This article is about a character in Kamen Rider Saber. |
- For the real-life individual this character is based on, see Shotaro Ishinomori.
Shotaro Ishinomori (石ノ森 章太郎, Ishinomori Shōtarō), also known as the Mysterious Boy (謎の少年, Nazo no Shōnen), is a young high-school student and amateur manga artist who is manipulated by Asmodeus to erase the Kamen Riders and Super Sentai from history.
History[]
When Touma Kamiyama arrived in Zenkaitopia, he encountered a mysterious boy named Shotaro who paralyzed a monster with just his pen. Shotaro had also grew fond with Mei Sudo, who reminded him of his late older sister. He accompanied Touma as they continued to venture into the other stories and meet past Kamen Riders and Super Sentai. While the boy sketches the heroes he met, he complained they weren't what he wanted to draw. He was manipulated by Asmodeus to erase the heroes, and he disappeared with them.
After seemingly returning back to his reality, Shotaro drew a manga modeled on the events up to that point. Touma found him and motivates Shotaro continue drawing heroes as he is the "god" of the heroes that will continue in the future. This inspires him to create Kamen Rider 1 and Akarenger, subsequently restoring the Kamen Riders and Super Sentai for the final showdown against Asmodeus' army. After meeting with Takeshi Hongo himself, Shotaro returns back to his world, inspired to tell his stories.
