Ryo Takeuchi (竹内 崚, Takeuchi Ryō), best known under the stage name Ryoma Takeuchi (竹内 涼真, Takeuchi Ryōma), is a Japanese actor and model, who portrays the main protagonist of Kamen Rider Drive, Shinnosuke Tomari.[1][2] From episode 33 onwards, he also portrays Krim Steinbelt whenever he is in possesion of Shinnosuke's body.
He celebrated his 22nd birthday while filming for Drive's thirty-third episode. [3]
He starred in Downtown Rocket with Gaim star Gaku Sano.
Bio
At the young age of 5, Takeuchi started playing soccer. He played for his High School team, Tokyo Verdy. Later on, he received a scholarship to continue his soccer career in college. But he felt like he didn't have what it took to play professionally, so he quit.[4].
In April 2013, at the suggestion of a friend, he auditioned as an exclusive male model for a female fashion magazine "mina" and started using his current stage name.
In October 2014, he was cast in the lead role of Kamen Rider Drive as Shinnosuke Tomari.
According to his Blogs and Twitter account, Ryoma is a huge fan of Marvel Comics.
