Saigetsu (サイゲツ) was a high-ranking member of Hundred who transformed into Kamen Rider Dark Kiva (仮面ライダーダークキバ, Kamen Raidā Dāku Kiba), Kamen Rider Ark-Zero (仮面ライダーアークゼロ, Kamen Raidā Āku Zero), and Kamen Rider Ark-One (仮面ライダーアークワン, Kamen Raidā Ākuwan).
History
Saigetsu became a member of Hundred and copied the powers of Dark Kiva at some point.
Invading Gotchard's World
He appears before Houtaro's group at a random street, sending numerous Kasshine to attack civilians and ordering Mimei to deal with Rinne Kudo and Supana Kurogane
First Death

After his first defeat as Dark Kiva by Legendary Legend, he is given a second chance by the Hundred Superiors and given the Ark Driver. He finds Kaguya wandering aimlessly and attacks him as Ark-Zero, who transforms into Gorgeous Decade Complete and summons Den-O Liner Form to defeat Saigetsu, but the latter generates the Ark-One Progrisekey by evading the finishing attack and transforms into Ark-One then proceeds to overwhelm Kaguya before Iron Gotchard stops Ark-One finishing blow. After Houtaro talks to Kaguya, they transform into Platina Gotchard & Gorgeous Zero-Two to defeat Saigetsu. He returns to his superiors and gets turned into a Dooms Clock as punishment for his failure to defeat Legend.

Saigestu is revived the last time by Gigist's use of the Ark-One Progrisekey, and he later desperately searches for Kaguya to finally enact his revenge, later overpowering Legend, Gotchard Steamhopper, Majade Sununicorn & Valvarad after becoming the Ark-One Malgam. Houtaro then came back with Kaguya to defeat Saigetsu, this time for good, as Platina Gotchard & Legendary Legend. After his defeat, the duo also destroy the Dooms Clock.
Personality
Saigetsu is a cold-blooded person as he doesn't treat anyone other than himself as human beings; and although he has a cold tone, his bellicose temperament can be seen through out his words.
As Saigetsu was repeatedly defeated by Kamen Rider Legend many times, he gradually lost his calmness and it turned into anger and hatred for Kaguya. This was reflected in the fighting style and tone of voice after his transformation into Ark-Zero and Ark-One, which also grabbed the attention of Gigist, allowing him to use Saigetsu's strong malice to create Ark-One Malgam.
After transforming into Ark-One Malgam, his personality becomes more arrogant and addicted to the power of the Chemies imbued with him, and his tone of voice also becomes much more frivolous.
Commonly, Saigetsu often declares to "scrap" his opponents in battle.

Dark Kiva's primary form is accessed by biting himself on the neck with Kivat-Bat the 2nd before attaching the latter onto the Dark Kivat Belt. Saigetsu is able to handle the stress of the powers of Dark Kiva, due to being a high ranking member of Hundred, and using a copy of a Rider power to do so.
Kamen Rider Dark Kiva has the following parts:
- King's Persona (キングス・ペルソナ, Kingusu Perusona): Dark Kiva's helmet. The bat-like wings on the head are called "Zenon Stabilizers", and spreads the stress on the user's brain by maximizing the demonic power of the user and armor.
- Darkness Breast (ダークネスブレスト, Dākunesu Buresuto): A depressant called Darkness Tar is applied to the armor to control the demonic power which is amplified by the 3 Demon Emperor Stones to prevent self destruction. The silver stripe in the center is called the Satan's Vessel (サタンベッセル, Satan Besseru). It is an energy conduit which is connected to Kivat-Bat II to control the demonic power.
- Demon Emperor Stone (魔皇石, Ma Ō Ishi): Like Kiva Emperor Form, the stones control the air, water and Earth, and amplifies the strength of the user by ten. The purity is higher than Emperor Form's 3 stones and has stronger amplification powers.
- Darkness Veil (ダークネスベール, Dākunesu Bēru): The cape. It can neutralize all physical attacks in the world. By swinging the cape, Dark Kiva can generate a blade of darkness to penetrate enemy defenses.
- Satan Mail (サタンメイル, Satan Meiru): The undersuit made of GaoraDoran leather. The material is rare, and it is made using the finest quality 1200 year-old Doran leather, and boasts 3 times the defense of Kiva's armor.
- Bloody Shoulder (ブラッディショルダー, Buraddi Shorudā): The shoulder armor made of polished Bloody Stone, has a blade that is sharp enough to cut like a razor with just a touch. It functions as armor and a powerful weapon in close combat.
- Bloody Armor (ブラッディアーマー, Buraddi Āmā): The bright crimson armor made of Bloody Stone. It is said it is not possible to refine it further, it stores demonic power and combines the power with the user.
- Stabilize Shadow (スタビライズシャドー, Sutabiraizu Shadō): The black lines on the Bloody Armor. They are restraint bands made of Darkness Tar with the purpose of cooling down the demonic power to protect the user from being overpowered and self destructing as a result.

- Darkness Hell Crash (ダークネスヘルクラッシュ, Dākunesu Heru Kurasshu): Referred to by Kivat-Bat the 2nd as "Wake Up One," Dark Kiva crosses his arms as the environment is filled with a dark red fog. He then jumps into the air towards a red moon in the sky, spinning vertically before diving down at his opponent with a powerful punch.
- King's Burst End (キングスバーストエンド, Kingusu Bāsuto Endo): Referred to by Kivat-Bat the 2nd as "Wake Up Two," Dark Kiva crosses his arms as the environment is filled with a dark red fog. He then jumps into the air towards a red moon in the sky, spinning vertically and floats in front of it as his visor glows. He then dives down with a green energy bat around his legs, performing a strong kick attack.
- King's World End (キングスワールドエンド, Kingusu Wārudo Endo): Referred to by Kivat-Bat the 2nd as "Wake Up Three," a self-destruct attack with an unknown amount of power. It is performed in two different methods:
- Dark Kiva crosses his arms as the environment is filled with a dark red fog. He then jumps into the air and floats in front of a red moon as his visor begins to glow a bright green. He then creates a large black Kiva Riders' Crest in the sky, causing it to expand with immense amounts of energy. However, this finisher was not successfully performed due to the Legend Kamen Riser's interference.
- Dark Kiva crosses his arms as the environment is filled with a dark red fog and a large black Kiva Riders' Crest appeared behind him as his visor begins to glow a bright green. He then creates a dark orb of immense energy and launches it at the enemy. However, this finisher lost in a clash with Legendary Legend's finisher.

Saigetsu transforms into Kamen Rider Ark-Zero using the Ark Driver-Zero. Since the Ark Driver is a copy created by Hundred, Saigetsu can transform without the Ark's influence.
Kamen Rider Ark-Zero is composed of the following parts:
- Ark-Zero Head (アークゼロヘッド, Āku Zero Heddo) - The helmet.
- Zero Face (ゼロフェイス, Zero Feisu): The face armor. It is equipped with an ultra-high-performance antenna and a visual/auditory device that are premised on AI processing. As for the shape, the minimum elements as a Kamen Rider are extracted based on statistical data, and rearranged efficiently.
- Eclipse Eye (エクリプスアイ, Ekuripusu Ai): The visual device on the right side. It is a collection of image sensors of different methods in a compound eye shape. By combining with image processing, various information such as thermography and X-ray photography can be extracted.
- Zero Face Vision (ゼロフェイスビジョン, Zero Feisu Bijon): The image information collection device on the left side. By invading the network, it collects video data from reconnaissance satellites, security cameras in the facility, AI-equipped devices such as Humagear. As a result, every place can have its own field of view.
- Zero Face Ear (ゼロフェイスイヤー, Zero Feisu Iyā): The voice information collection device. In addition to the auditory sensor that boasts a sound collection range of 10 km in radius, it will collect voice data from communication devices such as mobile phones and AI-equipped devices such as Humagear by entering the network. By filtering the collected data, any sound can be extracted and heard.
- Zero Face Antennae (ゼロフェイスアンテナ, Zero Feisu Antena): The single antennae. The directionality is changed according to the environment, and a smart antenna that can simultaneously send and receive multiple types of enormous information, such as communication with various electronic devices and radar function, is adopted. In addition to hacking various electronic devices from here, human control is performed using special interference waves that manipulate brain waves.
- Ark Signal Zero (アークシグナル ゼロ, Āku Shigunaru Zero): The red gem on the forehead, which serves as the control device for the Ark-Zero system. The forced interruption program "Prisonment Chain" (プリズメントチェイン, Purizumento Chein) checks the operating efficiency and malfunctions by intervening in the control system of the Humagear under control, and makes adjustments as necessary to bring out the limits of the functions.
- Zero Chest Gear (ゼロチェストギア, Zero Chesuto Gia): The chest armor. It possesses the Worm Terminal (ワームターミナル, Wāmu Tāminaru) and the Restraint Cable (リストレントケーブル, Risutorento Kēburu) that can penetrate into various devices with excellent penetrating power, allowing it to create a bypass path with a controlled Humagear. As a result, the efficiency of information transmission and the energy flow rate can be increased to enhance the function of the Humagear from the inside.
- Zero Tector (ゼロテクター, Zero Tekutā): The powered bodysuit. Similar to Kamen Rider Zero-One's MetalCluster Hopper "Amalgamate Tector", the Zero Tector is formed by enclosing the target with liquid metal released from the Ark Driver-Zero. The special metal possesses excellent toughness and wear resistance is filled with fluid metal as it is, and functions as armor while maintaining flexibility.
- Zero Shoulder Gear (ゼロショルダーギア, Zero Shorudā Gia): The shoulder armor. One miniaturized particle accelerator is mounted on each shoulder. Each group shares the nuclei and electrons, accelerates to sublight speed, and supplies them to the "zero hand gear" of the hand part to form a part of the heavy charged particle cannon.
- Marchinis Arm (マーキニースアーム, Mākinīsu Āmu): The arms. It possesses the power cable "M string" (Mストリング, M Sutoringu) from the Zero Tector is stretched around like a human nerve, and forcibly controls the arm of the Humagear from the outside. As a result, it becomes possible to exhibit high motility that exceeds the potential of the Humagear placed under control.
- Zero Hand Gear (ゼロハンドギア, Zero Hando Gia): The gloves. The sharp armor of the fingertips "Spite Nail" (スパイトネイル, Supaito Neiuru) has the function of generating attractive force by partially reversing the barrier deployed from the "Zero Thigh Gear" of the thigh, and strongly adsorbing all objects. The power cable "M-string" of the powered suit "Zero Tector" is stretched around like a human nerve, and forcibly controls the leg of the Humagear from the outside. This makes it possible to activate a special move that boasts an astonishing destructive power that exceeds the potential of the Humagear placed under control.
- Zero Shin Gear (ゼロシンギア, Zero Shin Gia): The shin armor. The internal energy condenser “Zero Annihilator” (ゼロアナイアレイター, Zero Anaiareitā) has the role of temporarily storing the energy supplied from Ark Driver-Zero when activating a special move, and discharging a large amount of energy at once.
- Zero Foot Gear (アークゼロヘッド, Zero Futto Gia): The boots. When the Special Move is activated, the anti-annihilation field can be expanded to convert the substance that becomes a resistance or obstacle into energy. Saigetsu can transform into Kamen Rider Ark-One by using the Ark-One Progrisekey in the Ark Driver-Zero, converting it into the Ark Driver-One. Saigetsu initially fought Kamen Rider Legend as Ark-Zero, before completed learning his opponent's specs and directly transformed into Ark-One.

- Ergonice Arm (エルゴニースアーム, Erugonīsu Āmu): Ark-One's arms. The power cable "M string" (Mストリング, M Sutoringu) of the powered suit "Shredding Tector" is stretched around like a human nerve, and reinforces the movement of the wearer from the outside. At the same time, by injecting the energy supplied from the Ark Driver-One, the wearer is given the power to destroy the target.
- Ark-One Gauntlet (アークワンガントレット, Ākuwan Gantoretto): Ark-One's hand and forearm armor. Etymology
"Saigetsu" is deviated from the Japanese word for "years" (歳月, Saigetsu).
Notes
- While the Kivats normally bite their transforming user's hand, Takagi opted to have Kivat bite his neck instead in order to better evoke the imagery of a vampire bite.[5]
- Saigetsu is the first Dark Kiva user to activate King's World End, a world-destroying ability only ever mentioned in supplemental material such as TV Asahi's website, Chozenshu, and Kamen Rider Zukan.
- The leg portions of Dark Kiva's suit are secured with transparent tape.
- Unlike the Ark-Zero and Ark-One from Kamen Rider Zero-One, Saigetsu's versions are categorized as two different Riders by the official website.[6] Whereas the fact that the two forms are the same Rider in the source material, a reference is made through Saigetsu transforming directly from Ark-Zero to Ark-One, a feat never performed by either the Ark nor Aruto Hiden.
- The Ark-One Malgam reused Ark-One's undersuit with a new upper body armor.
