Separate Volume Kamen Rider Saber Manga: Kamen Rider Buster (別冊 仮面ライダーセイバー 萬画 仮面ライダーバスター, Bessatsu Kamen Raidā Seibā Manga Kamen Raidā Basutā) is a Japanese manga series set within the continuity of Kamen Rider Saber, serving to explore the origin and backstory of Ryo Ogami.
The series was serialized as an TTFC-exclusive for six chapters from February 28, 2021 to May 30, 2021. A physical one-volume compilation of the series was included with the Blu-Ray of Kamen Rider Saber: Final Stage on March 23, 2022.[1]
Synopsis[]
In the first chapter, Ryo Ogami is an old-fashioned but powerful brawler living a high school life, alongside his childhood friend and student council president Haruka Kiritani, who he is in love with. One day when buying his favorite soda from a vending machine, he finds a mysterious item under it, a Wonder Ride Book by the name of "Genbu Shinwa"...

- Chapters 1-3 take place twenty years before the events of the series, placing it approximately four years before the events of Sword of Logos Saga.
- Chapter 4 explicitly takes place 11 years after the events of the previous chapter, placing it approximately seven years after the The Sword of Logos Tragedy and eight years before the events of the series.
- Chapter 5 explicitly takes place two years after the events of the previous chapter, placing it approximately nine years after the tragedy and six years before the events of the series.

- Yuki Ikushima, the actor who portrays Ryo in the show proper was given an opportunity to read the manga before its official release. He commented that he was happy the manga was drawn beautifully, while staying faithful in its portrayal of Ryo. He also stated that the manga will delve into the mysteries of Sora's mother as well as how Ryo met his wife.
