Riku (リク) is the first Kamen Rider Kuuga in Kamen Rider Kuuga manga from another reality.
History[]
- "I am...a man who forever fights..a man who forever suffers. Are...you able to understand my joy? My pain? My suffering? Will you be able to inherit... my soul?"

In the re-imagining of the Kuuga story, once Daguva is freed from the sarcophagus, Riku awakens in the modern world as a decaying mummy. He knows that his time is running out and he will wither into dust, so he searches for a successor to defeat the Gurongi and bestow his power to him. He sees Kaoru Ichijou and at first chooses him, saving him from Xu·Gmun·Ba as Kuuga and destroying the spider for good. But, he senses that Kaoru isn't the one he is searching for and leaves. He wanders into the woods and encounters Yusuke, sensing something special about him and offering him a chance to save Sakurako from Goma after she was abducted. Yusuke accepts and then is "baptized in hellfire" seeing flashes of images of Riku's time as Kuuga while writhing in pain as the Amadam stone goes into his body, seeing Riku's memories and the brutality of his war with the Gurongi and the violent deaths of the Rinto. Once Yuuske endures the torment and transforms into Kuuga, Riku finally rests in peace and crumbles into dust.
