The Shocker Riders (ショッカーライダー, Shokkā Raidā) are Shocker's new soldiers in Kamen Rider: The Next, being based on the Double Riders in design.
History[]
The six Shocker Riders and Chainsaw Lizard arrive to carry out the task of executing Hongo, forcing him to reveal himself as Kamen Rider 1 to Kotomi Kikuma before escaping his hunters. Making their way to his holiday home to meet Kazami, Hongo and Kotomi soon learn that he in league with Shocker as Chainsaw Lizard and the Shocker Riders battle Kamen Rider on as Shiro Kazami joins the fray as a Shocker Inhumanoid code-named "V3".
After chasing down Rider 1 in a high speed chase across the countryside, V3 and the Shocker Riders take down Rider 1 until Kamen Rider 2 re-appears to cover Rider 1's escape. Rider 1 arrives to intercept the convoy while battling Scissors Jaguar, the mastermind behind the Nanobot Operation, with Rider 2 arriving to back him up as the battle brings to the Legend of Gathering in an all out fight for the nanobots.
Though the Double Riders were overwhelmed, the tables are turned as V3 arrived to support them and the Shocker Riders are defeated by the three Riders. [Kamen Rider The Next]
Suit's Design[]
This Shocker Riders' suit is a separate type (outerwear and pants are separate) like Rider 1's, but the armor on the shoulders and elbows is attached to the inside of the fabric like Rider 2's, and they has the style between Rider 1 and Rider 2. Their mask has the same design as Rider 1 and Rider 2 (only the shape of the antennae are different), also has the same white color design as Rider 2. The color of the mask's protector part, gloves and boots is gold-colored olive drab, the compound eyes is dark green, and the muffler is yellow, for all six.
Powers and capabilities[]
As nanobot enhanced cyborgs, the Shocker Riders prove themselves to be very deadly soldiers, each matching the Double Riders in pure strength and speed. Lacking their predecessors' skill and willpower, the Shocker Riders often act as support in battle, following any command given by their superiors.

Portrayal[]
The Shocker Riders seen in Kamen Rider The Next were voiced by Katsumi Shiono (塩野 勝美, Shiono Katsumi), who also voiced the Shocker Combatmen in that movie as well as in Kamen Rider The First. In the flesh, they were portrayed by unidentified male suit actors.

Notes[]
- In this work, they are not from Gel Shocker, but the original Shocker (similar to the original Ishinomori manga version).
- Possibly due to their designs as mass-produced models, the Shocker Riders appear to be less durable than the Double Riders, one losing its leg from Chainsaw Lizard's attack, with another having its arm pierced by Takeshi's nerve blow.
