Prison Nightmare (プリズンナイトメア, Purizun Naitomea) is a Nightmare that embodies nightmares about huge prisons. It was born from Bijogi's guilt and trauma involving an accident with Nem, his adopted daughter.
History[]
The Prison Nightmare initially acts as a stationary prison, trapping Bijogi, a dream copy of his divorced wife Reiko, and Nem. It summons sawblades and traps to deter the prisoners from escaping, but Baku is able to overcome all of them with the power of the Capsems. In the waking world, a mysterious circle suddenly appeared in a quarry in Okutama, later revealed to be because of its tail resting on it.
When Nem runs off after Baku confronts her about the connection between herself and Bijogi, she runs into another dead end, where she is attacked by what seems to be the Nightmare. Baku is able to defeat it effortlessly with the power of the Machine Capsem before Nox arrives and reforms the monster, and another one rising as well. Baku eventually deduces that the monsters he is facing are not the Nightmare in question, but in fact, another ability of the true Nightmare—the very prison itself. Attacking the surrounding causes the Soevils to shut down, while the Nightmare itself reveals its true form. The Soevils restart again, making Zeztz unable to stop Bijogi from running off with Nem. Baku tries to follow after the two, but the Nightmare makes the stairs loop, causing him to wake up in a cold sweat. Bijogi and Nem eventually reach the "roof", which is still sealed off. Nox then appears with a Soevil and tries to temp Bijogi into giving his life for Nem, but Baku catches up and stops him. Nox summons more Soevils before leaving, and the Nightmare attempts to crush dream Reiko as Zeztz battles the Soevils. Zeztz uses Projection to find the Nightmare's weak point, a massive green brain hidden from the naked eye, and strikes it with Projection Banish, destroying it alongside the horde of Soevils.[Case7: Punish]

- Confinement: It imprisons the dreamer within its body and uses sentient torture devices called Soevil (ソウイビル, Souibiru) to drive its subjects into a corner, both mentally and physically.
- Sawblades: The Prison Nightmare can launch sawblades at nowhere to trap its target.
- Spears: The Prison Nightmare can shoot spears at nowhere to trap its target.
- Eyes: The Prison Nightmare can use many eyes at its roof to fire purple laser beams.
- Dream Manipulation: Like all Nightmares, the Prison Nightmare has the ability to manipulate dreams it is in.
Weakness:
- Brain Structure: To remotely control its bodily structures and torture instruments including the Soevil Army, Prison Nightmare possessed a humongous brain on its roof. While invisible to the naked eye, Zeztz can reveal the location using the Projection Capsem, allowing him to attack the brain directly and destroy the Nightmare.
- Bodily Harm: If someone strikes the Prison Nightmare body directly, such as the Prison Area, the Soevil army will immediately malfunction.

- The Prison Nightmare is the first Nightmare to be CGI rather than a practical suit, as well as the first non-humanoid Nightmare. It is also the first Nightmare to be incapable of speech.
- The "eyes" around the Prison Nightmare's brain is taken from the eye cameras from Kamen Rider Geats.
