without sacrificing finger articulation.
• Divine Leg Plate M (ディヴァインレッグプレートM, Divu~ain Reggu Purēto M) - The upper and lower leg armor sections. Just like the Divine Arm Plate M, it consists of 10 laminated armor plates, and during transformations into other Rider powers, the lower 8 layers temporarily change to the same performance of the base Kamen Rider by receiving material and data from the Ride Shape Suit. At the same time, the 2 upper layers are purged.
• Count Pads (カウントパッド, Kaunto Paddo) - DecadeArmor’s various watch buttons stuck on the kneepads and other various parts of the body. It instantaneously receives and measures shock damage and sends it to the Core Ryūzu on the Decade Head Gear M.
• Body Groove Liner (ボディグルーブライナー, Bodi Gurūbu Rainā) - The pink outer frame of the Divine Leg Plate Ms. It protects the legs from shock.
• Groove Stake (グルーブステーク, Gurūbu Sutēku) - The feet. It is covered with thick armor that is connected to the shins and can exert a tremendous amount of force when kicking.

• DCD Rapid Glove (DCDラピッドグローブ, DCD Rapiddo Gurōbu) - Build Form’s right red hand. Because it is capable of fine and quick operation, the DCD Rapid Glove can master any weapon.
• DCD Heavy Cider Arm (DCDヘビーサイダーアーム, DCD Hebī Saidā Āmu) - Build Form’s blue left arm. A blue blade called the T Sparkling Blade (Tスパークリングブレード, T Supākuringu Burēdo) is attached. Due to its sheer toughness, the T Sparkling Blade can be used to penetrate enemy armor.

The chest and left shoulder of DecadeArmor Ghost Form read "Grateful" (グレイトフル, Gureitofuru) in katakana, while the right shoulder reads "Ghost" (ゴースト, Gōsuto) in katakana. Its Dimension Face reads "Kamen Rider Ghost" along the bottom.

DecadeArmor Ghost Form consists of the following parts:

• Decade Head Gear M Ghost Form’ (ディケイドヘッドギアMゴーストフォーム, Dikeido Heddo Gia M) - The helmet.
  • Meson Hand H (メソンハンドH, Meson Hando H) - The short hand sensor to the left side of the Decade Head Gear M. It collects spatial information such as Zi-O’s distance to enemies, the landing point of attacks and appropriate relative position of Rider Armors.

  • Head Groove (ヘッドグルーブ, Heddo Gurūbu) - The black grooves on the Divine Frame. By placing each groove at regular intervals across the Divine Frame, the Dimension Face’s power is dispersed throughout the DecadeArmor.

• Mid Band Liner M (ミッドバンドライナーM, Middo Bando Rainā M) - The silver band that runs vertically across the DecadeArmor’s torso, it connects the Ziku Driver to the head, converting energy made by the Driver into bioenergy.
• DCD Sublime Suit (DCDサブライムスーツ, DCD Saburaimu Sūtsu) - The undersuit. It is made of a solid metal alloy called Quantum Solid (クァンタムソリッ, Kuantamu Soriddo), which can change the state of energy freely. The DCD Sublime Suit is extremely flexible, but it will harden at areas about to get hit, reducing damage by half.
• DCD Armor Sublime (DCDアーマーサブライム, DCD Āmā Saburaimu) - The black and gold armor covering the DCD Sublime Suit. It is formed of Quantum Solid, and the power formed by each heroic spirit residing in each armor plate suppresses attack damage.
• DCD Goldy Shackles (DCDゴルディシャックル, DCD Gorudi Shakkuru) - Power amplifying rings attached to the wrists and ankles. Large amounts of energy are stored within these shackles, allowing Zi-O to adjust the power balance between each limb. When initiating a deathblow technique, the DCD Goldy Shackles wrap the hands/feet with an intense aura, dramatically improving the deathblow’s speed.
• DCD Fatal Knocked Glove (DCDフェイタルノクトグローブ, DCD Feitaru Nokuto Gurōbu) - Ghost Form’s hands. With them, it is possible to touch apparitions unseen to the human eye. Also, by wrapping the fists with the special Ray Glister (レイグリスター, Rei Gurisutā) light particles, enemies can be destroyed without leaving any visible traces.
• DCD Mortal Knocked Boots (DCDモータルノクトブーツ, DCD Mōtaru Nokuto Būtsu) - Ghost Form’s feet. With them, it is possible to run at high speeds, as well as to maintain posture when floating. Also, by wrapping the fists with the special Ray Glister light particles, enemies can be destroyed without leaving any visible traces.

It raises the physical capabilities of each transformed user, granting greater strength, agility, and jump height. The DCD Action Gear Suit places emphasis on reaction speed and movement capabilities, and this is reflected on the battlefield. Additionally, a co-operation strengthening device dubbed Smash Linker (スマッシュリンカー, Sumasshu Rinkā) is installed, allowing both transformed users to work in conjunction with the other, resulting in excellent teamwork.
• DCD Growth Arm (DCDグロウスアーム, DCD Gurousu Āmu) - The arms. The installed Gain Riser (ゲインライザー, Gein Raizā) program improves Ex-Aid Form's attack and defense power based on combat data gained during battle. The DCD Growth Arm has excellent response time capabilities, allowing both Ex-Aid Forms to co-operate and synchronize with each other during complicated attacks.
• DCD X-Fight Gloves (DCDエクスファイトグローブ, DCD Ekusu Faito Gurōbu) - The hands. Via the surface, the DCD X-Fight Gloves can exchange data between the weapon it holds, allowing the weapon to adjust and optimize attacks accordingly.
• DCD Growth Legs (DCDグロウスレッグ, DCD Gurousu Reggu) - The legs. The installed 'Gain Riser' program improves Ex-Aid Form's attack and defense power based on combat data gained during battle. It is superior in jumping and running capabilities, and can quickly shorten the distance between the user(s) and the opponent.
• DCD Mighty Mech Guard (DCDマイティメックガード, DCD Maiti Mekku Gādo) - The silver armor parts on the legs. It can rebuild itself when damaged in battle, and can even increase durability in areas which have been hit. It contains a 'Gain Riser' program which improves Ex-Aid Form's attack and defense power based on combat data gained during battle.

• DCD Elbow Windsor (DCDエルボウィンザー, DCD Erubo Uinzā) - The red elbow armor. It is composed of thin sharp blades that overlap on top of each other, allowing it to be used as a sharp weapon to cut opponents.
• DCD Kujaku Guardia (DCDクジャクガーディア, DCD kujaku Gādia, lit. 'DCD Peacock Guardia') - The forearm armor. It is extremely sturdy and allows Zi-O to quickly attacks while maintaining defensive power.
• DCD Kujaku Bristle (DCDクジャクブレストル, DCD Kujaku Buresutoru, lit. 'DCD Peacock Bristle) - The golden bracelets around OOO Form's wrists. They are energy amplification devices that can temporarily increase punching power and muscular strength.
• DCD Kujaku Grabber (DCDクジャクグラバー, DCD Kujaku Gurabā, lit. 'DCD Peacock Grabber') - The hands. Exoskeleton-like material wraps around the fingers. Punching power is raised.
• DCD Feather Drive (DCDフェザードライブ, DCD Fezā Doraibu) - The red skirt armor-like sections at the waist. It acts as a conduit for energy to better pass through the body. During high-speed flights, it controls the movement of surrounding air and its attitude, allowing for better wind resistance. In addition, it can supply energy to the legs, giving them increased kicking power.
• DCD Condor Knee Dias (DCDコンドルニーディアス, DCD Kondoru Nīdiasu) - The kneecaps. It produces air resistance and generates a lift force to enable flight.
• DCD Condor Ankle Toe (DCDコンドルアンクルトゥ, DCD Kondoru Ankuru Tou) - The ankle guards. By overlapping thin exoskeleton-like foam structures, it can absorb shock effectively.
• DCD Raptured Edge (DCDラプタードエッジ, DCD Raputādo Ejji) - The claw-like exoskeletal structures located near the heel. There are two DCD Raptured Edges behind each DCD Condor Ankle Toe. During deathblows, the DCD Raptured Edge can create a blade of energy to strike opponents.
• DCD Striker Nail (DCDストライカーネイル, DCD Sutoraikā Neiru) - The claw on the toe section. When it hits an opponent, it increases damage by simultaneously releasing a shock into the opponent's body.

In this form, not only is Zi-O armed with the RideHeisaber, but he's also equipped with the Dragvisorzwei.

Kamen Rider Zi-O II (仮面ライダージオウII［ツー］, Kamen Raidā Jiō Tsū) is Zi-O's super form accessed by separating the Zi-O Ridewatch II into its D'9 and D'3 Side components and then inserting said components into their appropriate position on the Ziku-Driver. This form of Zi-O was created when the two components of Zi-O Ridewatch II were assembled and gives the Kamen Rider the power to manipulate time however they desire.

In this form, Zi-O's stats surpass those of all of his previous forms. In addition, Zi-O II is able to see into the future in order to predict his enemy's movements, provided they are unaware of his future sight and/or move slow enough for him to prepare a counterattack.

This form is also capable of defeating Another Riders and destroying their Anotherwatches without the need for using a corresponding Ridewatch, though this method only works against Another Riders with only one power-set.

In this form, Zi-O wields the Saikyo Girade, which can combine with the Zikan Girade to form the Saikyo Zikan Girade.

Zi-O II's armor consists of the following parts:

• Caliber A II (キャリバーAⅡ, Kyaribā A Tsū) - The helmet.
  • Precedence Blade (プレセデンスブレード, Puresedensu Burēdo) - The Caliber A II's observation device. The long needle sensor called Baryon Precedence (バリオンプレセデンス, Barion Puresedensu) observes "possible events" upon rotation, while the Meson Precedence (メソンプレセデンス, Meson Puresedensu) short hand sensor has the role of observing the current event and sending it to the Sona Crest.
  • Sona Crest (ソナクレスト, Sona Kuresto) - The Crest integrated information aggregation unit. It integrates and analyzes information received from various sensors, derive optimum solutions, adjusts the system step of Zi-O II. Analyzes the information received from the Precedence Blade and sends it to the Core Ryūzu II and Indication Eye Ⅱ.

Kamen Rider Zi-OTrinity (仮面ライダージオウトリニティ, Kamen Raidā Jiō Toriniti) is Zi-O's fusion form accessed with the Zi-OTrinity Ridewatch. It combines Zi-O's power with that of Geiz and Woz, along with all three of their bodies being merged as well.

As a result, Zi-OTrinity's power surpasses Zi-O II's in every stat. However, it still loses to GeizRevive Goretsu's punching power and GeizRevive Shippu's running speed. Like Zi-O II, this form can destroy Anotherwatches without the need for the corresponding Ridewatch. Zi-OTrinity also has the power to destroy Another Riders who have absorbed the powers of other riders, such as Another Blade, who had also absorbed Chalice's power.

Sougo, Geiz, and Black Woz appear in a dark room

Once this form has been accessed, Sougo, Geiz, and Black Woz appear in a dark room with a large clock. Whoever the clock's hand points to is able to assume full control of Zi-OTrinity. The hand moves automatically, but Sougo can move it himself in order to take control at any time.

Zi-OTrinity is able to summon any of the weapons wielded by Zi-O, Geiz, or Woz.

Zi-OTrinity's transformation is absolute, as it can be invoked even when the components are far apart, in separate worlds or even in different timelines. If Sougo chooses to, he can instead teleport himself to any one of their locations regardless of space before initiating the actual transformation.

Zi-OTrinity consists of the following parts:

• Trinity Caliber (トリニティキャリバー, Toriniti Kyaribā) - The helmet.
  • Trinity Clock Blade (トリニティクロックブレード, Toriniti Kurokku Burēdo) - The clock hands. They serve as a sort of data acquisition system. The pink long Trinity Baryon Hand (トリニティバリオンハンド, Toriniti Barion Hando) predicts temporal information, such as enemy timing. Meanwhile, the short golden Trinity Meson Hand (トリニティメソンハンド, Toriniti Meson Hando) measures spatial information, such as the distance between Zi-OTrinity and the enemy as well as landing points of finishers. Because both hands are integrated with the Indication Trinity Eye visor, accumulated data can be transferred, which, in addition to visual information, can greatly reduce errors of a prediction.
  • Sona Crest (ソナクレスト, Sona Kuresto) - An information aggregation unit located within the 'Kamen' symbol on the forehead. It integrates and analyzes information received from various sensors, derive optimum solutions, adjust the system step of Zi-OTrinity.
  • Indication Trinity Eye (インジケーショントリニティアイ, Injikēshon Toriniti Ai) - The visor which spells out "Rider". Each color glows independently when a certain Rider's power is used (For example, the yellow portion of the visor will glow if Geiz's power is used).
  • Orb Bezel (オーブベゼル, Ōbu Bezeru) - The frame that encloses the face part. The frame is made of the special metal alloy Graphenium (グラフェニウム, Gurafeniumu), which, while flexible, maintains rigidity. The Orb Bezel is linked with the Cerberus Armor Liners to receive a soft impact.
• Breaster Zi-O (ブレスタージオウ, Buresutā Jiou) - The chest armor emblazoned with Kamen Rider Zi-O's face. Zi-O's consciousness is stored within it via biophoton extraction (バイオフォトン抽出, baiofoton chūshutsu), and it also functions as a communication device in the state where Zi-O is inactive of control over his body.
• Shoulder Geiz (ショルダーゲイツ, Shorudā Geitsu) - The right shoulder armor emblazoned Kamen Rider Geiz's face. Geiz's consciousness is stored within it via biophoton extraction, and it also functions as a communication device in the state where Geiz is inactive of control over Zi-O's body.
• Shoulder Woz (ショルダーウォズ, Shorudā Wozu) - The left shoulder armor emblazoned with the Kamen Rider Woz's face. Woz's consciousness is stored within it via biophoton extraction, and it also functions as a communication device in the state where Woz is inactive of control over Zi-O's body.
• Trinity Time Arm (トリニティタイムアーム, Toriniti Taimu Āmu) - The arms. • Cerberus Arm Liner M (サーベラスアーマライナーM, Sāberasu Āma Rainā M) - The silver band in the middle representing Zi-O himself that serves as a bio-enhancement device. It is a soft metal armor made of High Smooth Graphenium (ハイスムースグラフェニウム, Hai Sumūsu Gurafeniumu) connecting from the head to the Ziku-Driver to strengthen the midline protection without obstructing movement. There is an energy path inside, which converts the energy generated by the driver into bioenergy and supplies it to each part.
• Cerberus Arm Liner R (サーベラスアーマライナーR, Sāberasu Āma Rainā R) - The red and black band on the right side representing Geiz. Serves as a bio-enhancement device. It is a type of soft metal armor made of High Smooth Graphenium (ハイスムースグラフェニウム, Hai Sumūsu Gurafeniumu), and runs from the head to the wrist, strengthening the protection of the right side without obstructing movement. It has an energy path inside and has the role of supplying bioenergy to each part.

1. A green energy cube and a series of magenta "Kick" (キック, Kikku) characters appear and circle the enemy. Zi-OTrinity then leaps into the air as a series of yellow "Kick" (きっく, Kikku) characters line up with his foot, and the magenta characters merge into one imprint. His Rider Kick sends the enemy flying into the energy cube which then turns into a timer that detonates the instant it hits zero.
2. Zi-O Trinity runs toward the enemy as three Riders projection merge into one imprint and release a side Kick.
3. Zi-OTrinity leaps into the air, followed by three Riders projection merge into one imprint, as he accelerates his body towards the target, a series of yellow "Kick" (きっく, Kikku) characters line will appear around the target. His Rider Kick then destroys the target instantly.

Kamen Rider GrandZi-O (仮面ライダーグランドジオウ, Kamen Raidā GurandoJiō) is Zi-O's primary final form accessed with the GrandZi-O Ridewatch. It wields the power of all 20 Heisei Kamen Riders. In this form, Zi-O is adorned with statues of all the previous Heisei Riders, with his own on his crown.

GrandZi-O is unique to the modern Sougo and is exceedingly superior to his other Zi-O forms. When compared to the ability parameters of other forms, GrandZi-O surpasses all others in every category by a considerable margin. Aside from its impressive parameters, GrandZi-O can use the Rider Relief statues around its armor to activate various abilities related to the main Kamen Riders of the Heisei Era. When GrandZi-O taps a Rider Relief once, he can create a time portal that summons the chosen Rider from a specific point their timeline. However, GrandZi-O cannot summon Decade with the NeoDecadriver. When GrandZi-O taps a Rider Relief twice, he can summon any weapon from that Rider's arsenal. The Zi-O Rider Relief appears to be activated by head gesture and, when activated, is able to control the temporal position of the summoned Riders by placing or releasing them from stasis, as well as temporarily reversing their movements to set up a second attack.

GrandZi-O is directly powered by the 19 Heisei Ridewatches in his collection. As a result, any anomalies regarding the Ridewatches, such as the temporal paradox caused by possessing the Drive Ridewatch that originated from Ohma Zi-O's timeline, will drastically compromise GrandZi-O's control over the corresponding Rider's power. This affects GrandZi-O's ability to summon the Rider, as shown during his summoning of Drive during his second encounter with Ohma Zi-O, who quickly seized control of the summoned Rider. Eventually, Sougo would acquire his own Drive Ridewatch from Krim Steinbelt, enabling GrandZi-O to correct temporal anomalies and paradoxes.

Other issues afflicting this form include GrandZi-O's inability to command and control Dai Mazines and having its power restricted to the powers of the Main Heisei Riders. These factors make GrandZi-O inferior to Ohma Zi-O in overall ability.

Should any of the Ridewatches become unusable, it will immediately cancel out GrandZi-O's transformation and the Ridewatch will disappear.

GrandZi-O consists of the following parts:

• Grand Caliber A (グランドキャリバーA, Gurando Kyaribā A) - The helmet. 'A' stands for 'Analog'.
  • Grand Blade A (グランドブレードA, Gurando Burēdo A) - The clock hands of the Grand Caliber A. It is a data collection device.   • Sona Crest (ソナクレスト, Sona Kuresto) - An information aggregation unit located within the 'Kamen' symbol on the forehead. GrandZi-O can summon any Rider by connecting directly with the Rider's Records (ライダーズレコード, Raidāzu Rekōdo).
  • Ow Signal (オウシグナル, Ou Shigunaru) - The circular section where the two Grand Clock Blades meet. It integrates and analyzes information from various sensors, and derive optimal solutions to adjust the system step.
  • Indication Eye (インジケーションアイ, Injikēshon Ai) - The visor which spells out "Rider". Sensors with a 270° viewing angle are built into the compound eye.
  • GrandKamen Dial (グランドカメンダイアル, Gurando Kamen Daiaru, lit. 'Grand Mask Dial') - GrandZi-O's faceplate. It invokes an analog clock face and is made using a multilayer structure composed of the special metal alloy High-Class Graphenium (ハイクラスグラフェニウム, Hai Kurasu Gurafeniumu). The Kamen Dial is described by the TV Asahi website to have a beautiful white luster finish.
  • Rider Relief (ライダーレリーフ, Raidā Rerīfu) - GrandZi-O's crown bearing the likeness of Zi-O's statue. It is the space-time control device. Unlike other Rider Reliefs, it has a role to control Rider's Records.
  • Complication Hand (コンプリケーションハンド, Konpurikēshon Hando) - A space-time communication device atop the Rider Relief. In conjunction with the Complication Hand on both shoulders, the Rider Relief decision is reflected by multi-particle interference in Rider's Record.
  • Diginity Crash Bezel (ディグニティークラッシュベゼル, Digunitī Kurasshu Bezeru) - The golden frame surrounding the face. It is composed of Zavaldust Graphenium (ザバルダストグラフェニウム, Zabaru Dasuto Gurafeniumu), it is 1,200 times stronger than steel, and the shape that prompts the bounce receives all the shocks and bullets to the left and right blows.

• G-Strike Suit (Gストライクスーツ, G Sutoraiku Sūtsu) - GrandZi-O's bodysuit. It is the enhanced version of the Adjustrike Suit, the ability to increase physical ability has been greatly improved. The self-healing function has also been enhanced to almost zero damage accumulation. Furthermore, it is possible to fine adjustment of the supply balance by subdivision of the path, to give a paranormal force by concentrating the output at one point.

  • All Twenty Time Break (オールトウェンティータイムブレーク, Ōru Towentī Taimu Burēku): GrandZi-O summons as many Riders he needed to perform their finishing attacks to the enemy, or combine their within himself to perform a stronger finishing attack.
    • GrandZi-O summons Build in Genius Form, Gaim in Suika Arms, OOO in Gatakiriba Combo, and Kuuga in Pegasus Form riding Gouram. He first release Haoh Giri at his enemy, unfreezing them one at a time to attack in succession. First, Build performs his Genius Finish and Gaim performs the Suika Squash, followed by Kuuga performing the Blast Pegasus and finally OOO performing the Gatakiriba Kick. ^{[2017: Grand Climax!]}
    • GrandZi-O summons all of his 19 Heisei Rider predecessors, who all attack the target with their respective Rider Kicks and their Rider symbols, creating a giant energy projection. GrandZi-O then performs his own Rider Kick and destroys the enemy. ^{[2019: Tsukuyomi Confidential]}
    • GrandZi-O and Drive use Tridoron to perform a joint version of Drive's Speedrop. ^{[2019: Eternal Party]}

First, OOO and Faiz performs their Strain Doom and Photon Breaker finishers, followed by GrandZi-O and Double FangJoker jumps to the air and destroys targets with their Rider Kick finisher.

Kamen Rider Ohma Zi-O (仮面ライダーオーマジオウ, Kamen Raidā Ōma Jiō), or simply Ohma Zi-O, is Zi-O's true final form. While this final form is once used by Sougo's future self, the present-day Sougo briefly uses it after Another Decade proves too powerful for all of his previous forms. His visor reads "Rider" (ライダー, Raidā), while the logo on his forehead reads "Kamen" (カメン, "Kamen") in katakana. This form is accessed via the Ohma Zi-O Driver.

Compared to other Riders in the series, Ohma Zi-O possesses the highest stats. While Ohma Zi-O's stats are somewhat balanced, he has a tremendous kicking power, which is higher than most of Kamen Riders. He also has high punching and jumping powers, though they're still lower than that of many Legend Riders. However, it should be noted that since he has full control all of the Legend Rider Powers, he can manipulate his stats using those powers if needed. The only form of Zi-O stronger than it is OhmaForm, but possibly only in terms of physical stats.

This form wields the powers of every single Kamen Rider in existence and can command the Dai Mazines. According to the original Ohma Zi-O, this form possesses the power to not only destroy time and space itself, but to recreate everything into whatever the user wishes. It is unknown if the power to destroy time affects the existence of Ohma Zi-O himself.

Ohma Zi-O is composed of the following parts:

• Complication Caliber A (コンプリケーションキャリバーA, Konpurikēshon Kyaribā A) - The helmet
  • Transcendence Blade (トランセンデンスブレード, Toransendensu Burēdo) - The two clock hand antennae. The long Transcendence Baryon Hand (トランセンデンスバリオンハンド, Toransendensu Barion Hando) collects temporal information, such as the timing of enemy attacks while the short Transcendence Meson Hand (トランセンデンスメソンハンド, Toransendensu Meson Hando) collects spatial information such as the distance between enemies and trajectory angles.
  • Ohma Signal (オーマシグナル, Ōma Shigunaru) - The meeting point of the two Transcendence Blades. Adjusts Ohma Zi-O's systems according to information collected by the Transcendence Blades.
  • Parallel Rattrapante (パラレルラトラパンテ, Parareru Ratorapante) - The three clock-like devices on Ohma Zi-O's forehead. Allows Ohma Zi-O to sense parallel timelines and informs him of any temporal changes made to history. Also allows Ohma Zi-O to sense parallel worlds. (Note, a rattrapante is a type of chronographic device that possesses two second hands, allowing the user to time multiple events. Also known as a 'double chronograph'.)
  • Expressive Flame Eye (エクスプレッシブフレイムアイ, Ekusupuresshibu Fureimu Ai) - The red visor that spells out 'Rider' in katakana. Sensors with a 270° viewing angle is built into the compound eye. Additionally, its red coloring is due to it being in a constant state of heat, being 1000-1200°C. It can shoot out rays of heat at a maximum output.
  • Decorative Dial (デコラティブダイアル, Dekoratibu Daiaru) - Ohma Zi-O's faceplate. It is a multilayered armor structure. The top layer utilises Dark Matter Ingot (ダークマターインゴット, Dāku Matā Ingotto) as a decorative material.
  • Divine Bezel (ディバインベゼル, Dibain Bezeru) - The golden frame that surrounds Ohma Zi-O's face. It is composed of Zavaldust Graphenium (ザバルダストグラフェニウム, Zabaru Dasuto Gurafeniumu), which is 1200 times stronger than steel. Super dense diamonds are encrusted into it.
  • Core Diadem (コアダイアデム, Koa Daiademu) - The 'button' on Ohma Zi-O's left cheek. It is an information storage unit that has information on every single Kamen Rider from the Heisei era. It also stores information recorded by the Ohma Signal.
• Ohma Radiant Armor (オーマラディアントアーマー, Ōma Radianto Āmā) - Ohma Zi-O's upper torso magic armor. It is engraved with multiple decorations that channel magical energy through it (similar to Kamen Rider Wizard). It dons a special energy field titled Absolute Throne (アブソリュートスロウン, Abusoryūto Suroun), negating any damage dealt to Ohma Zi-O.
  • Ornament Slots (オーナメントスロット, Ōnamento Surotto) - Special slots for Ridewatches located on the Ohma Radiant Armor. A maximum of six Ridewatches can be plugged in. Devices known as Alternate Plugs (オルタネートプラグ, Orutanēto Puragu) are installed, allowing Ohma Zi-O to activate a Ridewatch's powers just by activating them.
  • Apocalypse of Kingdom (アポカリプス・オブ・キングダム, Apokaripusu Obu Kingudamu) - The two giant clock hands that hang on Ohma Zi-O's back. The hands themselves are titled Aparajita (アパラージタ, Aparājita). By rotating themselves on the back, the Apocalypse of Kingdom can create a sort of circular disk attack.
• Engraved Tecter (エングレイブドテクター, Engureibudo Tekutā) - Ohma Zi-O's shoulder armor. It is composed of Zalvadust Graphenium. Contains an inbuilt Sona Count Pad (ザバルダストグラフェニウム, Sona Kaunto Paddo).
• Mid Band Liner Anthem (ミッドバンドライナー・アンセム, Middo Bando Rainā Ansemu) - The silver watch strap that travels along Ohma Zi-O's entire body. It is a biological enhancement device, delivering the Ohma Zi-O Driver's inexhaustible energy into the wearer's body, giving them astonishing strength and power.
• Noble Adjustrike Suit (ノーブルアジャストライクスーツ, Nōburu Ajasutoraiku Sūtsu) - Ohma Zi-O's bodysuit. Partial shape changes, such as contraction and expansion, are regularly performed to deal maximum sharpness into an attack. Additionally, due to there being no damage accumulation, thanks to the Ohma Radiant Armor as well as having the highest quality possible self-healing function, it is possible for Ohma Zi-O to continue in battles that may exceed the limits of the wearer.
• Meridian Sash (メリディアンサッシュ, Meridian Sasshu) - The golden watch strap. It is an 'authoritative medal'. It allows Ohma Zi-O to send a 'seperate surge' (セパレートサージ, separēto sāji) boundary wave that sends all objects in comes into contact within a 4km radius into a separate dimension.
• Time Catastrophe Arm (タイムカタストロフアーム, Taimu Katasutorofu Āmu) - The arms. The built-in Nanotube Muscle (ナノチューブ筋, Nanochūbu-kin) that covers the entire arm is strengthened and pushed to the absolute limits that humans can tolerate. The addtional ultra-high Gold Compression Line (ゴールドコンプレッションライン, Gōrudo Konpuresshon Rain) restraints on the upper arm restrains the Nanotube Muscles' power, yet allows Ohma Zi-O to retain his supernatural power.
• Solemn Arm Armor (ソレムアームアーマー, Soremu Āmu Āmā) - The forearm armor. Crafted out of Dark Matter Ingot, it can freely change its weight and density, increasing punching and blowing impacts. By increasing density as per needed, the ultimate defensive strength can be obtained.
  • Sona Ridewatch Holders (ソナライドウォッチホルダー, Sona Raidou~otchi Horudā) - Golden Ridewatch Holders. Due to Ohma Zi-O's ability to pull out Ridewatches out of thin air, they appear to be mere decorative pieces.
• Ohma Causality Hand (オーマコーザリティーハンド, Ōma Kōzaritī Hando) - The hands. It (somehow) manipulates causality and allows Ohma Zi-O to manipulate surrounding objects around him as he wills.
• Time Catastrophe Leg (タイムカタストロフレッグ, Taimu Katasutorofu Reggu) - The legs. The built-in Nanotube Muscle (ナノチューブ筋, Nanochūbu-kin) that covers the entire leg is strengthened and pushed to the absolute limits that humans can tolerate. • Ohma Causality Shoes (オーマコーザリティーシューズ, Ōma Kōzaritī Shūzu) - The feet. Allows Ohma Zi-O to (somehow) manipulate causality to float in the air or walk/run at high speeds.

This form's finisher is the Ohma Zi-O Hissatsu Geki (逢魔時王必殺撃, Ōma Jiō Hissatsu Geki, lit. 'Ohma Zi-O Finishing Strike'): Zi-O channels energy into his entire body before rising into the air as a series of gold "Kick" (キック Kikku) characters appear and circle the enemy. Zi-O then performs a powerful Rider Kick with the Apocalypse of Kingdom acting as wings. Upon striking the enemy, the characters combine with Zi-O's foot and strengthen the attack to the point where he destroys the enemy.

Zi-O Kourinreki Wonder Ride Book (ジオウ降臨暦ワンダーライドブック, Jiō Kōrin Reki Wandā Raido Bukku, lit. "Zi-O Advent Calendar Wonder Ride Book") is based on Kamen Rider Zi-O and his forms. The book's name is shortened to "Zi-O" in the Swordriver's announcements. The Book's name and cover page are based on Kamen Rider Woz's Oma Advent Calendar.

Kamen Rider Zi-O Gear (仮面ライダージオウギア, Kamen Raidā Jiō Gia), this Sentai Gear based in Kamen Rider Zi-O Gives the user time manipulation abilities.

Brachio Vistamp (ブラキオバイスタンプ, Burakio Baisutanpu): Allows Revi and Vice to access their Brachio Genome. It is based on both Kamen Rider Zi-O and a Brachiosaurus.

• Junichiro Tokiwa: Sougo's uncle. Junichiro always wanted Sougo to face reality and take tests to get into a university, but he still respects Sougo's dream to become king. Junichiro is also prone to giving advice to Sougo. After Sougo reveals his alter ego as Zi-O, Junichiro was visibly shocked, but still encourage his nephew to do what he must do as a Kamen Rider.

Allies

• Tsukuyomi: Tsukuyomi is the one that first informs Sougo about his future as Ohma Zi-O. Initially believed Sougo as evil as the future Demon King, Tsukuyomi joins Geiz at watching Sougo's every moves. Eventually, as Sougo shows his kindly disposition, Tsukuyomi mellowed and became his most trusted ally. However, when he evolved into Zi-O II, she reaffirms her resolve that Sougo must be killed before ascending into Ohma Zi-O. Since she believes that Zi-O II’s power to read the future is the same as Ohma Zi-O. Despite her paranoia towards him, she can't bring herself to kill the younger Sougo and instead tries to save him from Swartz. After learning from Tsukasa that Sougo's fate as Ohma Zi-O can be rewritten, Tsukuyomi starts to believe in Sougo again.
• Geiz Myoukouin/Kamen Rider Geiz: Geiz strongly believes Sougo is Ohma Zi-O and is absolutely determined to kill him before he could become the demon king to prevent the future where Sougo supposedly becomes the tyrant that rules all with an iron fist. He refuses to call Sougo by his real name and cruelly refers to him as Ohma Zi-O. At many points in the show, Geiz shows Sougo hostility, but over the course of the story, he begins to realize that Sougo isn't as bad as he once thought. When Sougo finds himself in the future, Geiz even outright begs Sougo to give up the Ziku-Driver to prevent himself from becoming Ohma Zi-O, showcasing that his resolve to kill him has lessened greatly, and perhaps even sees him as a friend. Geiz also initially hesitate when Tsukuyomi advised him to stay away from Sougo due to his Zi-O II power. Although this might be because Sougo has information about Kikai. After Geiz acquired GeizRevive Ridewatch, their rivalry was renewed. But they also make amends after Tsukuyomi returns to them, alive and well. Sougo is also unaware of how much respect Geiz had held for him, and did not realize it until after he was gone.
• (Black) Woz: With Woz having seen his future master's history and dreams to become king, Sougo is often baffled each time Woz appears aside from delivering his speech of passing Rider powers onto him by his predecessors. Despite even when Woz briefly sided with the Time Jackers to "correct" him, Sougo doesn't even seem to mind. Nevertheless, Woz remains a loyal servant and messenger towards Sougo. Over time, Woz becomes completely supportive of Sougo goal to become a benevolent ruler, regardless of whenever that goal resulted in Ohma Zi-O or not.
• Heure: When they first met, they were on obvious opposing sides and Heure had committed acts that Sougo condemned. However as the series progressed, Heure began showing hesitation and questioned Swartz's motives. He asked Sougo for help on several occasions, which eventually he opened up to Sougo. Eventually the two became fairly close, and Heure's death enraged Sougo to the maximum. In the new timeline, he became Sougo's classmates.
• Ora: They were enemies in the original timeline. However, in the new timeline, she became Sougo's classmates.
• Swartz: Swartz is the mastermind who set Sougo on the path to becoming a king in the first place, as well as Sougo’s ultimate nemesis during the series. However, in the new timeline, he became principal of Hikarigamori High School. He also helped Sougo as Another Decade to fight against Ohma Zi-O's armies.

  • Sento Kiryu/Kamen Rider Build: The first senior rider Sougo met, Sento entrusted his past self to Sougo. They then fight together against the machinations of Super Time Jacker Tid.

  • Takeru Tenkuji/Kamen Rider Ghost: As Takeru is the only one that can see Sougo in his spirit form, Sougo trusted him to enact his plan at saving Another Ghost's host. Then, Takeru helps Sougo return to his body.
  • Tsukasa Kadoya/Kamen Rider Decade: Tsukasa provoked Sougo by saying that he will destroy his world. Tsukasa also sends Sougo into the year 2068 to witness his rule as Ohma Zi-O. After being cornered by Zi-O and Geiz however, he escaped with the promise to fight him again in a foreseeable future. But, actually Tsukasa's true motive is to destroy Zi-O's world if he ever becomes Ohma Zi-O. Tsukasa later appears to help Sougo against Another Zi-O II and his army of Another Riders, and somewhat becoming an uneasy mentor for him.
  • Shinji Kido/Kamen Rider Ryuki: It was Shinji who taught Sougo that he must accept his dark side in order for him to move on from the past. Later, Sougo is happy to see Shinji reunited with the latter's boss.

  • Rentaro Kagura: He met Sougo in a dream and helped him choose his own future and resist Swartz.
  • Mondo Douan: Sougo defended and saved him from Geiz, but later it turned out that the power of Quiz is needed for the Ridewatches.
  • Rento Makina: Sougo develops a good friendship with Rento as the latter saves him from Humanoise as Kikai. Sougo was also horrified as Kikai was unwillingly brainwashed to kill him. After Sougo undoes Rento’s reprogramming, Rento thanked him. It was revealed that Rento was the physical manifestation of Sougo's toy robot who was his only friend in his childhood.

Enemies

• Ohma Zi-O: When Sougo first learned of Ohma Zi-O through Tsukuyomi, he initially didn't believe her. When he does believe her claim, he becomes determined to change his fate, but he otherwise still remains skeptical of how dangerous Ohma Zi-O is according to her and Geiz. It wasn't until a proper meeting when he was sent to the future that he understood the reason why he was feared. Sougo despises what his future self has become, and is even more determined to change his fate. However, this results Sougo unable to keep his cool whenever facing Ohma Zi-O in combat. Ohma Zi-O on the other hand, didn't see Sougo as a threat, even after Sougo obtains GrandZi-O Ridewatch. However, Ohma Zi-O still aids his younger self and didn't really intend to kill him, presumably to secure his own existence as well.
• White Woz: Being Woz from a different timeline where his future self was dethroned, the other Woz sees Sougo as a threat due to the fact that White Woz's loyalty lies with GeizRevive. White Woz, however, doesn't see Sougo as a big hindrance, until Sougo becomes Zi-O II. Ironically, Sougo is the one behind White Woz’s redemption, to the point that White Woz willingly gives Sougo his Zi-O II Ridewatch, GeizRevive Ridewatch, and the newly created Zi-OTrinity Ridewatch. White Woz also show his interest in Sougo’s possibility to alter the future to his counterpart, moments before he is erased from the timeline. White Woz willingness to help Sougo was shown even after his revival by Swartz, although he simply cover it up by his loyalty to Geiz.
• Hiryu Kakogawa: Hiryu thought that his parents were dead in a bus accident in 2009 because of Sougo, vividly remembering a woman in white dress aiming her gun at Sougo. Since then, Hiryu hates Sougo with a passion, even going as far to become Another Zi-O, just to kill him. Sougo then advises Hiryu to stop dwelling in the past and keep moving forward. However, Hiryu took it as an insult and became more hateful towards Sougo when they met again when the timeline was altered. In the end, Sougo had no choice but defeat him once more using GrandZi-O.
• Tsutomu Tsuzumiya: Tsutomu is Sougo's childhood friend, who dreams to become an Oni. Due to both of them having a seemingly 'absurd' dream, they supported each other.
• Yuko Kitajima: Yuko is mistaken by Sougo as his first love from when he was still in elementary school. Despite this, Yuko's shown to have a soft spot to him. she affectionately calls him a cute boy, tending his wounds and pinching his chin as a gesture. Sougo also don't mind shielding her from enemies’ attack, even after knowing her identity as Another Kiva. It is shown that both of them develop a romantic relationship, to the point of Yuko indirectly proposes Sougo to marry her. Although Sougo later learns that Yuko is not his first love, he still hesitant to attack her. Upon Yuko’s demise by the hand of Ora, Sougo grieves over her dead body, showing that despite their short-lived relationship, he had grown fond of her.

  • Kuroto Dan/Kamen Rider Genm/Another OOO: Sougo serves Kuroto to complete his ambition of becoming king, but soon betrays him because he believes that a king must care about people (which Kuroto does not). Sougo also thinks he is the only king the world needs.

Portrayal

Sougo Tokiwa is portrayed by So Okuno (奥野 壮, Okuno Sō). As Kamen Rider Zi-O, his suit actor is Seiji Takaiwa (高岩 成二, Takaiwa Seiji), who has been the leading suit actor for the majority of the main Heisei Riders (minus Kuuga and Hibiki). Zi-O is Takaiwa's final suit acting role for the main Rider.

As the leading rider protagonist of Kamen Rider Zi-O, Zi-O is labeled Kamen Rider #35 (仮面ライダー35号, Kamen Raidā Sanjūgogō) and Heisei Rider #20 (平成ライダー20号, Heisei Raidā Nijūgō).

Etymology

Sougo Tokiwa's name is play on Tokiwa-sō, the place where Shotaro Ishinomori lived and started his manga career during 1956 to 1961. "Tokiwa" also carries the word (とき, Toki), which can be translated into time when it is written in kanji "時". If matching his kanji, it was named after (常盤桜 Tokiwazakura), which it means primrose.
