The Raimeiken Ikazuchi (雷鳴剣（ライメイケン）黄雷（イカヅチ）, Raimeiken Ikazuchi lit. "Thunderclap Sword Yellow Lightning") is the transformation device and personal weapon of Kamen Rider Espada. After Espada was sealed into Ankokuken Kurayami, it was in the possession of Kamen Rider Saber, who used it alongside the Kaenken Rekka. After Kamen Rider Sabela stole it, it was in the possession of Master Logos. This sword was in Touma Kamiyama's possession after he thwarted Master Logo's plan until it would later be transferred back to Kento.

After Kento Fukamiya's Lamp do Alangina Wonder Ride Book evolved into the Arabiana Night Wonder Ride Book, Raimeiken Ikazuchi evolved into Gekkou Raimeiken Ikazuchi after Kento transformed into Arabiana Night.

Gekkou Raimeiken Ikazuchi (月光雷鳴剣黄雷（ゲッコウライメイケンイカヅチ）, Gekkō Raimeiken Ikazuchi, lit. "Moonlight Thunderclap Sword Yellow Thunder") is the secondary transformation device and personal weapon of Kamen Rider Espada, who uses it to transform into his final form, Arabiana Night. It is a resonated and evolved version of the Raimeiken Ikazuchi.

Design

The (Gekkou) Raimeiken Ikazuchi is composed of the following parts:

• Seiken Swordbody (聖剣ソード本体, Seiken Sōdohontai): The base of the sword.
• Sword Grip (ソードグリップ, Sōdo Gurippu): The handle. It determines the person who is selected by the Raimeiken Ikazuchi.
• Ikazuchi Trigger (イカヅチトリガー, Ikazuchi Torigā): The trigger. When triggered, the Raimeiken Ikazuchi reads its user's intentions and initializes Rider Finishers.
• Raimeiken Ikazuchi Emblem (雷鳴剣黄雷エンブレム, Raimeiken Ikazuchi Enburemu): The yellow hilt decorated with Espada's emblem. It is capable of generating holy lightning (聖なる雷, seinaru kaminari) that can energize life and pierce any evil that lurks in darkness.
• Gekkou Raimeiken Ikazuchi Emblem (月光雷鳴剣黄雷エンブレム, Gekkō Raimeiken Ikazuchi Enburemu, lit. Moonlight Thunderclap Emblem): The source of Gekkou Ikazuchi's lightning.
• Kidenzin (キデンジン, Kidenjin, lit. "Yellow Lightning Blade"): The silver blade. It has been forged by holy lightning over several years, and the blade has the ability to become sharper as it gets more electrified.
• Ikazuchi Soul (イカヅチソウル, Ikazuchi Sōru): The blade's clear yellow section. It is a blade that can carry wisdom. By pressing a Wonder Ride Book against the Shingan Reader, the Raimeiken Ikazuchi can embody and hold its contained lore for attacks.
• Shingan Reader (シンガンリーダー, Shingan Rīdā, "lit. Mind's Eye Reader"): The reading device at the tip of the blade. By pressing it against the special speed-reading metal fitting Spireader located on the back cover of a Wonder Ride Book, the Raimeiken Ikazuchi can read the book's lore. As a result, it becomes possible to temporarily hold all the power of the Wonder Ride Book's lore in the Seiken for finishing attacks.

To transform, the user inserts one to three Wonder Ride Books into the corresponding slots on the belt and pulls out the sword.

Finisher

There are five ways to activate a finisher with the Raimeiken Ikazuchi:

1. Pulling the trigger on the sword twice while it's docked in the Swordriver.
2. Pulling the trigger on the sword and pulling it out.
3. Scanning up to three Wonder Ride Books on the sword's tip and pulling the trigger.
4. Docking the sword into the left-hand Hissatsuholder, pulling the trigger, and pulling it back out.
5. Scanning the Dragon Booster or King Lion Booster on the sword's tip and pulling the trigger.

Trueno Destroder (トルエノ・デストローダ, Torueno Desutorōda, lit. Shattered Thunder): This finisher has two variations:

• Espada dashes past the enemy at high speeds, leaving an afterimage which slashes them twice before lightning strikes the opponent.
• Multiple lines of lightning appear between enemies in the air. Espada then appears and moves along the lines of lightning at high speeds, slashing each enemy. Back on the ground, Espada delivers a series of lighting slashes to more enemies.

Trueno Mill Lanza (トルエノ・ミル・ランザ, Torueno Miru Ranza, lit. Thunder Thousand Spears): Espada summons an apparition of Lamp do Alangina, covered in quills before delivering the quills to enemy. Espada himself deliver a rising slash through the enemy before performing a downward vertical slash, coated by thunder to finish the enemy in question.

• Espada disappears in a flash of light, dashing forward in a straight line at high speeds and destroying enemies in his path in the form of a long streak of lightning. Afterward, he swings Raimeiken Ikazuchi, launching a barrage of energy hedgehog quills into enemies above.
• Espada charges Raimeiken Ikazuchi with yellow lightning and runs at the enemy at high speeds before delivering a slash attack.

Arabiana Night Hissatsu Giri: Espada jumps into the air before his surroundings turn dark and the moon appears behind him. He then transforms into lightning that travels directly downward toward the ground before turning at a right angle and going forward, through the opponent. Espada reappears behind the enemy.

A shorter prop version of (Gekkou) Raimeiken Ikazuchi is used by actors when performing Espada's transformation sequence.

The Raimeiken Ikazuchi is voiced by Akio Otsuka (大塚 明夫, Ōtsuka Akio), who has voiced various characters in Super Sentai, including Hades God Dagon in Mahou Sentai Magiranger and Champ/Oushi Black in Uchu Sentai Kyuranger.

Gekkou Raimeiken Ikazuchi

• Unlike the in-show Raimeiken Ikazuchi which is an entirely new sword, the detachable Raimeiken Ikazuchi Emblem is sold as a standalone unit (in which the Lamp Do Alangina Wonder Ride Book is also included) that attaches itself to the already existing Seiken Swordbody that comes with the DX Seiken Swordriver. By scanning the Raimeiken Ikazuchi Emblem on the Shingan Reader of the Seiken Swordbody, it will announce the corresponded Seiken, which confirms mode changes as well as the changes of lights and sounds akin to those of the Raimeiken Ikazuchi.
  • Unlike the in-film Gekkou Raimeiken Ikazuchi which is an entirely new sword, the detachable Gekkou Raimeiken Ikazuchi Emblem is sold as a standalone unit that attaches itself to the already existing Seiken Swordbody that comes with the DX Seiken Swordriver. However, it registers in the Seiken as "Raimeiken Ikazuchi", much like its original counterpart.
• This is the only Seiken that has been evolved from its original state via resonation, to which the other Seiken usually lacked.
