Nijigon (ニジゴン ) is a Chemy based on a dragon. It can attach to the Gotchardriver, allowing Kamen Rider Gotchard to become Rainbow Gotchard and Miracle Gotchard.
History
Prior to its hatching, Nijigon was an egg created by Gigist to restore the Philosopher's Stone from its fragmented state, but when the Dark Kings were sealed away, they weren't able to retrieve the egg. After some time, the egg came into Fuga Kudo's ownership and it was embedded in the Gotchardriver prior to him entrusting the Driver to Houtaro Ichinose.[Evil Descends! The Thrice-Greatest Dark Kings] The unborn Chemy became a part of Houtaro's body when he put on the Driver for the very first time, and its presence within Houtaro enabled him to perform alchemy with the Gotchardriver by using the Chemy itself as the Driver's transmuting material. Nijigon is also the reason why Kamen Rider Gotchard has the ability to freely transmute his own body into Gotchard's various Wild forms. Through all of the numerous transformations Houtaro has undergone as Kamen Rider Gotchard, the unborn Chemy became so deeply integrated with Houtaro that even Gigist could not separate them when the Dark King had tried to take the egg by force.[The Origin of Chemies! I Have Understood]
With force off the table, Gigist then changed tactics, and had instead decided to turn Houtaro and Nijigon into a Malgam by transmuting Chemies into Malgams without the need of a human host. However, when defeated, the reverted Chemies would be killed as shown through Skebows and Antrooper, causing Houtaro great anguish, but what nearly send him into the brink was Hopper1 turning into a Malgam and was defeated by Houtaro as Iron Gotchard. The sight of the withered Insect Chemy with a yellow flower it had picked to cheer up Houtaro with would have turned Houtaro into a Malgam as Gigist was planning, had Nijigon not then intervene by encasing Houtaro into a white, giant egg and spirited him away. [Hopper1 and the Treasure]
Situating the egg in an alley, the unborn Chemy then tried to keep Houtaro safe, allowing the Rider to decompress, as well as giving the unborn Chemy the temporary name of "Tamagon." Houtaro then desired to get out of the egg, managing to convince "Tamagon" to join him into the real world. He transmuted the rainbow into Tamagon as it turned into a Chemy Card and they broke out from the egg. Upon entering battle with the Fantastic Malgam, "Tamagon" hatched into Nijigon, allowing Houtaro to transform into Rainbow Gotchard and defeat the Fantastic Malgam.[Over the Rainbow]
Personality
As an egg, Nijigon is originally shown to be somewhat cowardly, but has an unwavering kind heart, especially towards Houtaro. He felt pity towards his sadness when he defeats Hopper1 himself, though Nijigon wants to comfort Houtaro's sadness. It also feared itself sharing the same fate like other Chemies who have become Malgams, so it doesn't want to be hatched. However, it was also his kindness who help Houtaro to reaffirm his resolve to create a world where humans and Chemies can co-exist and regains his cheerfulness, eventually affecting Nijigon to trust in Houtaro's ideals and gains the courage to be hatched and fight alongside him.
After becoming hatched as Nijigon, it was shown to become a kind and cheerful person who hopes to share joy and happiness with others, while expressing its ideals to play happy together with everyone in Alchemist Academy, while respecting the fellow Chemies as its superior, especially towards Hopper1, calling it as its mentor.
However, after witness the appearance of the other two Dark Kings and completely understanding its own origins, Nijigon once again feels lost what it can do, but it soon reaffirms its mind to support Houtaro and the Chemies to fight after helping dozens of people.

- Attribute: Rainbow
- Level Number: EX
- Gotchanko Chemy: Nijigon
Nijigon is the 101st Chemy born from the egg in Houtaro Ichinose. It is a fantastical being that does not fit into any attribute or level number. By combining with the Gotchardriver through Gotchange, Nijigon allows Houtaro to transform into Kamen Rider Rainbow Gotchard and Miracle Gotchard.
Nijigon consists of the following parts:
- Nijigon Head (ニジゴンヘッド, Nijigon Heddo): The head. Nijigon is highly intelligent and capable of communicating with humans. Its mouth releases the Rainbow Breath (レインボーブレス, Reinbō Buresu) that restores and revitalizes wounded Chemies and transforms them into Rainbow Chemies that are untainted by intense malice.
- Nijigon Arm (ニジゴンアーム, Nijigon Āmu): The arms. Nijigon broke out of its shell to reach out to many friends.
- Niji Arch (ニジーアーチ, Nijī Āchi): The back. It extracts alchemy materials from all things.
- Spheralchemixer (スフィアルケミキサ, Sufiarukemikisa): The limited domain light-substitution type alchemy deployment device. It forms a special rainbow field in a spherical area with a 2 meter radius centered on the Gotchardriver, making it possible to transmute Kamen Rider Rainbow Gotchard.
- Sublivector (サブリベクター, Saburibekutā): Nijigon's sublimation and diffusion device. It sublimates the power of Kamen Rider Rainbow Gotchard and diffuses the waves of the rainbow.
Powers
- Rainbow Breath (レインボーブレス, Reinbō Buresu): Nijigon's breath heals wounded Chemies and also transforms them into Rainbow Chemies that are resistant to malice, it can also become an attack which can deal effective damage even towards Gigist.
- Telepathy: The transformation images that infrequently appear in Houtaro's mind when he transforms into Gotchard were likely the egg's power demonstrating to him.[1]
Abilities
- Intelligible Speech: Nijigon is capable of conversing in full sentences, while also able to translate the words of other Chemies.
- Levitation: Nijigon is able to fly.
- Over Average-human strength: Nijigon is shown to be able to lift large objects with ease, which the weight and size of the objects are much larger than Nijigon itself.
Weaknesses
- Chemy Dispersion: According to Nijigon itself, to perform its powers to Maximum, it has to gather all of the 100 Chemies as its ally or the Chemies will not be able to maintain the form of Gotchabrothers and forcibly returns to its original Chemy state.
- Philosopher's Stone Fragment: With 1% fragment of the stone implanted within Nijigon's body, his presence was an easy target to be detected by the Dark Kings, as one of the trio are attempting to retrieve the fragment to achieve completion.
Relationships
Allies
- Houtaro Ichinose/Kamen Rider Gotchard: With his egg being sealed in the Gotchardriver, Nijigon was able to see everything that Houtaro experienced as well.
