Saigo Mikami (魅上才悟, Mikami Saigo) is a member of Justice Ride who transforms into Kamen Rider Saigo (仮面ライダー才悟, Kamen Raidā Saigo).

History[]

Saigo was born on January 23. 2 years ago, he had undergone human modification and was sent to the A Class of the 5th Generation in Rider Academy. Unlike his classmate, he has no memory of his past life before entering the academy.

Personality[]

A cool and quiet young man, Saigo does not have many emotional ups and downs, which is a result of him not used to communicating. However this does not stop him from asking questions about things he does not understand. Saigo also has a hobby of collecting insects and plants.

Abilities[]

Expert Combatant: Saigo is well versed in multiple forms of martial arts, including Taijutsu.
Water Guessing: Saigo can guess the brand of water he is drinking.

Kamen Rider Saigo (仮面ライダー才悟, Kamen Raidā Saigo) is the normal form accessed by activating the Chaos Driver with Saigo's Chaos Ring.

During the first transformed, the marking of Chaos Riders was seen on the face of Saigo. When Saigo surppressed the rampage of the rider system, the marking faded away and the mask was activated. ^{[Saigo Mikami of Innocence]}

This form's finisher is the Final Riding Shoot (ファイナルライディングシュート, Fainaru Raidingu Shūto).

Saigo Mikami is voiced by Rikuya Yasuda (安田陸矢, Yasuda Rikuya).

Etymology[]

"Saigo" is a pun on "last" (最後, Saigo), which is the opposite of "#1" (1号, Ichi-Gō). The name itself means "Genius-Enlightment", likely fitting his sense of justice and his role as the leader of the Justice Ride.

Notes[]

Kamen Rider Saigo's design primarily pays homage to Kamen Rider 1 from the original 1971 series, though there are also minor hints to Kamen Rider Ichi-Gata from the film Kamen Rider: Reiwa The First Generation such as the energy "muffler" and the mechanical armor in Saigo's Rider design.
- Saigo's civilian attire hints at being based on New 1 with all of its colors (black, white, green and silver) except for red. The most notable aspect is the athletic sweatpants that Saigo wears, as they have a stripe going down the sides of the legs much like on Hongo’s New 1 design.
