Icon-kuugaThis article is about a Gurongi in Kamen Rider Kuuga.

Nu·Zajio·Re (ヌ・ザジオ・レ 5, 12, 21-41) is a salamander Gurongi and the sole survivor of the Nu Group, a group of Gurongi who crafts the artifacts used by the other groups, and is labeled "Unidentified Lifeform B14" (未確認生命体B群14号, Mikakunin Seimeitai Bīgun Jūyongō).

Posing as a black garbed, sunglasses-wearing middle aged man, Zajio manages to remain in hiding with his existence unknown to the police while creating the items used by the Gurongi. With Goma's aid, Zajio obtains discarded pieces of Daguva's body and refines them to create a means for a Gurongi to have the same abilities as Daguva and Kuuga, so those in the game can defend themselves against Daguva. In the end, Zajio is eventually killed by Daguva just as he finished his final work.

Notes[]

  • Like Balva, Zajio's true Salamander form was never revealed in TV.
    • His face design in only shown in the official Kuuga artwork.

  • His name is derived from the Japanese word for "salamander" (山椒魚, Sanshōuo), specifically the salamanders of the Cryptobranchoidea suborder.
