Nova Shocker (ノバショッカー, Noba Shokkā) is an evil organization in the film Kamen Rider 1.

History[]

Origin[]

"How ridiculous. I will give rise to a new Shocker."
―Urga[src]

Shortly before Nova Shocker's emergence, Urga witnessed from afar the destruction of Shocker's Yamaarashi-Roid, and thus the thwarting of Shocker's plot to revive Jigoku Taishi, at the hands of Kamen Rider Ghost. Watching Takeru from a distance, Urga scoffed at the organization he once adhered to and vowed to give rise to the new Shocker. [Appearance! The Mysterious Warrior!]

Rise and Fall[]

To control the world from the economic area, Urga, Buffal and Igura signed up a company SHOCKER NOVA Co., Ltd. as Nova Shocker's cover and recruited many pre-Shocker members to join in. Nova Shocker's scientists later build a machine called Nova Energy System and used it to absorb all the electricity energy in Japan. The government was forced to sign the unequal treaty of the electrical energy exchange.

After many of the public electric facilities were destroyed by the overloaded Nova Energy System, the treaty was rejected by the government. Urga started to desire more power, he led the Nova Shocker which then competed with the original Shocker for the Alexander Gamma Eyecon, who wanted to control the world in the most effective way: violence. However, after Urga got the Eyecon, he loses himself and killed Igura. Finally, Urga and Buffal were destroyed by Kamen Rider 1, Ghost, Specter & Jigoku Taishi. With the death of Urga, Nova Shocker was defeated. [Kamen Rider 1 (film)]

Revival[]

Dark Mind with Urga and Buffal
"The grudges and spite of monsters defeated by the Kamen Riders, becomes Shocker's will!"
―Urga[src]

Urga and Buffal were revived by a Dark Mind, fighting with him against Kamen Riders Ghost and Specter. They were ultimately both destroyed again when Ghost used the Kamen Rider 45 Ghost Eyecon to assume Ichigou Damashii, finishing Buffal and Urga with the Rider Punch and Rider Kick Omega Drive respectively. [Last Chapter: 1 & Heisei]

Game World[]

Urga and Buffal were part of the endlessly reviving army of Shocker in the amusement park Game World. Emerging as a result of Kuroto Dan's plot to revive himself, they would persistantly attack, no matter how many times defeated, the Kamen Riders he had gathered for this purpose. [Maze 2: Escape] Once the Game World was destroyed by Kazuma Kenzaki's Joker Undead power, the Shocker army was assembled one last time under Kamen Rider Genm Zombie Gamer and Totema, but was ultimately wiped out by Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Maximum Gamer Level 99 and the second Kamen Sentai Gorider.
