Ryutaro Imai (今井 竜太郎, Imai Ryūtarō) is a Japanese actor and model who portrays Baku Yorozu/Kamen Rider Zeztz in Kamen Rider Zeztz.
Biography[]
Since the age of six, Imai has been an accomplished swimmer and competed in several meets and prefectural competitions while he was in middle and high school.[1] In 2021, he won a modeling audition for his current agency and debuted as an actor. Imai starred in a few drama series before getting cast in Zeztz.
Personal life[]
- Imai secured the role of Zeztz on his third audition for Kamen Rider. He previously had auditioned for Kamen Rider Gavv.[2]
- Imai watched and was a fan of Kamen Rider W as a child.[3]

- A running gag amongst the Kamen Rider fan community is that many lead actors go on to star in BL (boys love) dramas afterwards. Inversely, Imai himself already starred in one titled Some Love Begins with a Mistaken Identity, which aired in 2024.[4]
