Rat Fangire (ラットファンガイア, Ratto Fangaia), whose true name was Black Death (黒い死, Kuroi Shi), was a member of the Beast Class. He possessed great speed and wielded a sword and pistol as weapons.
History[]
Appearing in 1986, he is first targeted by Yuri Aso until he overpowers and nearly kills her. After Maya interfered and attempted to kill him, the Rat Fangire sought revenge on any Queen of the Checkmate Four.
By 2008, the Rat Fangire developed the ability to multiply himself, overwhelming his opponents with an army of clones until they were all destroyed by Kiva in Emperor Form with the Zanvat Sword.

All Riders vs. Dai-Shocker[]
The Rat Fangire, among many other revived monsters, was part of the Dai-Shocker army in the World of Decade that was fought and wiped out by a gathering of 25 Kamen Riders. [Kamen Rider Decade: All Riders vs. Dai-Shocker]
World of the Rider War[]
The Rat Fangire was among four Fangires who were part of a gathering of monsters that were revived by Super Apollogeist in the World of the Rider War through a surplus of life energy which he had gained during his wedding to the Fangire Queen. These four Fangires were combined to create a copy of the strongest Fangire from the World of Kiva, Beetle Fangire. This Beetle Fangire is later destroyed by Kuuga's Mighty Kick. Rat Fangire was designed by Tamotsu Shinohara (篠原 保, Shinohara Tamotsu).
Notes[]
- The Rat Fangire's true name references the plague of the same name, which was initially spread by flea-carrying rodents
- It is also significantly shorter than the true names of every other Fangire, being only two words.
- The Rat Fangire's hidden bird motif is a crow. A crow head can be seen on top of the Fangire's head.
