The Perfecter (パーフェクター, Pāfekutā) is one of the two transformation gears for Kamen Rider X, attached to the right side of his Ridol belt, with the Redizer on the left. It has a built-in energy crossing device that docks wind energy and solar energy, capable of strengthening cyborgs and extending their lifespans.
For the first 27 episodes (as well as in Kamen Rider Taisen), Keisuke Jin used the phrase "Set Up" (セタップ, Setappu) and jumps into the air with his bodysuit manifesting as he removes the Redizer and Perfecter from the sides of his belt to form his helmet and then snap up the faceplate to complete the transformation.
From 28 onward, Keisuke uses the phrase "Dai Henshin" (大変身, Dai Henshin) to transform while making a "X" sign with his arms after being powered up by the Mercury Circuit.

The Perfecter was made by Robotics scientist Keitaro Jin with what little of his inventions he had during the process of performing cyborg reconstruction surgery to make his son Keisuke Jin into a "Kaizorg" (カイゾーグ, Kaizōgu) to save his life before he succumbed to his own injuries. From then on, Keisuke used it in his quest to avenge his father's death and save the world by battling G.O.D.
Some time later, a revived and weakened Apollogeist attempted to steal the Perfecter after G.O.D scientist Dr. Daigo Miyamoto explained to him that a potential way to live longer was to install Kamen Rider X's Perfecter into his system. Apollogeist fought Kamen Rider X with the goal of obtaining his Perfecter, but was unable to accurately perform his attacks due to his slowly weakening body. As a final resort, he assumed the form of a giant fireball but was ultimately destroyed by X's X Kick.

Apollogeist[]
In Kamen Rider Decade, an artifact known as the "Perfector" appears, being used by Guy to cheat his initial "demise" at the hands of X-Rider. It is normally attached vertically in the center of his head.
By pointing this Perfector at an individual, one can absorb their "flame of life", allowing said user to extend their own lifespan. As Tsukasa Kadoya/Kamen Rider Decade showed, it can also be used to revive the deceased. Simultaneously, any unfortunate victims become greatly weakened, risking death.
Later on, Tsukasa destroyed this Perfector, preventing Guy from misusing it any further.
Electronic Wave Humanoid Tackle[]
In World of Stronger, Yuriko Misaki has a Perfecter to protect her head and her face, giving her helmet a more Rider-like appearance.

Notes[]
- While designing for Kamen Rider Ryuki, the Perfecter's likeness was incorporated to the suit's mouth-plate.[1]
- It is never clearly explained how Apollogeist (A.R.)'s Perfector can steal the life-force of others, considering that the original showed no such power. While the original Apollogeist did require Keisuke's Perfecter to remedy his ailing condition, it was from a scientific standpoint, rather than a mystical one.
G3-X
- Kamen Rider G3-X's faceplate is also called "Perfecter". Although they have no physical connection.[2]
