The Transformation Belt Seiken Saikou Driver[1] (変身ベルト 聖剣サイコウドライバー, Henshin Beruto Seiken Saikō Doraibā, lit. "Transformation Belt Holy Sword Saikou Driver"), or simply the Saikou Driver, is the transformation device used by Kamen Rider Saikou.
Design[]
The Seiken Saikou Driver is composed of the following parts:
- Saikou Crysta (サイコウクリスタ, Saikō Kurisuta) - The barrier generator. By unfolding the veil of light, it protects the main body and keeps the presence of evil away.
- Arausalt (アラウザルト, Arauzaruto) - The awakening device of the Kougouken Saikou. By unfolding, the Seiken Kougouken Saikou awakens.
- Saikou Shelf (サイコウシェルフ, Saikō Sherufu) - The base of the Kougouken where the Wonder Ride Book is placed in. It draws power from the Wonder Ride Book and transmits it to the Seiken.
- Tradio Ride (トラーディオライド, Torādio Raido) - The driver's starting device on top. It has the role of a starter that activates each part by hitting it with the Ride Signum of the Seiken Kougouken Saikou.
- Solis Fullgol (ソーリスフルゴル, Sōrisu Furugoru) - The driver's energy generator. By operating the two units at the same time using the oldest manufacturing method, the energy of the universe contained in the Wonder Ride Book is extracted to generate "Wonder Elemental'" (ワンダーエレメンタル, Wandā Erementaru) with the characteristics of activating swordsmen and various equipment.
- Shadow Shelf (シャドーシェルフ, Shadō Sherufu) - The part for storing the Wonder Ride Book. It has the role of drawing power from the Wonder Ride Book and communicating it to the Seiken.
- Guard Binding (ガードバインディング, Gādo Baindingu) - The driver's exterior. It uses strong armor material that is also used for the cover of Wonder Ride Book. Boasting strength that can withstand battle, it has the role of preventing all attacks and protecting the built-in equipment.
- Saikou Driver Belt (サイコウドライバーベルト, Saikō Doraibā Beruto) - The belt. Deploy at the same time as the buckle body appears and fix it to the user's waist.
Functionality[]
Transformation[]
To transform, the user must flip the blade parts open while it's still docked within the Saikou Driver. This will allow the user to insert the corresponding Wonder Ride Book onto the slot provided within the Kougouken Saikou. The user then pulls the Kougouken Saikou from the Saikou Driver, opening the Wonder Ride Book. This will result in the user being absorbed into the Kougouken Saikou in form of light particles, finishing the transformation.
To transform into Saikou X-Sword Man, the user must first summon Saikou Shadow. This will allow the user to insert the corresponding Wonder Ride Book into the Shadow Shelf and press the Tradio Ride using the Kougouken Saikou's Ride Signum. The user is then surrounded by several pieces of colored comic panels that attaches themselves onto Saikou Shadow's body, finishing the transformation. The transformation can be further shortened by inserting the X Sword Man Wonder Ride Book into the Driver immediately after removing Kougouken Saikou, with the transference into the Seiken, formation of Saikou Shadow, and the comic panels attaching in quick succession. Additionally, the user can press the Tradio Ride one more time to set the transformation into X-Sword Man Powerful, in which the panels concentrated in Saikou Shadow left arm to form the X-Sword Edge blade. The user can also press the Tradio Ride two more times to set the transformation into X-Sword Man Wonderful, in which the panels concentrated in Saikou Shadow right leg to form a boot-like armament.
Finisher[]

When Saikou is only using the Kin no Buki Gin no Buki Wonder Ride Book, his finishers are executed by the Kougouken Saikou. In his X-Sword Man forms, however, he can also close the X Sword Man Wonder Ride in the Seiken Saikou Driver, open it back up to the story page, and then press the button on top of the belt between 1 and 3 times depending on which form Saikou is in to execute a finisher.

Portrayal[]
The Seiken Saikou Driver is voiced by Akio Otsuka (大塚 明夫, Ōtsuka Akio), who has voiced various characters in Super Sentai, including Hades God Dagon
in Mahou Sentai Magiranger and Champ/Oushi Black in Uchu Sentai Kyuranger. The vocal section is provided by singer Eizo Sakamoto (坂本 英三, Sakamoto Eizou).[2]

- The belt piece is a repainted version of the Jaken Caliburdriver. This is fitting, as both swords are among the very first Seiken to be ever made.
