Ryutaro Okada (岡田 龍太郎, Okada Ryutaro) is a Japanese actor who portrays Isamu Fuwa in Kamen Rider Zero-One. He is affiliated with K-Dash Entertainment.
Biography
He graduated from Waseda University.
In 2016, he won the 29th Junon Superboy Contest and joined K-Dash Entertainment. Since then he has appeared in several films and dramas, which included Holiday Love alongside Ex-Aid-star Hiroki Iijima.
In September of 2019, he was cast into the role of Isamu Fuwa.
Personal life
- Okada's special skills include skiing, tennis, and playing guitar.
- Okada runs a YouTube channel, where he will often stream video games, perform song covers, and review episodes of Zero-One as well as giving insight of his filming experience.
- Okada will occasionally invite other cast members onto his channel to do various activities.
- The first cast members he invited onto his channel is Shuya Sunagawa to play PUBG Mobile and do a spicy soba eating competition followed by Ryunosuke Matsumura who was invited to play Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
- Okada had invited Daichi Yamaguchi, Minato Isshiki, and Keisuke Minami to do an interview about the character they have played.
- He also invited Noa Tsurushima to play Animal Crossing: New Horizons on his channel, where she used a custom Izu character to do a fishing competition.
- For any toy-related topics regarding his character, Okada wears a gorilla outfit for two reasons; one, to "conceal" his identity and not get in trouble performing as his character in an non-Toei affiliated platform; and two, to embrace his character's running gag of force-opening Progrisekeys by doing the same thing with a bag of potato chips.
- This is later humored by a joke from episode 21 by Izu and Okada's Character in Kamen Rider Zero-One.
- Okada has played Detroit: Become Human, a game similar to Zero-One in ways where society is run by A.I. and robots.
- Okada often plays Fortnite and use a character skin called Wolf whose appearance is nearly identical to Isamu Fuwa.
- Okada will occasionally invite other cast members onto his channel to do various activities.
