- ―Saboneedle's Cry[src]
Saboneedle (サボニードル, Sabonīdoru) is a Plant Chemy based on a cactus.
History[]
Past[]
Saboneedle was one of 101 Chemies that were sealed into Ride Chemy Cards.
Kamen Rider Gotchard[]
Saboneedle was part of a small group of Chemies summoned by Fuga to escape the Three Dark Sisters, it was fighting Clotho by itself, after the battle Saboneedle's card was left in the Ouroboros Realm while Hopper1 and Steamliner were sent to look for the one chosen by fate.
Saboneedle was eventually unsealed from it's Ride Chemy Card and went into the city and is now on the loose, it was last seen scaring people in the same area that Apparebushido and Wrestler G were fighting in. [Gotcha! Hopper1!]
At an unknown point of time, the still unsealed Saboneedle is found by Riku Sunayama, who later become attracted to each other. However, Saboneedle is disliked by Riku's father due to Riku had hard time studying, and have cuts on his fingers ever since they make contact, thus forcing Riku to throw it away, much to Saboneedle sorrow. Ultimately, Riku decides to hand Saboneedle to Four Alchemist Academy Students after witnessing them capturing Mechanichani.
Later on, Houtarou decides to talk to Riku after listening to Saboneedle, as Riku most likely dislike the idea of him being separated by the Chemy, despite Riku vehement rejection, Rinne reprimanding about the academy rules and even Renge desperate plea for the need to capture another Chemy to fix her grade in the said Academy (Hence her immediate action to seal Saboneedle in Ride Chemy Card). However, as the two bickers and ended up playing together, Dragonfly Malgam suddenly appeared and attack both Riku and Houtarou, with Houtarou transforming into Gotchard to protect the young boy. The now sealed Saboneedle is eventually used in conjunction with Hawkstar to access Gotchard NeedleHawk form so that he can chase the Malgam. Unfortunately, due to its self doubt and fear for putting Riku into danger, Saboneedle suddenly ejected itself from Gotchardriver, thus cancelling Gotchard transformation and sending Houtarou plummeting to the ground.
Saboneedle is later found by Houtarou and Riku with the help of Smaphone, in the park where Saboneedle and Riku first met each other. However, Kenji, now revealed as the host of Dragonfly Malgam also manages to found all three of them and attempted to attack both Houtarou and Saboneedle out of prejudice. After Riku voiced his wish to remain friends with Saboneedle despite what happened, the chemy finally found its resolve as it shoots its needle to Dragonfly Malgam. Ultimately, Houtarou, who also gained Saboneedle trust, transformed into Gotchard Needlehawk form to defeat Dragonfly Malgam and reseal Greatonbo.
As expected, due to the incident, Minato ended up memory-wiped both Riku and Kenji. However, before the instructor manages to do so, Saboneedle gives Riku one of its recently bloomed flowers as a memento before allowing itself to be sealed by Houtarou. The flower did remain with Riku after his memory is wiped as Minato agreed to let him keep it.

Fortunately, Riku’s desire to remain friends with Saboneedle reassured the Chemy’s resolve to protect its friends.
