This article is about a vehicle in Kamen Rider W. |
Skullgarry (スカルギャリー, Sukarugyarī) is a high-speed Armored Transporter (アーマード・トランスポーター, Āmādo Toransupōtā)[1] exclusively for Kamen Rider Skull, designed and developed by Shroud as a self-propelled retrofit transport machine. It is stored in the basement of the Narumi Detective Office. The Skullgarry only appears in the Kamen Rider Skull: Message for Double, portion of Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider OOO & W Featuring Skull: Movie War Core.
Overview[]
It is a machine that closely resembles Revolgarry and has an appearance that imitates a skull. It receives a call from Skull's Stag Phone, activates it, and rushes to the scene by autopilot. The front of the vehicle is shaped like a huge skeleton, with a T-shaped anchor-shaped Front Bumper (フロントバンパー, Furonto Banpā) at the tip, and a giant Engine Unit (エンジンユニット, Enjin Yunitto) with multiple Mufflers (マフラー, Mafurā) connected to the rear of the vehicle. After closing the Hatch (ハッチ, Hatchi), the Skullgarry is activated by a heavy machine such as a Jack (ジャッキ, Jakki) in the garage, and the suspended Engine Unit is lowered and set. It can be seen that it is a process that takes more time and effort, and it shown that the technology at that time was still incomplete compared to Revolgarry[2].
Notes[]
- The user, Sokichi Narumi, calls it a "Monster Machine" (怪物マシン, Kaibutsu Mashin) because of its appearance.[1]
- Later, the replacement parts were expanded and refurbished to Revolgarry.[1]
- Both Skullgarry and Skullboilder are originally applications of the Dopant support mechanism that Shroud devised when she was in Museum.[1]
- There is a difference that the tires of Revolgarry are 8 wheels, whereas this one has 6 wheels.
- Like Skullboilder, after the death of Sokichi, Shroud strengthened and remodeled it and W inherited Revolgarry.
- According to Futo Tantei, it seems that remodeling was proceeding in parallel with Skullboilder. After escaping from the Museum's research island and arriving at the basement, the final renovation to Revolgarry was just finished in front of Shotaro's eyes.
