Shun Sugata (菅田 俊, Sugata Shun) played the tenth Kamen Rider, Ryo Murasame/Kamen Rider ZX, in the TV special, Birth of the 10th! Kamen Riders All Together!! (1984). ZX previously appeared in a eponymous manga series and a radio drama where he was voiced by Akira Kamiya. However, Kamen Rider ZX did not have his own TV series. He even played Ryuzaburou Tatewaki/Bill Goldy in Tokusou Robot Janperson on episodes 3-4, and 31- 49. He reprised his role on Episodes 52-53 of Juukou B-Fighter.
Previously, Shun auditioned for the part of the titular rider of Kamen Rider Super-1 and had an appearance in episode 39
of Denshi Sentai Denziman
Despite ZX going on to make later minor appearances, including in recent crossover movies, Shun Sugata did not appear in any media until he reprised his role in the 2014 film Heisei Rider vs. Showa Rider: Kamen Rider Taisen feat. Super Sentai.
