Noa Tsurushima (鶴嶋 乃愛, Tsurushima Noa) is a Japanese actress, fashion model, and retired magazine editor who portrays both Is and As in Kamen Rider Zero-One. She also voiced There and one half of Kamen Rider Zero-Three in Kamen Rider Outsiders.
Biography[]
In 2013, she won the Grand Prix of the 21st Pichi Lemon audition, and became an exclusive model for them until their activities was suspended in 2015. In 2016, Tsurushima appeared in the January 2016 issue of Popteen, and became exclusive by their June 2016 issue.
In April 2019, she became the editor-in-chief of the web magazine ENMARY.
In July 2020, she announced her graduation from Popteen, and subsequently resigned from her role as editor-in-chief of ENMARY.
In February 2021, she founded her fashion brand, Romansual.
Personal Life[]
- As a child, Tsurushima primarily watched magical girl shows instead of Tokusatsu, such as Magical DoReMi, Sugar Sugar Rune, Pretty Cure, and Sailor Moon, with Sailor Saturn being her favorite character. After getting cast in Zero-One, she began to watch some Kamen Rider. [1][2]
- Tsurushima wears a wig for Is' short hair, while she uses her natural long hair for As' scenes.[1][2]

- Tsurushima created an Is-based character on Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which was featured in a Let's Play with Ryutaro Okada on his YouTube channel. [3]
- Tsurushima wore mostly a wig for filming, and found it extremely hard to film in the summer due to her Humagear earmuffs and completely enclosed wardrobe.[4]
