Rena Kurumi (胡桃 玲菜, Kurumi Rena)[1][2] is the secondary antagonist of Kamen Rider 555 20th: Paradise Regained. As the leader of Smart Brain's enforcers, she transformed into Kamen Rider Muez (仮面ライダーミューズ, Kamen Raidā Myūzu).[3]
History[]
Rena Kurumi is the leader in the new Smart Brain's Orphnoch annihilation squad, leading the Riotroopers to exterminate the Orphnochs as Kamen Rider Muez. She was first shown fighting the Rhinocerosbeetle Orphnoch, receiving cheers from an onlooking crowd. When Hisao was outed to be an Orphnoch, this led to a battle and the opportunity to become Kamen Rider Delta. However, Muez prevails by overpowering him with her predictive AI and eliminates him.
She exhibits an unusual attachment to Takumi Inui. Later on, she kidnaps Mari Sonoda, bringing her to a laboratory with the intention of activating the Orphnoch symbol implanted in the latter's body. This results in Mari transforming into the Wildcat Orphnoch, making it Rena's primary objective to eliminate her. However, Rena underestimates the formidable fighting abilities of the Wildcat Orphnoch.
Subsequently, Rena tracks down Takumi and Mari, transforming into Muez and fighting alongside Nozomi Kitazaki. Although they initially decide to retreat, Muez corners them and is on the verge of finishing them off. Surprisingly, Rena stops herself and urges the two to escape. Despite this change of heart, Kitazaki cannot forgive such betrayal, and he projects a tentacle that stabs Rena in the abdomen. Rena tries to attack Kitazaki, but he stabs her again, with the tentacle splitting into smaller wire-like tentacles, causing her body to be cut into pieces.

Kamen Rider Muez is part of the new Smart Brain's line of next generation Riders. Its performance is extremely high, and it is equipped with a Predictive AI function that analyzes enemy behavior patterns during battle and predicts enemy attacks. Based on these prediction functions, Muez has become a Kamen Rider that places emphasis on attack power and evasion ability.

- Exceed Charge (エクシードチャージ, Ekushīdo Chāji): Muez throws one of her Muez Edge daggers at her opponent, creating an energy drill that is "chained" with energy to the other Muez Edge. She then grabs the energy chain, pulling her opponent over to her before slashing them with the dagger in hand.
