This article is about a/an ally/device in Kamen Rider Drive.

Based on an ambulance, Shift Mad Doctor (シフトマッドドクター Shifuto Maddo Dokutā) is a sentient Type Wild Shift Car which allows Drive to gain the Mad Doctor Shift Tire, equipping him with the the Cure Quicker to heal either himself or other civilians. If used in Mashin Chaser's Break Gunner, it allows him (or in this case, Kiriko) to heal anyone the Destruction Nozzle touches via a painful yet healing defibrillation-like pulse of energy. However, it was revealed that fighting against poisons that created by Over Evolved Roidmudes like Brain can be proven futile.

In lieu of the usual Justice Hunter, Mad Doctor was at times seen attached to the Shift Car Holder worn by Kiriko Shijima, protecting her from the Heavy Acceleration.

Usage

Character History

Poisoned by the Roidmude Brain, Shinnosuke Tomari was assisted by Kiriko Shijima in assuming Type Speed Doctor to receive treatment. Though Mad Doctor and the Cure Quicker were able to quickly cure Shinnosuke of the affliction, the treatment proved extremely painful. Who Does the Warrior Fight For?

In the timeline rewritten by the History Modifying Machine where Shocker dominated the Earth, Shinnosuke Tomari sent forth the Mad Doctor Shift Tire from Tridoron to rescue Kamen Rider Wizard, who had been blasted off his Machinewinger by Kamen Rider 3's TriCyclone during the Rider Grand Prix. Shift Get Mad Doctor

Shift Get Mad Doctor (シフトゲットマッドドクター Shifuto Getto Maddo Dokutā) is a hypothetical cosmetic upgrade of Shift Mad Doctor, following the example set by Shift High Speed and Shift Mega Max Flare. Type HIGH SPEED! The True Power! Type High Speed is Born!

As with the majority of the "upgraded" Shift Cars, Get Mad Doctor exists only as a sound programmed into the DX Drive Driver.

Full Throttles

  • Type Speed Doctor's Full Throttle "finisher" makes Drive hover in the air as medical equipment from the Cure Quicker appears around him, which is then used to remove whatever ailment is affecting him, such as poison. The downside is that, true to its name, Mad Doctor's healing is excruciatingly painful.

  • Like Drive, when Deadheat Mach Naorl initiates a Full Throttle, the Cure Quicker will make him hover in the air as medical equipment appears from it to surround him and remove whatever ailment is affecting him, such as poison. However, during the healing process, he will experience excruciating pain.
