Shinjiro Shinozaki (篠崎 真二郎, Shinozaki Shinjirō) is Rintaro Shindo's biological father who transformed into Kamen Rider Falchion (仮面ライダーファルシオン, Kamen Raidā Farushion).
History[]
Background[]
At some point in the past, Shinjiro Shinozaki had gotten married, with his wife giving birth to Rintaro Shindo. However his job had required him to travel across the world to which he was often not home, leading to estrangement between him and his family. Though Shinjiro supposedly never contacted his son again after his wife's death, he kept tabs of his son's whereabouts and adult identity as a member of the Sword of Logos.
At some point after Rintaro became Kamen Rider Blades, his battles with the other Kamen Riders against the Megid caused major casualties to the people whom Shinjiro was protecting. Wanting to avenge those lives, he met with Mamiya and was given a duplicate of Mumeiken Kyomu to help exact his plans to erase the memories of the swordsmen.
Kamen Rider Saber: Trio of Deep Sin[]
Now armed with a new power, Shinjiro revealed his identity to his long-lost son and offered him an opportunity to work together and reunite. However, Rintaro's determination to challenge against his own father's ideals results in a rooftop duel. During the battle, Shinjiro showed Rintaro a terrifying illusion of the victims from the swordsmen's battles, but he managed to overcome his inner doubts and transforms into Blades Tategami Hyoujuusenki to vanquish Falchion in battle.
Defeated, Shinjiro proudly hugs his son for the first time as he coughs up blood. After his death, Rintaro vanishes from existence. After Mamiya rewrote reality, the events that followed the last eight years was undone and Shinjiro was restored back to life. He passed by Rintaro, but kept a distance from him as he was glad to see his son being happy.
Personality[]
A man who is firm in his beliefs. He carries a deep-seated guilt for the people who have died due to his actions and wishes to atone for it. He believes that those who wield power are at fault for the unnecessary loss of innocent lives and wants to get rid of them as a form of atonement. The only exception to this is his son Rintaro, who he couldn't bring himself to erase. However, he is willing to fight his son in a literal duel of ideals. At the end, he shows that he deeply cherishes his son despite everything.
