Shiori Harima (針馬 汐里, Harima Shiori) was an investigator from the Alchemys Union who transformed into the Spider Malgam.
History[]
Shiori appeared in the classroom with Licht Kugimiya, as they were sent by the Alchemys Union to investigate the recent theft of numerous Blank Cards. They told the students that there was a spy among the organization, and they were sent to flush out the spy. Later on, it was revealed that she was the spy, using forbidden alchemy to her bidding, wanting to become an unstoppable alchemist and joined the Three Dark Sisters under her own volition, believing that opening the Door of Darkness would make her powerful and change the world and that the Alchemy Union’s Higher-Ups have become senile and foolish and exclaimed that they were to be blamed for the incident 10 years ago. As the Dark Sisters arrived, she was excited to see them, but as they told that her usefulness was up, Atropos disintegrated her, with her yelling that she didn't want to die as she disappeared.
Personality[]
Shiori initially appeared as a polite and energetic woman eager to help find the spy of the academy. But after she was revealed as the second Spider Malgam, she threw away the facade, showing her sadistic side, using dark, forbidden alchemy to help the Three Dark Sisters; as she showed loyalty and admiration to them.
In her true colors, she was shown to be vile and power-hungry as she strived to become the most powerful and unstoppable alchemist, with it being the very reason she wanted to help the sisters open the Door of Darkness believing that they will help her reach that goal, not fearing consequences it could have created to others and even herself. She also expressed her deep hatred for the Alchemy Union Higher-Ups and blamed them for the horrible incident from 10 years ago, while not fearing said incident.
However, she falls in deep despair after she learned that Three Dark Sisters saw her as nothing but a tool for a means to an end, meaning that everything she had gone through was all for naught as Atropos disintegrated her.

- Web Creation: Spider Malgam can shoot a sticky, strong web to create the trap for its victim from its arms. Spider Malgam also can create a thread from web to tie up its victim.
- Red Web Creation: When Shiori become Spider Malgam, it can shoot an enhanced red variation of web which is stronger than normal spider web due to Shiori's alchemy power.
- Eye Beam: Spider Malgam can shoot a red beam from its eyes on the chest to attack the target.

Etymology[]
- Harima's name contains the kanji for "needle" (針, Hari), which fits the metal element naming of the Alchemys Union members.
