Preparation (臨戦, Rinsen) is the seventeenth episode of Kamen Rider Kuuga.
Synopsis[]
A recap of the past battles between Kuuga and the Gurongi in the midst of Yusuke facing a powerful opponent.
Plot[]
Toshima Ward: Ikebukuro, 3:07 p.m.
La·Balva·De is seen sitting on a bench as she notices a newspaper article claiming that Unidentified Lifeform 24 was defeated. Me·Gadra·Da looks at it, and comments that he must be Unidentified Lifeform 25, and holds out his hand to her, which contains one of her rose petals. He then follows her, and transforms in an alley, promising to kill 72 people in 6 hours. She gives him the bracelet and unlocks his belt.
Toshima Ward: Ikebukuro, 4:34 p.m.
As he rides, Yusuke gets a report from Ichijo of ULF 25’s appearance. As he arrives, he sees several dead police officers, and ULF 25 killing another officer.
A narrator then goes over the events that happened thus far.
Toshima Ward: Ikebukuro, 5:57 p.m.
Yusuke and Unidentified Lifeform 25 continue to fight.
The narrator continues their recap.
Toshima District: Ikebukuro, 6:55 p.m.
Yusuke manages to land the finishing blow on Unidentified Lifeform 25. Ichijo arrives, and Yusuke apologizes for breaking the Try Chaser 2000.
